That's all, folks! Andi Dorfman made her decision last night on the dramatic finale of "The Bachelorette" Season 10 and (for now) all feels right in the world of reality TV romance.
(Spoilers Ahead!)
The Atlanta attorney picked Josh Murray to be her main squeeze forever and ever in a heartfelt mutual declaration of love. Unfortunately, poor salty Nick was sent packing and his exit wasn't exactly pretty. In fact, this season hasn't been all roses and butterfly kisses -- there were some tough moments to watch throughout this ... (we're gonna just say it) ... journey. And it's been an especially emotional season, as we all saw Andi, the crew, and the men deal with the tragic death of contestant Eric Hill.
It's been quite the ride, and we can count plenty of romantic highs and awkward lows along the way. Let's take a trip down memory lane, shall we?

The Bachelorette took a break from the dates on Sunday for the “Men Tell All” special in which Andi Dorfman’s suitors dished about their season on the dating show.
'The Bachelorette' Recap
After Chris Harrison introduced Bachelor Nation couple Ashley Hebert and Jp Rosenbaum, who revealed they’re expecting a baby boy together, the erstwhile contestants hit the stage in scarves – which seemed to be an accidental motif of the season. Harrison then segued into a montage of some of the guys’ worst moments, including Craig ramming Patrick into a stove and the “blackie” controversy. When Harrison gave Andrew the floor to address the incident, he mistakenly thinks it was Ron – not Marquel – who’d calmly confronted him about it during the season. The mistaken identity receives appropriately incredulous reactions.
Once in the hot seat, Marquel is interrogated about why sparks never flew between Andi and him.

This crucial week on "The Bachelorette" was all about the highly-anticipated hometown dates. We got a chance to see what these four final guys' lives were all about outside the confines of a camera-filled mansion and gained new insight into their feelings, hopes, dreams, and family dynamics. Let's explore further!
-First Andi went to Wisconsin to hang with "sometimes salty" Nick and his big family. There were like a billion of them. They went to a brewery first and then had dinner with everyone, where Andi had to keep everyone straight while acting like this was totally normal. Nick's sister obviously wanted to protect him, and revealed to Andi that he had been to a lot of heartbreak and she didn't want to see him hurt. Then Andi spoke to Nick's little sister, who interrogated her with a bunch of important questions (one of them was along the...

This episode was a tough one to watch, as Andi Dorfman and her remaining four men learned of the tragic death of former contestant Eric Hill, resulting in what might be the most real, human moment on all 28 seasons of The Bachelor and Bachelorette. I understand that much of what will be talked about this week centers on Eric Hill and how we decided to handle his tragic death. I will definitely get to that below, and I will fully explain how and why everything happened, but before that I do want to give a brief mention to each gentleman’s hometown as I think it was a very interesting group of hometown dates.
I know Nick has been in the hot seat the last couple of weeks, and maybe deservedly so, but I really think his hometown showed a very different side of him.

The Bachelorette Monday night, which focused primarily on Andi Dorfman meeting the families of the final four suitors, ended with a sobering moment when the news of Eric Hill’s death is shared with the dating show contestants.
The Bachelorette Recap
Andi’s first stop on her cross-country date whirlwind is Milwaukee, Wisc., where she’s introduced to Nick’s family. Before meeting the parents, Andi is treated to a trip to a local brewery where the two down samples of the conveniently named “Nick & Andi” microbrew.
Once at the family home, Andi faces all 10 of Nick’s siblings and his parents. Nick, of course, has to weather his fair share of grilling as well. His brothers and sisters want to know if Andi fully accepts who he is and if she makes him laugh – which apparently she doesn’t, but that’s okay because she does make him smile.

We knew from the beginning of the season that eliminated "Bachelorette" contestant Eric Hill had died in a paragliding accident while the season was still in production, and his fraught final appearance on the show was followed by a brief and slightly uneasy tribute; how do you honor a man who was dismissed from the show so angrily? It's hometown dates night, aka one of the most notoriously entertaining episodes of all Bachelor Nation, but it's also a sad night as host Chris Harrison informs Andi, Nick, Chris, Josh, and Marcus of Eric Hill's tragic passing due to a paragliding accident. Here's how it all went down: Nick the Jerkface: No secrets here, guys: We do not like Nick. We haven't liked him for weeks, and we're tired of the fact that he is still there and still making Andi swoon. His Milwaukee family is either creepy or cute. As you may have guessed by now, rose lovers, I don’t usually feel sorry for people on reality TV. In general, my feeling is they have no one to blame but themselves for whatever misery this—or any other—reality franchise does to them. That said, I came dangerously close to sympathizing with Andi and her final four suitors when they found out the sad news about Eric Hill’s death on tonight’s episode. Andi, especially, took it hard, seeing as she and Eric did not leave things on great terms. “Our last conversation,” she sobs into a producer’s shoulder.

