Kerry Browne is an actor born and raised in Paisley (Pàislig), Scotland. She is of Irish and Scottish ancestry and is the only one in her family to pursue a career in acting, developing a love for the arts from a young age. She began her career in theatre; performing at Glasgow's West End Festival, before branching into film.
Kerry currently resides in Scotland, UK and is working on various writing projects; her most recent film is based on her award-winning screenplay Song of the Selkie (2024) which has just entered the festival circuit and where Kerry makes her directorial debut. Her script placed in Raindance, The British Short Film Awards and recently received a Remi-Award at the 57th WorldFest Houston Film Festival (the oldest independent film festival in the world). Currently, the screenplay is listed in the top 1% of all short projects on Coverfly and is ranked No. 5 in their "Top Rated Fantasy Short Screenplays of All Time".
She founded her own production company, Seal Woman Productions in 2023.
