Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden has emerged victorious from Nickelodeon’s 2020 “Kids Pick the President” Kids Vote — but even the mock election was not free of outside interference.
According to a statement from Nickelodeon, cheating was first detected on Oct. 21 after online forums were found to be discussing how to fraudulently vote on the “Kids Pick the President” website. After employing a voter certification tool, Nickelodeon identified that more than 130,000 bot-generated votes had been cast and subsequently removed them.
Biden received 53% of the Kids Vote, and current President Donald Trump had 47%. Over 90,000 individuals cast a ballot from Oct. 20 to Oct. 26, with one vote allowed per household device.
“Though kids are not of an age to vote, Kids Pick the President is a platform where their voices do count, and they deserve to be heard. And just as kids value honesty and fairness, so do we at Nickelodeon,” the network said in a statement.

Actor Michael D. Cohen, from Nickelodeon’s longest running live-action sitcom “Henry Danger,” told Time in an interview published Thursday that he was misgendered at birth and transitioned from female to male while already working in the entertainment business nearly 20 years ago.
“I identify as male, and I am proud that I have had a transgender experience — a transgender journey,” the 43-year-old, who also stars in the “Henry Danger” spinoff “The Adventures of Kid Danger,” said in the feature story.
The Canadian-born actor plays character Schwoz Schwartz on the Nickelodeon show, a comedy about a 13-year-old boy, Henry Hart (Jace Norman), who lives in a world of superheroes. Cohen opened up about his transition to his cast, including Norman. Norman told Time that the news “didn’t change anything about the high level of respect and admiration I have for the guy,” and thinks “it’s in the best interest...

This year’s Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards was full of positivity and encouragement to be yourself. DJ Khaled, known for his upbeat mantras, hosted the 32nd annual awards ceremony alongside JoJo Siwa at USC’s Galen center.
Siwa accepted the award for favorite social music star. Siwa said in her acceptance speech, “I get hated on every single day for looking different, looking not what a normal 15-year-old should look like.” She continued, “That is not the case. We are all human, we are all different, we’re allowed to look like we want to look, we’re allowed to do what we want to do because you are the number one you.”

Never fear, Henry Danger's still here, at least for a little while. Although it's not being announced as season six renewal, Nickelodeon has ordered 10 additional episodes of its Henry Danger TV show. The increased order will bring the kids comedy well past the 100-episode benchmark, to 117. Whether Henry Danger will be cancelled or renewed beyond that point has not been revealed. One thing to keep in mind is that children's shows tend to run fewer seasons, and additional episode orders of this size sometimes telegraph that the series is working toward its ending.

Nickelodeon’s Henry Danger will join The Thundermans and iCarly in surpassing the 100-episode mark. The network has ordered an additional 10 episodes of the series, TV’s number-one live-action show with kids 2-11 and kids 6-11. The order brings Henry Danger‘s series’ total to 117 episodes, making it Nick’s longest-running live-action sitcom, currently in its fifth season.
In the 100th episode, titled “Man Cave Self Destruct,” after Schwoz’s family reunion causes chaos in the Man Cave, Captain Man reveals a “Superheroes Only” room in the Man Cave for peace and quiet. Jealous, Charlotte, Jasper and Schwoz make a cooler room to show them up. As the gang fights over who gets the better room, things get blown out of proportion.
Created by Dan Schneider and Dana Olsen, Henry Danger follows the adventures of Henry Hart (Jace Norman) who gets selected by superhero Captain Man (Cooper Barnes) to be his apprentice.

This misconceived animation draws its influences from Star Wars, Planet of the Apes and Hamlet to no good effect
This egregiously bad cartoon posits a universe in which a race of upright, vaguely simian creatures have mastered interplanetary travel. The title character (voiced by Jace Norman) is a gauche teenager mad keen on adventure who has been living on a remote garbage asteroid with only a vixen skilled in martial arts and a nerdy tusked boar for company, along with a babysitter robot named called Bananny (Susan Sarandon). However, it seems that Spark is not just some lowly nobody, but the son of a great warrior who was murdered, like Hamlet’s father, by his own brother, the tyrant Zhong (Alan C Peterson), who then imprisoned Spark’s mother (Hilary Swank) in their palace on home planet Bana. Now Spark hopes to join the resistance, overthrow his evil uncle, and so on,...

To be fair to the computer-animated kids’ flick Spark: A Space Tail, George Lucas lifted elements of everything from Flash Gordon serials to Joseph Campbell’s hero’s journey when he was writing Star Wars. But Lucas had the sense to be subtle about it. This South Korean-Canadian co-production, meanwhile, takes no such precautions, telling the tale of a restless teenager dreaming for adventure outside of the desolate space backwater where he grew up who discovers that he’s part of a lost royal lineage that must be reclaimed from a power-hungry relative in possession of a weapon with the power to annihilate entire planets at will. He even has a clunky speeder made of scrap metal he rides around on while brooding about his fate, like a simian Anakin Skywalker. Yes, the main character is a monkey. So that’s different, at least.
