Richie initially revealed she and the music executive were expecting their first child in an interview with Vogue in January.
“He was so excited, and we both cried,” she told the magazine of when they first found out. “It was crazy and overwhelming and so hard not to scream it from the rooftops.”
Richie also previously recalled the moment she learned they were having a little girl, saying they used party poppers for the gender reveal.

“Law & Order: Organized Crime” may be moving to Peacock for Season 5, but that doesn’t mean it won’t still have some crossovers with “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.” In fact, Mariska Hargitay is already finding a way to reunite with Christopher Meloni, she told Variety exclusively at the NBCU FYC Emmy showcase on Saturday.
“I’m actually planning on it,” she said of an upcoming crossover episode. “I just told him the other day. We had a party the other night, we saw each other. It was heavenly. I met his showrunner. They want us together, and Chris and I were talking about it, and it’s time. It’s time now for us. This was a long time not being in each other’s universe. That’s why we did the calls and stuff like that. But we’re excited to get back in there, get back in the ring.

Law & Order Svu shook things up in a big way after Chris Meloni left the series. One of the major shifts was the development of Mariska Hargitay’s Olivia Benson. But doing so went against Dick Wolf’s one rule when it came to his Law & Order characters.
Dick Wolf was adamant that ‘Law & Order’ characters shouldn’t change Olivia Benson | Virginia Sherwood/Getty Images
Meloni’s sudden departure from Svu resulted in many changes that still affect the show to this day. New characters like Kelli Giddish’ Amanda Rollins were introduced to help fill the role Meloni’s Elliot Stabler left behind. Not only that, but Meloni’s departure meant that Hargitay would be leading the show without her partner. This would put more focus on Hargitay’s Olivia Benson than ever before.

Whoa! Joey's intervention didn't go at all as expected.
Law & Order: Organized Crime Season 4 Episode 12 once again proved that this is the best series on television, at least until it moves to its new home on Peacock.
Stabler and Randall went vigilante to force Joey into sobriety, but they got a lot more than they bargained for. Now everything's in place for a season finale that may be literally explosive!
Stabler and Randall Made a Desperate Move
They'd had enough of Joey's nonsense, especially after learning he might have been involved in Sam's death, but also managed to break the tension with humor.
After Joey went on that high-speed chase and was overpowered by them, Randall walked in and casually said, "Hi, Joe." That had to be one of the funniest lines ever.
Joey's withdrawals were serious, though. His physical illness, anger, and violent attempts to escape felt realistic.

For anyone who watches “The Way Home” knows that sometimes, it can get a little confusing with so many different time periods going on at once. That’s the case for the executive producers too. During an FYC panel for the hit Hallmark Channel series on May 8, the showrunners admitted that it takes a lot of work and research to keep everything straight.
“We start at the end and then kind of work backward. We had a wonderful plan right from the start when Marly Reed created the show and wrote a beautiful bible for it. Alex and I were just so lucky to be part of it and develop it,” said co-showrunner Heather Conkie, referring to her daughter and co-showrunner, Alexandra Clarke. “We really had a three, four, five-year plan? And we’re now working on the third year. We see what worked from the first two years and it’s a process.

We think that every actor’s nightmare is to become a typescast after taking part in a movie they didn’t even like so much. Even if the film turned out to be a huge success and a well-received franchise. Or even if it got mixed reviews and was occasionally laughed at.
One of the most scandalous movies created in late 2010’s is the Fifty Shades movie series with Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson. In the movies, they play the leading roles of Christian Grey and Anastasia Still. Grey is a wealthy complex man with Bdsm preferences, and Still is a naive girl falling for the act.
Needless to say that the movies got a huge following: many viewers loved the kinky premise of it, some wanted to see how the actors handle the roles, and some just needed to watch it to later tell everybody how they cringed during the watch.

Twenty-five years. That's how long Olivia Benson has come into our homes and hearts on Law & Order: Svu.
We've grown with her, been inspired by her, and cried with her. She almost feels like a friend, and why wouldn't she?
After spending a quarter of a century together, Olivia Benson is as familiar as she is iconic and deserves to be celebrated.
It was nearly impossible to whittle the list of memorable Olivia Benson moments to just 25. She shines in every episode, and it's been exciting to accompany her on her journey from doe-eyed newbie to tough-as-nails captain of the Svu unit.
Still, every season had at least one moment that stood out.
Law & Order: Svu has evolved over the years, as has Benson, but it's easy to forget how different things were when the series first began.
Benson used to have a different hairstyle every season -- remember that?...

