Loki: Hot Toys Unveils "God Loki" Figure, Offering Detailed Look At New Costume From Season 2 Finale
In the closing moments of Loki's season 2 finale, the God of Mischief destroyed the Temporal Loom and created a new, endless Multiverse which he sits at the centre of.
We're sure "God Loki" will eventually return, particularly with Kang gearing up to embark on a Multiversal War and Incursions destroying many of these new realities. While powering up to replace the Loom, Loki's costume underwent a startling transformation, and our best look yet at that comes in the form of a new 1/6th scale Hot Toys action figure.
Two versions will be available; a limited edition with rooted hair, and another with a traditional head sculpt.
"Exquisitely crafted based on the screen appearance of Tom Hiddleston as God Loki in the finale, the figure features a newly developed head sculpt with separate rolling eyeballs," reads the official product description. "The fabric costume has been finely tailored to match Loki's on-screen appearance,...

The first season of “Loki” was the most popular of all the Marvel series to premiere on Disney+, and for good reason: The imaginative world of the Time Variance Authority (Tva) and the core relationships established within it — most notably the warm and hilarious partnership between Tom Hiddleston’s title character and Tva functionary Mobius M. Mobius (Owen Wilson) — yielded one of the liveliest and most involving Marvel screen stories since the original “Iron Man.” But as impressive as Season 1 was, it was only a warm-up for the more ambitious, suspenseful, and poignant Season 2, in which Loki finally fulfills a destiny set up for him 13 years ago in the movie “Thor” — though in a way that neither he nor the audience could possibly have predicted.

The new trailer for ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ dropped and I gotta be honest it’s been a long time since I was so excited for the MCU release. Judging by everything we’ve seen so far, there are plenty of references and easter eggs hidden in the trailer, so you can only imagine what the final product will look like. Judging on everything it does look like the studio managed to cram all those confirmed (and some of the rumored) cameos in the movie.
Now almost a day since the trailer was released, notable scoopers and leakers are weighing in on those cameos, and two notable names to be included stand out.
First, let’s get the ‘Fantastic Four’ cameo out of the way. MyTimeToShineHello, a leaker with a so-so track record when it comes to legitimate info, shared on X that Chris Evans will be reprising his role and...

It has been a lucky 13 years since Tom Hiddleston first played Loki, the God of Mischief in the film “Thor.” He returned to the role recently for season two of the TV series “Loki.” This Disney+ show provided a beautiful end (we’ll see) to the character’s epic arc.
The sophomore outing of the series seee Loki trying to save the universe with the help of Sylvie (Sophia Di Martino), Mobius (Owen Wilson), and Ouroboros (Ke Huy Quan). Kang (Jonathan Majors) is once again at the center of the trouble. The series is fantastical and is held together by the superb performance of Hiddleston. Once again, this classically trained actor brings Shakespearean authority to the role. He is also able to infuse increasing vulnerability to the former villain, making Loki one of the best characters in MCU history. Critics agree, “Loki” is the Tom Hiddleston show.

Loki stars Tom Hiddleston, Owen Wilson and Sophia Di Martino joined Deadline’s Contenders TV event Saturday to discuss set design, character motivations and the potential future of the Disney+ series beyond Season 2.
As the Marvel Cinematic Universe continues to churn out box office hits, it’s hard to believe that Hiddleston’s star-making turn as the celestial trickster brother to the hammer-wielding god Thor started well over a decade ago.
“I’ve absolutely loved playing Loki; it’s been 15 years, and it is the most magnificent and emotional roller coaster for the twists and turns,” Hiddleston said. “He has so much range and so much complexity, it never feels like [I’m playing] the same thing. But I know the reason I’m standing here in front of you today is that the audience has such curiosity and passion for and a connection to him.”

