Yuichiro "Sixtwo" Oku is an acclaimed composer based in Los Angeles. He has composed the score for the internationally acclaimed short "Catching Fireflies" and the award-winning feature film "Holy Frit," which won the audience award at the Slamdance film festival. Yuichiro has participated in prestigious events such as Marche du Film Festival de Cannes Spot the Composer, FOX Entertainment Songwriting Camps, and Film Independent Composer Lab.
His music has been featured in major film campaigns like "Transformers 4," "The Hobbit," "The Bourne Legacy," and "Gone Girl," as well as in trailers for notable video games such as "Call of Duty," "Assassin's Creed 4," "Destiny," and "Far Cry." Clients include Intel, Sony, Redbull, Toyota, and more.
When not composing in his studio, Yuichiro finds inspiration by surfing California's beaches.