Contrary to popular myth, Mama Cass Elliot did not die from choking on a ham sandwich, her daughter is keen for people to know.
On the eve of the 50th anniversary of the death of the songstress with the Mamas and the Papas, Elliot’s daughter Owen Elliot-Kugell has told the BBC, “There was a ham sandwich, but she didn’t eat it and she didn’t choke on it. So enough with the jokes.”
Mama Cass died aged 32 in the London flat of fellow singer Harry Nilsson in 1974, after she had finished a two-week run of performances at the London Palladium. The autopsy confirmed her case of death as a heart attack.
At the time, and in many cultural references since, it was reported that she had choked to death on a ham sandwich, which was found by her bedside.

It's hard to imagine Law & Order: Special Victims Unit without Mariska Hargitay's Olivia Benson and Christopher Meloni's Elliot Stabler. Whether they work together or not, the early seasons of the show built a strong foundation not only for their working partnership, but also for a complicated interpersonal dynamic.
Of course, viewers were initially drawn to Svu because of the big franchise name and the scandalous element of sex crimes. A sequel to cult classic The Adventures Of Priscilla Queen Of The Desert in in the works, with the original director and cast on board.
A sequel to the cult classic, The Adventures Of Priscilla Queen Of The Desert is in the works. Thirty years after the original film’s release, it’s also been announced that its cast and writer-director Stephan Elliot are all returning.
Speaking to Deadline, Elliot revealed that a sequel is in the works, saying “I’m not repeating myself, we’ll start the new film in Australia, but by God, we’re going on one helluva journey. The original cast is on board, I’ve got a script that everybody likes, we’re still working out deals. … It’s happening”.
Although nothing is official, Elliot’s statement seems pretty definitive, and confirms that Stamp, Weaving and Pearce are all on board.

There’s something about a doppelganger that feels uniquely cinematic. A person who looks like you, thinks like you, and maybe even lives like you has always been a subject of fascination and dread in literature and philosophy, a concept that raises questions about individuality and the collective. But on the screen, seeing the effect of one person mimicked and duplicated proves all the more uncanny and unnerving. Science fiction, horror, and a multitude of other genres have used duality as a means to terrify, unsettle, and provoke.
And then, of course, there’s the acting challenge. For an experienced actor or an up-and-comer alike, playing dual roles is the ultimate flex, a way to show your range in a single project. Whether playing twins or identical strangers, an actor who takes on a dual role has to manage the trick of being both an individual and a duo, of...

There’s no Superman in the picture, but some of the core cast of Scrubs recently got together for a little pizza party. It may not be the reunion that fans want, but it’s still pretty cool seeing J.D., Elliot, the Janitor, and more are still close.
In an Instagram post, Chris Miller (Jordan Sullivan) shared the reunion pic along with a caption that read, “Impromptu pizza party with my Scrubs”. Those Scrubs were: series lead Zach Braff (J.D. Dorian), Sarah Chalke (Elliot Reid) and John C. McGinley (Janitor). They were also joined by Amanda Kloots, host of The Talk.

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for Law & Order: Organized Crime Season 4 Episode 9 “Semper Fi.”] It’s not easy to make a person see that they need help, as is the case with Joe Jr. (Michael Trotter) on Law & Order: Organized Crime when his brothers, Elliot (Christopher Meloni) and Randall (Dean Norris) try to hold an intervention after finding drugs in his hotel room. Joe goes on the defensive, even bringing up how his brothers got into it at that (already infamous) Stabler family dinner and refusing any help, especially Randall’s rehab pitch. He storms out and goes to Randall’s, where their mother Bernadette (Ellen Burstyn) is staying to ask about her rainy day stash because he needs to leave town for a bit. Then, when she says she spent it, he grabs the Mickey Mantle-signed baseball and storms out. Can he stop himself from selling it in his current emotional state? “No, I don’t ...