Since the teaser trailer for ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ dropped, we’ve known the Tva would be a big part of the movie. Fans expected to see Owen Wilson return as Mobius, but sadly, that won’t be the case. Instead, Matthew Macfadyen steps in as a mysterious character named Mr. Paradox, bridging the gap between the organization and our troubled heroes.
As for the movie’s plot, it’s still a mystery, but one thing’s for sure: it’s going to be a Multiversal mayhem. In the trailer, we catch glimpses of Deadpool interacting with the Tva, particularly with Mr. Paradox, who seems to be briefing him on what they’re all about.
Paradox presents him with an offer, promising Deadpool a chance to become a “hero among heroes.” However, this plan seems to go awry when Deadpool is shown taking out Tva agents with precision, leading to a confrontation with the Wolverine variant.

Ever since the teaser trailer for ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ was released we’ve been aware that the Tva would play a significant role in the movie. Many fans expected to see Owen Wilson reprise his role as Mobius, but unfortunately, that won’t happen. The role of liaison between the organization and the troubled would-be heroes fell upon the shoulders of one mysterious character named Mr. Paradox played by Matthew Macfadyen.
We don’t know what the plot of the upcoming ‘Deadpool’ movie will be, the only thing that is known for sure is that it’s going to be a Multiversal mess. Early on in the trailer, we can see Deadpool being contacted by the Tva and he can be seen talking with Mr. Paradox who appears to be giving him a run-down of what the Tva is all about.

The streaming service that brought you Ted Lasso is hoping that its next sports-themed series will have you saying “Wow!“
Apple TV+ has handed a 10-episode order to an Owen Wilson-fronted comedy set in the world of golf. Written by Jason Keller (Ford v Ferrari), the as-yet-untitled vehicle centers on Wilson’s Pryce Cahill, “an over-the-hill, ex-pro golfer whose career was derailed prematurely 20 years ago,” according to the official logline. “After he gets fired from his job at an Indiana sporting goods store and his wife walks out on him, Pryce hedges his bets entirely on a troubled, 17-year-old golf phenom.

It’s the NASCAR season and the world of sports is gearing up to witness some of the most amazing sports events in the world. Drawing thousands of viewers each time, the Daytona 500 is the iconic opening event of the NASCAR Cup Series, held annually at the Daytona International Speedway in Dayton Beach, Florida. And like every other year with a famous celeb serving as the Grand Marshall, it was Dwayne the Rock Johnson who held the title this time.

Are you ready to accept Wade Wilson as your Lord and Savior? We've come a long way from Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool getting his mouth sewn shut for reasons only "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" director Gavin Hood can fathom (and even he would probably just shrug if you asked him). Now, 15 years after the Merc with a Mouth made his inauspicious live-action debut, the character is officially joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe thanks to "Deadpool & Wolverine," a film that sees him reunited with his former costar Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. The latter had ostensibly hung up his claws for good after starring in James Mangold's elegiac "Logan," but the chance for a proper team-up with Reynolds (plus the opportunity to finally don Wolvie's fabled yellow super suit) was just too much for Jackman to pass on. That and Disney surely unloaded a dump truck's worth of money into his driveway.

Sylvie actress Sophia Dimartino from the Loki Disney+ series officially commented on the future of her character in the MCU.
At the end of Loki Season 2, Loki (Tom Hiddleston) tells Sylvie and Mobius (Owen Wilson), "I know what I want. I know what kind of god I need to be. For you. For all of us."
This led to Loki making the ultimate sacrifice of holding the Multiverse together and abandoning his friends. Given some free will, Sylvie told Mobius she had no idea where she would go, opening up her next chapter in the MCU to anything.

The MCU kicked off with a slew of interconnected movies, gradually weaving a cohesive narrative. Over time, series joined the lineup, garnering mixed reviews for some, while others earned praise and sprouted numerous spinoffs. Among these, WandaVision stood out, giving rise to ‘Agatha: Darkhold Diaries,’ ‘Vision Quest,’ and the rumored Wiccan project.
Marvel Studios initially adhered to a one-season approach for their shows. However, ‘Loki’ became an exception, with its second season emerging as a massive hit, flawlessly concluding Loki’s character arc in the MCU. The ‘Loki’ series finale marked a pivotal moment for the MCU, with the conclusion of Loki’s journey signaling a significant positive shift. Taking on the role of He Who Remains, Loki reshaped the Multiverse, breathing life into timelines and granting true randomness and free will to its inhabitants.

