To celebrate the anticipated release of Season Two of Slow Horses on Apple TV+, we sat down with the show’s incredible ensemble to find out about the sophomore season and what fans can expect from it.
In season two, long-buried Cold War secrets emerge which threaten to bring carnage to the streets of London. When a liaison with Russian villains takes a fatal turn, our hapless heroes must overcome their individual failings and raise their spy game in a race to prevent a catastrophic incident.
We sit down with Kristen Scott-Thomas and Jack Lowden, Gary Oldman and Saskia Reeves and Chris Chung, Rosalind Eleazar & Dustin Demri-Burns to chat about the ensemble, the unusual group of characters the show brings together, its uniquely British sense of humour, how expertly the show blends its sarcasm with its real-world scenarios and why they think the show struck such a chord with audiences earlier in the year.

Last week we introduced you to a fantastic short film, a kung fu comedy short called Soho Jimbo, by way of a short teaser. A wanderer plays two rivaling triad gangs against each other in their bitter war for Chinatown. The film was made by UK based director Chris Chung and his amazing team during an annual short film program held by DirectorsUK. Soho Jimbo stars Alan Wai from Into the Badlands who is no stranger to the action field. And now we can share the full short with you. Prepare to be impressed. What Chung and his team have accomplished in 48 hours rivals any studio production. The choreography is excellent stuff; Chung and his Dop frame it well. The...

Leading into Chinese New Year filmmaker Chris Chung will release his kung fu comedy short Soho Jimbo next Monday. To give you a taste of what Chung and his crew cooked up here is the trailer. A wanderer plays two rivaling triad gangs against each other in their bitter war for Chinatown. Soho Jimbo was inspired by classic martial arts films from Hk and China and stars Alan Wai from AMC's Into the Badlands who certainly holds his own. The short was one of five short films created during Director UK's Alexa program last year. All teams involved had two days to complete their short film. You can read up on Alexa, including thoughts on the process from Chung, here. Chung wrote, directed and...

If you spend any time on social media then you know that the Internet absolutely adores cats. From kitties that aren’t particularly happy to talented felines that can play a piano, they are all beloved online. That’s why it’s no surprise that Chris Chung’s Catlateral Damage was a big success on KickStarter. After all, the first-person simulator is the closest most people will ever get to the experience of being a cat.
The game does a good job of replicating a cat’s abilities, as players will be able to leap a surprisingly high distance, meow whenever they want, and use the controller’s triggers to swat with the feline’s left and right paws. It’s a solid control scheme, and one that makes a ton of sense after a brief tutorial level. You’re even able to use your claws to pick up smaller items.

Chris Chung was one of the finalists of the Virgin Media Shorts competition which ran last year, and now he’s back with another short film, Lux.
Handuken was the short which got him to the finals, and you can see that film at the end of this post but be sure to check out the trailer for his latest work. The art of capturing a mood or the essence of a film in a brief time is not an easy one to master. Having seen the completed short this teaser really does convey the whistful and slightly odd flavour to the finished film. The music, by Shawn Lyon, is divine.
Here’s the teaser, watch out for Lux to appear on the festival circuit before long.