A Powerful New Case Hits Home for Stabler on What Could Be Law & Order: Organized Crime's Final Case
Drug addiction is one of the most heartbreaking diseases in the world.
Law & Order: Organized Crime Season 4 Episode 9 hit all the right notes, balancing the pain and suffering many addicts feel with the chaos their behavior causes.
Even the new villain is a mixed bag, making him one of the most realistic drug dealers on TV rather than a stereotype of the evil, greedy drug kingpin.
This case is one of Stabler's most personal because of younger brother Joey's involvement with heroin.
Law & Order: Organized Crime is on the chopping block, so this could be Stabler's final case. Hopefully not, but if so, at least it's a worthwhile one.
Bernadette was Organized Crime's Mvp Again
The most emotional aspects of the hour involved the subplot about Joey's drug use, especially Joey's scenes with Bernadette.
His brothers' intervention was doomed to fail -- something Stabler really ought to have known would...

The intervention that took place in this week’s Law & Order: Organized Crime went even worse than the one that took place in the show’s first season… which is really saying something.
As the episode’s synopsis teased, Elliot and Randall confronted their younger brother, Joe Jr., about his heroin use (and possible selling) during a tense conversation during this week’s hour. In the lead-up, El shared with Randall that he suspected Joe’s drug use began in Afghanistan. And when they broke into Joe’s place, they found needles, drugs and rolls of cash. “We’ve...

The time-traveling world has expanded farther than we imagined in Port Haven.
Hallmark's hit time-traveling family drama wrapped up its sophomore season by utterly blowing our minds with the revelations to come during The Way Home Season 2 Episode 10.
And we've been reeling from that finale and what it could mean for the series trajectory as it has blessedly gotten its Season 3 renewal.
But we're left to wonder if the series has overshot itself by dropping so many surprising moments during the finale, jumping the shark, or if their ambition is merely a mark of their greatness and more fabulous things to come.
Frankly, if this question had been posed during the first half to midseason, I would've admitted I was a woman of little faith.
The Way Home Season 2 was rocky, with the season not capturing the same level of magic as the first season, which is a routine pattern.

Dean Norris & Michael Trotter Talk ‘Organized Crime’ ‘Intense’ Stabler Brothers Intervention (Video)
It’s time for (another) Stabler family intervention on Law & Order: Organized Crime, and unsurprisingly, it doesn’t go well. In the April 11 episode, “Semper Fi,” Detective Elliot Stabler (Christopher Meloni) leans into his military network to search for the source of a Middle Eastern heroin pipeline making its way to the U.S. Plus, Joe Jr. (Michael Trotter) takes drastic action when his brothers try to stage an intervention. And as you can see in the sneak peek above, Elliot and Randall’s (Dean Norris) attempt to help their brother does not go well at all. “It’s not the easiest thing to take a junkie in a single scene and turn him into a good guy,” Norris tells TV Insider. “We have fun trying!” Joe “feels betrayed,” according to Trotter, because his brothers trick him into thinking they’re going to have a night out together. “Any opportunity [for that] he kind of craves,...

There’s a rumor floating about a sequel to Steven Spielberg’s iconic 1980s science fiction movie E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial in the works. Is it true? Did anyone ask for this?!
E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial may not be as fresh in the public’s consciousness as it was in decades past, but the friendly alien and his short adventure on Earth still hold up today. It spawned one of Universal’s longest-standing rides, loads of merchandise, and some instantly recognizable iconography: you’ll never look at the moon without imagining Elliot flying across it!
So, why wasn’t there a sequel? In 1985, William Kotzwinkle wrote a follow-up story based on Spielberg’s film. Finding people who remember this book is a chore and even more of a pain finding a copy. That’s about as close as we got to E.T. 2 until now.

And you thought that Stabler family dinner was tense.
This Thursday’s Law & Order: Organized Crime (NBC, 10/9c) will find Randall and Elliot attempting to help Joe Jr., whom they’re fairly sure is using heroin. Given the episode’s official synopsis — which notes that “Joe Jr. takes drastic action when his brothers try to stage an intervention” — we’re guessing that this intervention will go roughly as well as Elliot’s in Season 1. (Maybe Joe Jr. will even blurt out “I love you” to an unsuspecting participant?)