Following the finale of the ‘Loki’ series, it was clear that the mini-series “ending” Loki’s journey was the best thing that happened to the MCU in quite some time. The show also had massive ramifications for the Multiverse as a whole since Loki effectively took the place of He Who Remains at the end of time and assumed the position of someone who invigorates timelines and keeps them alive at the same time, giving the inhabitants of the Universe a chance at free will and true randomness.
It was clear that the events of ‘Loki’ would echo throughout the next few phases of the MCU, and soon following the finale, the first rumors dropped confirming what a handful of fans expected: that Tva and Loki would play a somewhat big role in the upcoming ‘Deadpool 3’ which is also rumored to be an incredibly important movie for the continuation of the Multiversal Saga.

By the end of “Loki” Season 2, the God of Mischief has mastered his timeslipping abilities and transformed into the God of Stories, sitting at the center of Yggdrasil, the World Tree of Norse mythology that gives structure to the universe and supports the 9 realms of existence.

[This story contains spoilers for season two, episode six, “Glorious Purpose.”]
Now that Loki season two has closed the Tva Handbook on Loki’s story, the question remains as to whether Tom Hiddleston has bid adieu to the MCU. It’s hard to imagine a better ending for the former God of Mischief, and since Loki‘s potential series finale aired last week, Hiddleston even referred to the episode as the “conclusion” of his 14-year journey with Loki. However, when pressed further on the subject this week, he then created a little bit of wiggle room for himself to return someday.
For Loki executive producer Kevin R. Wright, Hiddleston’s finale performance felt like a goodbye of sorts.
“I think his approach to that performance certainly was [a sendoff], and I think we all felt that on set,” Wright tells The Hollywood Reporter.
But similar to his lead actor, Wright is quick to issue his own caveats.

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for Loki, Season 2 Episode 6, “Glorious Purpose.”] Loki‘s second season may have paved a solitary path for the God by the finale (at least for now), but it opened a door of possibilities for Sylvie (Sophia Di Martino), the Goddess of Mischief. After jumping from apocalypse to apocalypse to evade the Tva’s capture, the “variant” finally found some brief peace after killing He Who Remains (Jonathan Majors) at the end of Season 1, working at a 1980s McDonalds out of Broxton, Oklahoma — until Loki (Tom Hiddleston) and Mobius (Owen Wilson) come looking for her with prisoner Brad (Rafael Casal) in tow. This sweeps Sylvie up in the action as she’s compelled to combat the threat of He Who Remains variants and maintain the free will she meant to grace the multiverse with. Unfortunately, her choice in Season 1 doomed the infinitely expanding branched timelines. Ultimately, Loki decides to take on the...

Spoiler Alert: This story includes discussion of major plot developments on “Loki,” which is currently streaming on Disney+.
Roughly 20 minutes after the news broke that the 118-day SAG-AFTRA strike had concluded, the first email I received from an actor’s publicist was for Ke Huy Quan. That’s how enthusiastic the recent Oscar-winning star of “Everything Everywhere All at Once” was to talk about his role on “Loki,” the Marvel Studios series for Disney+ that just wrapped up its second season. When he signs on to our Zoom chat for the interview, his face is beaming.
“I’ve waited a long time to talk about ‘Loki,’” he says. “Like, talking to you right now gives me a lot of joy.”
Quan plays Ouroboros, or “Ob,” the head (and seemingly the sole employee) of the Repairs and Advancement Department of the Time Variance Authority — basically, the one person responsible for keeping the Tva’s machinery running.

