- Ms. Yazdani was recognized for her humanitarian work in 2012 receiving the prestigious Leading Ontario Woman Award. Ms. Yazdani was also recognized in 2011 with an award from the Mayor of Richmond Hill for her contributions to the city's cultural affairs in connection with ethnic communities within the city. Ms. Yazdani has been affiliated with the non-profit, Borani Global Education Association, since 2009, and serves on the Executive Board. She continues to reside in Toronto and is recognized for her service to the community.