The Bachelorette, stationed in Brussels this week, saw Andi Dorfman narrow her suitors down to the top four, whose hometowns she’ll be visiting next week.
The Bachelorette Recap
Right off the bat, Andi selects Marcus for her first one-on-one date. Andi still has her concerns about him, since he did openly admit to her previously that he’d considering leaving the competition. Marcus claims he’s been working through his apprehensive feelings in his journal. Ultimately, he concluded that he’s in love with Andi, “So it’s full throttle from here."
Over dinner, Marcus opens up about his troubled childhood; his father ran off without warning and his mother was all about corporeal punishment. "[My grandparents] wanted the best for my mom, honestly, and they beat it into her—literally. So that's kind of how my mom did it to us," he admitted. Marcus' willingness to be vulnerable wins Andi over.

After a week of romance and high drama in Marseille, France, she decided to skip the cocktail party altogether and get straight to the rose ceremony, where she decided to drop the axe on three men. -Break- 'The Bachelorette' recap: Eric Hill's farewell is both bitter and sweet It wasn't especially surprising that Andrew, Marquel, and Patrick were the ones sent home. They were among the top four contestants our users had predicted to be eliminated. And going into the rose ceremony, they were among the four men who still had not been invited on a solo date with Andi. Of those four dateless men, only muscle-bound personal trainer Cody got a reprieve for another week. The triple elimination rendered much of this week's interpersonal drama moot. Two weeks after accusing Andrew...

This week, "The Bachelorette" had a big decision to make: How should they handle the departure of a contestant who died after filming? "Bachelorette" contestant Eric Hill died in a tragic paragliding accident earlier this year, giving a macabre twist to the season. That left the production wondering how much of Hill's departure from the show, which occurred on this week's episode, to show on the air....Read more...

Did The Bachelorette get too real on Monday night? On the June 2 episode of the ABC reality hit, viewers finally learned how Eric Hill, the contestant who died in a paragliding accident in April, left the show, with producers choosing to air the heated argument between him and Andi Dorfman, which led to his elimination prior to the rose ceremony. At the end of the episode, rather than show the rose ceremony (Sorry, Tasos Hernandez, the eliminated suitor.), producers had Andi sit down with host Chris Harrison to talk about Eric's exit and death, with the Bachelorette admitting the fact that she'll never have a chance to settle things with Eric is "a tough pill to swallow." On a conference...

Producers of The Bachelorette were faced with a unique problem when one of the season 10 contestants, Eric Hill, died in a paragliding accident shortly after leaving the show. Forced to make a call about how the new episodes should be edited or altered, they decided, ultimately, to let his scenes air as evidence of his "passion" and "courageous spirit" -- and his sister, for one, is glad they did. In a first-person account for Today.com, Hill's sibling Karen Tracy said she sees The Bachelorette as a [...]...

This week's second episode of "The Bachelorette" didn't feature a typical rose ceremony out of respect for deceased contestant, Eric Hill.
Eric died tragically in a paragliding accident shortly after filming his portion of the season. This was his last episode, so host Chris Harrison announced the results and paid tribute to Eric (alongside Andi) in the last few minutes of the show.
Eric's last moments on screen were tense ones. He approached Andi, hoping she would be more open and real with him, and told her, "I came on this to meet a person, not a TV actress." This sparked tears and a heated conversation, which caused him to leave not long after their exchange.
"My last conversation with him, it's not ideally the last conversation I would want to have with somebody," Andi explained to Chris Harrison at the end of the episode during their tribute.

Warning: Spoilers ahead. Goodbyes are never easy, but this one stings more than most. Week four of The Bachelorette was an emotional one, as Andi Dorfman and Bachelor Nation said a teary farewell to contestant Eric Hill, who died not long after leaving the show in a paragliding accident in Utah. Eric's exit during the June 2 episode was unexpectedly dramatic and contentious—but we'll get to that. Let's recap. The episode kicked off with Andi and Dylan embarking on a railroad-themed one-on-one date through the Connecticut River Valley. [...]...

Bachelorette Recap
Andi selects Dylan for her first one-on-one date of the week, and takes him for a ride on the Essex Stream Train. Without much delay, the two dive in to early relationship chatter, discussing, among other things, how long their longest relationships were and why the ended. It’s revealed they both called it quits because they felt as though they were settling. Dylan had the revelation after his brother’s death, but he can’t bring himself to open up about his brother’s passing and other things about his family, including the death of his sister.

Well, that was awkward. We knew the moment was coming when "The Bachelorette" would have to deal with an unfortunate real-life situation, as it was all over the news before the show even began airing (and was mentioned during the season kick-off). Still, I didn't see this playing out quite the way it did, even though we'd seen snippets leading up to it. Yes, ABC promo department, you fooled me again. Even though we'd been led to believe that Andrew was going to be in Andi's crosshairs tonight, the person who made her burst into tears and rage against the machine was actually... Eric. Nice, sweet, former Mormon Eric. I think what caused this epic meltdown was really miscommunication. During the cocktail party, Eric pulled Andi aside to tell her that, even though she had asked him to be more open and revealing, the reality was she hadn't been equally so.