Spoiler Alert! This Q&a contains spoilers for Season 2 of Loki.
Season 2 of Marvel Studios’ Loki expands upon the inner workings of the Time Variance Authority, where the God of Mischief has been working tirelessly to save, well, all of time.
That includes introducing new characters, like Ke Huy Quan’s Ouroboros. As the Tva’s dedicated handyman, everything inside the institution was either created by him or is currently maintained by him. When Loki and Mobius enter his workshop, they become his first visitors in 400 years.
Little do they know, Ouroboros is an integral part of their quest to prevent the branches of time from overloading the Temporal Loom.
Following the end of the actors strike and on the heels of the Loki Season 2 finale, Quan spoke with Deadline about joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe, his character Ouroboros, and his own full circle career moment.

Tom Hiddleston Says ‘Loki’ Season 2 Finale Is the ‘Conclusion’ to His 14-Year Marvel Journey (Video)
Following the show’s Season 2 finale, “Loki” star Tom Hiddleston appeared on “The Tonight Show” and told Jimmy Fallon that the episode marked the end of his 14-year journey with Marvel.
Fallon had Hiddleston on as his first actor guest who could talk about one of his big projects following the SAG-AFTRA strike ending.
Hiddleston was careful not to reveal too much, telling Fallon, “If you haven’t seen it, I will not spoil it for you, but I will say this: It all comes full circle.”
“It’s the conclusion to Season 2 … It’s also the conclusion to six films, and 12 episodes, and 14 years of my life,” Hiddleston said.
Hiddleston noted that he was 29 when he was first cast as the villain, eventually turned antihero if not hero — he’s now 42.
“It’s been a journey,” Hiddleston said. “I do think, in the finale, there are echoes and...

The conclusion of ‘Loki’ Season 2 gracefully wraps up Loki’s journey in the MCU. Transitioning from a prominent villain to The God of Stories, his narrative comes full circle. While the threat of He Who Remains appears to be contained with the Tva still in existence, its purpose has shifted. Instead of pruning “dangerous” timelines, it now focuses on tracking down Kang’s variants.
In a pivotal moment, Loki taps into his divine abilities to dismantle the Time Loom, replacing it with the Yggdrasil—a sacred tree from Norse mythology, echoing both the source material and real-world myths.
Now condemned to eternal solitude, Loki becomes the heart and power source of Yggdrasil. The outcome suggests a dual possibility for Loki’s role in the MCU’s future—either a significant presence or a permanent absence due to his poignant destiny.

Warning: This article contains spoilers for all time, always for the season 2 finale of "Loki."
Of all the shocking twists and turns thrown at viewers during the season finale (and dare I say series finale?) of "Loki," few could've been as surprising as the one that the writers dropped in the waning moments of the hour. After six relentless episodes filled with timelines collapsing and multiverse-threatening chaos, the ending snaps into place when Loki heroically sacrifices himself and finds true fulfillment as the new keeper of the timelines. This allows the rest of the show's ensemble cast of characters to settle into a new status quo, one where the Time Variance Authority no longer needs to prune branches with extreme prejudice and those who wish to live their lives on the sacred timeline are now free to do so. But before Mobius (Owen Wilson) makes his fateful choice, we're treated...

For six whole episodes, fans have had to wait with baited breath to see how the Kang-sized shadow at the center of "Loki" season 2 might complicate an already unenviable and possibly untenable situation. Ever since the news first came down that actor Jonathan Majors had been accused of assault, both Marvel Studios and the moviegoing public alike have remained in a state of suspended animation. Obviously, nothing is more important than the safety of the alleged victim and ensuring that nobody in Majors' circles is ever put at risk. (The assault case, which a judge refused to dismiss despite the attempts of Majors' legal team, will move to trial on November 29, 2023.) From a business perspective, however, the choice to gamble practically the entirety of the next phase on the threat of Kang looks worse and worse in retrospect.

