- Cheryl Ford-Mente is a native Texan now living in Santa Fe. For 14 years she was the host and producer of an ACE award winning cable talk show titled "Around Arlington." Ms. Ford-Mente was also co-host of the Independence Day Parade in Arlington, Texas for 13 consecutive years. With a degree in acting from the University of Texas at Arlington, she starred in over 50 regional theatre productions and garnered 4 Best Actress awards. In addition, Ms. Ford-Mente was the Executive Director of one of the largest children's theatres and schools in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.