Every rose has its thorn, which means some people don't wait around to be pricked! Though The Bachelor and The Bachelorette have had their fair share of dramatic rose ceremonies since the franchise's 2002 debut, it's always the exits that go down outside of a floral-based elimination setting that truly shock us. In tonight's episode of The Bachelorette, Andi Dorfman sent Eric Hill, the contestant who tragically died in a paragliding accident after his time on the show, home before the rose ceremony. And yes, there was quite a bit of drama leading up to his exit. Of course, Eric isn't the first contestant to find themselves on the receiving end of a pre-rose ceremony breakup speech. In...

This week's emotionally charged two-part episode of The Bachelorette wrapped up by discussing late contestant Eric Hill following his exit from the show.
On Monday's episode, Eric and Andi got into a confrontation about their relationship not moving forward after their initial one-on-one date. Andi ultimately decided it was best for Eric leave prior to the rose ceremony, but tragically that was the final conversation they'd have before his unexpected death in a paragliding accident in April. As host Chris Harrison tells us in our weekly chat, the show eventually decided to cut the rose ceremony and instead air an intimate conversation between Harrison and Andi about Eric. Read on for more of Harrison's take on the episodes.

Tonight on The Bachelorette, we discovered that no one should ever force reality TV contestants to pretend they are in a boy band and that Andi Dorfman is very nearly flawless. Plus, we saw what she and one of the guys would look like if they were old, because why not? Andi and Nick really seemed to hit it off as they shared a day of hiking and bike-riding and then a romantic evening in the Santa Barbara courthouse. Andi grilled Nick about past relationship and why he isn't married but all of his friends are. They got pretty close and ended the date with a bit of a smooch sesh and a rose. Brian, Marquel, Cody, Tasos, Brett, Ron, Bradley, Josh, Eric, Andrew, Patrick, and Marcus all got to go on a...

I have to wonder if it's written into some unlucky guy's contract each season that he will be outed as the slimy villain of the show, because it certainly seems that way. This week, in the first part of a two-night "The Bachelorette" special, we learn that one guy got the number of a restaurant hostess while the guys were eating out sans Andi -- and he may or may not have bragged about it. Needless to say, all the guys who are "there for the right reasons" (drink!) are incensed. It's remarkable we don't see more beat downs on this show, but who knows what ends up on the editing room floor, right? But let's begin at the beginning, which is all happiness and light. The first date card goes to Nick V. He seems a little cavalier about this whole dating the Bachelorette thing, which is odd. Back at the house,...

"He's greatly missed." The Bachelor family is still mourning the loss of Eric Hill, a contestant on Andi Dorfman's current season of The Bachelorette who died following a paragliding accident after his time on the show. After the show's May 19 premiere, viewers have gotten to know Eric better, especially on his recent one-on-one date with Andi in the last episode. And it's easy to see why the 32-year-old, who chronicled his mission to travel to all 195 United Nations-recognized countries in world record time on his site The Global Odyssey, was so well-liked by the show's producers and cast. "I used to joke around with him because he would tell me a story...

Not many first dates involve a snowboarding lesson from an Olympian—but then again, not many first dates take place on national TV, either. During the May 26 episode of The Bachelorette, Andi Dorfman took contestant Eric Hill on an epic adventure from the beaches of L.A. to the slopes of Big Bear Mountain, all within one 24-hour period of filming in late March, about a month before Hill died in a tragic paragliding accident in Utah. As part of the date, Dorfman and Hill were given a [...]...

Viewers got to know late Bachelorette contestant Eric Hill a little better on the Monday, May 26 episode of the hit ABC reality series. Hill, who died following a paragliding accident after his time on the show, had the first one-on-one date with Andi Dorfman and opened up about his travels around the world. Hill, who credited his father's hitchhiking stories with giving him the travel bug, chronicled his world travels on his site The Global Odyssey and on The Bachelorette discussed a particular trip to Syria. "Syria ended up being the scariest moment of my life hands down. My mouth always gets dry when I tell this story. Syria is by far the craziest war zone that we've ever been in," Hill said on The...

Season 10 of The Bachelorette is only on its second episode, but already feelings have been ignited and the drama has begun. Andi Dorfman, 26, an assistant district attorney from Atlanta, is this season’s Bachelorette. During the second episode of the season, Andi finally got to start dating the 19 men still in the running for her love.
Eric Hill Romances Andi Dorfman In One-On-One
Andi chose her first one-on-one date to be with Eric Hill, 31, an explorer from California. Unfortunately, we know that Eric died after taping The Bachelorette after being severely injured in a paragliding accident. Producers decided that it would be best to honor Eric by keeping him in the show and dedicating this season to him.
Eric and Andi’s date was nothing short of fun and romantic. It started with a trip to the beach, where the couple built sandcastles and admitted to still loving simple activities like playing in the sand.