Burdened with glorious purpose, indeed. The messy, frantic, but constantly entertaining second season of "Loki" came to a thrilling close last night ... and probably not in a way that anyone could've expected. After spending almost an entire season building up the importance of Victor Timely (Jonathan Majors) and emphasizing their mission to fix the finicky temporal loom, the finale all but threw those red herrings out the window in favor of a much more character-focused and deeply satisfying conclusion to Loki's (Tom Hiddleston) emotional quest to find meaning. After realizing that he could opt for another way around He Who Remains' false dichotomy from last season's cliffhanger, which suggested that either the timelines remain under the Time Variance Authority's prune-happy control forever or devolve into complete and utter chaos, Loki made the ultimate sacrifice to essentially become the loom himself.

"Loki" season 2 ended as one of the greatest stories Marvel Studios has ever told. What started as a fun and weird little side story with the God of Mischief learning to care about others ended with him becoming one of the biggest heroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The season mostly dealt with the fallout of Sylvie killing He Who Remains, and the threat to all timeline branches as the Temporal Loom reached critical mass. It was a hell of a dark season, one that had enough deaths to make Thanos blush.
Just like the first episode of the show, the finale is titled "Glorious Purpose," and it is fitting. Both episodes deal with Loki struggling to find a purpose after having lost so much for so long, but this episode had him take control of his own narrative in a rather satisfying way.
The finale starts with Loki basically becoming the God of Time.

You may recall that the first ever episode of Loki was called “Glorious Purpose”, and so is the last, coming full circle as the God of Mischief finally evolves into the God of Stories. For everyone else, the possibilities are now infinite, but for Loki there is now just one life to lead: sat upon a throne, just as he once coveted, alone forever. I am not okay.
For all the predictions we threw around about how this series would end, I doubt many saw all this coming, and it feels both refreshing and heartbreaking. The episode does, however, explore some of the other directions the story could have gone, giving Loki the opportunity to kill Sylvie or somehow succeed in fixing the loom. It also includes a rather expected reveal that He Who Remains has been playing 5D chess with Loki the entire season, but...

Well, as Episode 6 opens, Loki stands back and watches it happen again before asking O.B. (Ke Huy Quan) what they did wrong. O.B. says they weren’t fast enough. So, Loki thinks he just needs to get everyone to hustle.

The Season 2 finale for Marvel Studios‘ Loki series debuts this evening, and Ke Huy Quan has a special message he’d like to share with fans. The Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom and Everything Everywhere All At Once actor plays Ouroboros (Ob) in the new season of Marvel’s hit show, which finds Loki (Tom Hiddleston), Mobius (Owen Wilson), and others struggling to keep rogue agents of the Tva (Time Variants Authority) from destroying whole timelines across the spectrum.
In Quan’s enthusiastic message, the cheerful actor expresses his gratitude for becoming a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe as a valued member of the Loki family. “I loved making this show. I’m so proud of it,” Quan says in the short video with sincerity. “It was such a joy to play Ob,” Quan continued. “It makes me so happy to know you all love him as much as I do.

Tom Hiddleston’s Loki loved playing a slippery trickster until he started literally slipping through time inside the Time Variance Authority. After the twists and turns of Season 1 of the Marvel character’s eponymous Disney+ series, “Loki” returned for a second season on Oct. 5 — and oh how time flies, the season is already coming to an end.
The Marvel series, starring Owen Wilson as Agent Mobius, Wunmi Mosaku as Hunter B-15, Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Judge Ravonna Renslayer and Sophia Di Martino as Sylvie, sets a precedent as the first MCU TV show to return for a second season on Disney+. Marvel’s last television project to hit the streamer was “Secret Invasion.”
Oscar-winner Ke Huy Quan joins the MCU as “Ob,” whom Mobius and Loki consult for the time-slipping problem, but though Ob knows what is happening and has seen it before, he does not have a solution for the pair.