It’s too bright, the sunshine is monotonous, it’s very isolating. Those were the reasons why Chloë Sevigny, in a recent viral interview, said she will never live in Los Angeles. Anyone who’s lived there can relate to the loneliness that blankets the fragmented city, a collection of neighborhoods strung together by cars in traffic, where nobody walks or talks to each other. And why does everyone flake on plans? What are we afraid of?
That’s much like the central dilemma in Bertrand Bonello’s “The Beast,” a time-hopping sci-fi epic about the existential terrors of unrequited love, green-screen-acting, incel killers, artificial intelligence, and, oh, yes, Los Angeles. So far across the two seasons of The Way Home (which has already been renewed for a third), the pond that allows the Landrys—Kat (Chyler Leigh), Alice (Sadie Laflamme-Snow), Jacob (Spencer MacPherson), and now Colton (Jefferson Brown) so far—to travel through time has only taken them to their pasts and presents. But could it ever take someone to their future? “I don’t think anything is ruled out ever with our show,” executive producer Heather Conkie tells TV Insider. “I think the minute you get in a writers’ room and have an amazing pitch, you can run with anything. But I do think at the end of the day, whatever rules we state about the pond, whether it’s through Elliot [Evan Williams] or through what Kat says or Alice, those are the rules and we will never stray from them because we want to keep the integrity of that...

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for The Way Home Season 2 finale “Bring Me to Life.”] Season finales are usually one surprise after another and include big moments for relationships, and with its latest, The Way Home delivers both. It certainly sets Kat (Chyler Leigh) and Elliot (Evan Williams) on a hopeful path going forward. But before getting the two to that place, Kat travels back to 1814 to say goodbye to Thomas (Kris Holden-Ried) after finding out he’s about to be killed. She blames herself, but he refuses to let her, and they kiss before she leaves—and thinks he’s killed before finding out he was saved by armor. Then, in the present, Elliot tells Kat that he time-traveled with Alice (Sadie Laflamme-Snow) and got his five minutes with Colton (Jefferson Brown), so now he understands what she’s gone through, having to stop herself from trying to change the past. “I want you to choose me,...

Spoiler Alert: This post contains spoilers from “Bring Me to Life,” the Season 2 finale of Hallmark’s “The Way Home,” which streams on Peacock and Hallmark Movies Now.
“The Way Home” added another jaw-dropping twist in the Season 2 finale, “Bring Me to Life,” which aired Sunday night on Hallmark. Tonight on SNL, Ramy Youssef appeared in a sketch parodying NPR’s Tiny Desk Concerts series.
After singing a line from a song, alongside band mates played by Chloe Troast and James Austin Johnson, he tells a crowd assembled for the performance, “Thank you so much NPR. We are the Jonah Hughes Band. Now, that last one usually contains a lot more synth, but since this is a Tiny Desk concert, we’ve got to be quirking it up.”
“Yep,” says Troast. “That’s why I play a milk carton shaker.”
Youssef explains that Troast is usually on the cello, adding, “We’ve never actually played in an office before, like a real one, but being here is a dream come true.”
Before segueing into the band’s next song, “Crazy Girl, Amanda,” Youssef is interrupted by Bowen Yang, playing an NPR staffer.
“Hey, guys. Can we be quiet please?...

“Pirates of the Caribbean” producer Jerry Bruckheimer said in a recent interview with ComicBook.com that the current plan is to “reboot” the beloved Disney adventure franchise, which has grossed $4.5 billion across five movies. Bruckheimer was fielding a question about the future of his hit franchises, which also includes the Tom Cruise-starring “Top Gun” series.
“It’s hard to tell,” Bruckheimer said. “You don’t know. You really don’t know. You don’t know how they come together. You just don’t know. Because with ‘Top Gun’ you have an actor who is iconic and brilliant. And how many movies he does before he does ‘Top Gun,’ I can’t tell you. But we’re gonna reboot ‘Pirates,’ so that is easier to put together because you don’t have to wait for certain actors.”
Bruckheimer’s comment makes it seem as if the next “Pirates” movie will feature an entirely new cast,...
