- Miatta Ade Lebile is a Nigerian American actress who was primarily raised in Texas. She spent much of her younger years living overseas, first in France, then in Chad, and then finally, Niger, before her family moved back to the United States. She has traveled all over the world, from Kenya, to Hong Kong, to Thailand, to the Canary Islands.
Although Miatta is currently an actress, she originally began her career as an opera singer, earning her B.A. in Music from Cornell University, and then earning a degree in General Management. (Mainly so she didn't have to sleep on her parents' couch.)