Though Marvel’s Loki has delivered a great second season so far, it’s almost over! The highly anticipated finale will be released on Disney+ this week, but we don’t yet know if it’s the last we’ll see of the erstwhile God of Mischief. There has certainly been no talk of a season three in the works, and the creative minds behind the show have indicated that season two will have a pretty conclusive ending.
That being said, this season’s story has opened up a wealth of possibilities for Loki in the future. It began where we left off in the season one finale, with Loki “time-slipping” into the past, present, and future of the Tva. Along the way, he made a new friend called Ob, and solidified his friendships with people like Mobius, Casey, and Hunter B-15.

Back when the mischief incarnate Norse god Loki was introduced as one of the chief antagonists in Thor, and later went on to become the genocidal maniac in The Avengers, no one could have assumed that his character might go through the most uniquely written arc the MCU has managed to produce so far. Thanks to the space allowed during the span of the Disney+ series of the same name, Loki went on to become a fan favorite, a relatable element of chaos, a symbol of change and the flow of life itself, and the introspective, humane approach to the character taken by the showrunners is responsible for that. The fifth episode of the second season of the series “Science/Fiction” respects the approach by once again wielding Loki’s humanity as the fulcrum of the narrative, which drives the overarching plot of Tva’s multiverse crisis forward.

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for Loki, Season 2, Episode 5, “Science Fiction.”] Loki‘s second season delivered its most mind-bending episode yet as the God of Mischief (Tom Hiddleston) was forced to solve a seemingly insolvable problem, which was to control his time slipping. After Episode 4’s cliffhanger, which saw Loki and the team fail to repair the broken loom, keeping the various timelines under control, Victor Timely (Jonathan Majors) was spaghettified in an explosive flare-up, suggesting the end was nigh. But Loki finds himself transported in Episode 5, alone in the Tva; he loops back to himself before time-slipping out of the space that’s beginning to spaghettify around him. He ends up traveling in and out of various timelines, crossing paths with Mobius (Owen Wilson), who is a jetski salesman; Don, O.B. But the show has proven to be remarkably entertaining, building to a penultimate episode that stands among the best things that Marvel has ever done.

Although Loki’s second season has been well received by fans and critics alike, most of the issues with the story so far have been about its nonsensical time travel plot, the scale (and impact) of its dying timelines, and Loki’s somewhat baffling need to save the Tva given that the multiverse is trying to free itself from He Who Remains’ temporal loom. In the penultimate episode of the season, the show deftly addresses all those issues, and forces us to accept that they were never really issues in the first place.

We’re more than halfway through the second season of ‘Loki,’ and the next two episodes are bound to be the best the show has ever seen, at least according to the hype generated around them. Loki’s first standalone project in the MCU has been a wild but beautiful ride of pseudo-science, redemption, and consequences. The grand mystery surrounding He Who Remains and his natural place in the order of things, however, remains unexplored.
Many speculations have been made regarding the last two episodes of the season, and according to MyTimeToShineHello, a reputable source of leaks on X Loki will, in fact, take over He Who Remains’ spot and hold the Multiverse together while ensuring that all timelines have their individuality and freedom.

After waiting for so long to catch up with the God of Mischief’s continuing adventures in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, there are only two episodes left until we find out what Marvel has (or hasn’t) got in store for Loki beyond this series.

Thanks to Sylvie (Sophia Di Martino) pushing him through a special Time Door during the season one finale, Loki (Tom Hiddleston) ended up “time slipping” through the past, present, and near future of the Tva. In the past, he saw He Who Remains’ huge power over the employees of the Tva, including his second-in-command,...

Eric Martin, head writer of Loki Season 2, discussed the premiere’s unique conversation between Loki, Mobius, and O.B. and whether it disregards what was explained in Avengers: Endgame.
In 2019’s mega-hit blockbuster Avengers: Endgame, the titular team of heroes travel through time to various points in their history. It’s firmly established early on in the movie that whatever the characters do in the past cannot affect the present.
This concept of branching timelines was expanded upon in a big way in Marvel’s Disney+ show Loki, which took the time-travel ball and ran with it. In the series’ second season premiere, the Asgardian mischief maker had begun to slip through time uncontrollably, sending him searching for answers.
