While Kristen Stewart has had her moments in indie movies as well as blockbusters, the actress revealed that she will “likely never” star in a Marvel film unless one specific person asked her.
The Love Lies Bleeding star said on a recent episode of the Not Skinny but Not Fat podcast that making a superhero movie “sounds like a fucking nightmare, actually.”
When host Amanda Hirsch told Stewart that she could see her playing Mary Jane “Mj” Watson from the Spider-Man comic, the actress clarified that she does “like big movies because I like people to watch them when I’m in them.”
But she added that the “system would have to change. You would have to put so much money and so much trust into one person…and it doesn’t happen. And so therefore what ends up happening is this algorithmic, weird experience where you can’t feel personal at all about it.

This post contains spoilers for the "Twilight" movies.
"Twilight" is a global phenomenon that warrants no introduction. Whether you love the five-part saga or love to dunk on it, the "Twilight" movies will be forever etched into public consciousness, as its complicated legacy within the context of young-adult fantasy simply cannot be ignored. In hindsight, "Twilight" gifted us with two astoundingly talented and diverse actors — Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, who play Bella Swan and Edward Cullen respectively, and have cemented themselves as performers capable of introducing significant depth to their roles over the years.
The core premise of the "Twilight" movies is pretty simple. An awkward, reserved teenager, Bella, finds herself jammed in an uncharacteristic love triangle, her suitors being a 107-year vampire and a shape-shifting werewolf. Grander stakes are introduced eventually in the form of century-spanning vampire-werewolf rivalry, a rogue, vicious group of vampire newborns who want to watch the world burn,...

2024 marks 12 years since the conclusion of The Twilight Saga, the successful film franchise based on the book series by Stephanie Meyers. Kristen Stewart was the star of all five Twilight movies and now that enough time has passed, she can see them for what they really are: extremely gay.
“I can only see it now. I don’t think it necessarily started off that way, but I also think that the fact that I was there at all, it was percolating. It’s such a gay movie,” Stewart told Variety in a recent interview.

Taylor Lautner was only supposed to portray Jacob Black in the first “Twilight” film, according to the actor.
During an appearance on Alex Cooper’s “Call Her Daddy” podcast, Lautner revealed that the “Twilight” team wanted to recast him for the rest of the franchise.
“My character in the first book is supposed to be like a 16-year-old little scrawny boy, and in the middle of ‘New Moon,’ he transforms into this 25-year-old looking built, muscular man,” he said.
Lautner, who was cast in the first film when he was 16, said they planned to “cast like a mid-20s guy to carry on and be Jacob for the rest of the franchise.” “I had to fight for my role back,” he said.
Determined to keep his role, Lautner began “hardcore working out for about nine months,” gaining 20-25 pounds. “I was ready, so when we got that call, my team was like,...

In an alternate universe, “Drake & Josh” star Josh Peck landed the role of Edward Cullen in “Twilight” over Robert Pattinson. At least that’s what the actor revealed on a recent episode of his “Good Guys” podcast, which featured “Twilight” actor Taylor Lautner as a guest. Lautner played the werewolf Jacob Black in the blockbuster series.
“I remember it’s like 2006? [2007]?” Peck told Lautner. “They’re like, ‘Audition for this movie, “Twilight,” it’s based on a book and it’s going to be great.’ So I send in my tape, for Edward. A month later, I’m with my manager and he goes, ‘It’s down to you and three guys, you’re close.'”
Peck said he was in complete shock when his manager informed him that he was somehow a finalist to play Edward in the “Twilight” franchise.

Taylor Lautner is recalling how he was almost recast as Jacob Black after the first Twilight movie.
If you didn’t know, the 31-year-old actor nearly lost his role due to how small and slim he was in the first film, and his character goes through a major physical transformation between the first and second books/movies.
In a new interview, Taylor opened up about how he had to re-audition for the role, how Kristen Stewart helped him get the role again, just how close to filming he found how he re-booked it, and who pushed him to start his physical transformation early.

As “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour” continues to dominate the box office, one three-screen arthouse movie theater in Milwaukee will also show films starring several of Taylor Swift’s past boyfriends.
Cara Ogburn, artistic director of Oriental Theater overseer Milwaukee Film, brainstormed the idea in response to the requirement that theaters can only show “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour” Thursdays through Sundays.
“What if we show all Jake Gyllenhaal movies,” Ogburn, who was interviewed by The New York Times, recalled suggesting initially as a joke. “True counterprogramming.”
Thus next week, the theater will screen “Twilight” starring Taylor Lautner as werewolf Jacob Black, “Dunkirk” featuring Harry Styles formerly of the boyband “One Direction” and now doing just fine on his own as a solo musician and actor, “Crimson Peak” starring Tom Hiddleston before he took on the mantle of the MCU’s Lokie and several Jake Gyllenhaal features — “Zodiac,” “Enemy,” “Nocturnal Animals...

Taylor Lautner said his perspective on the Twilight franchise and the fame he received from the films has changed over time.
During a recent interview on The Happy Hour on Today Show Radio, the actor said that while now he only has “fond memories” of his experiences while filming the movies, he also thinks that he “needed the space.”
Lautner was a teenager when the first film debuted in 2008. The franchise, based on Stephenie Meyer’s best-selling novels, went on to spawn a total of five films, with the last one, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2, premiering in 2012. Lautner starred as Jacob Black, a werewolf competing with vampire Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) for Bella Swan’s (Kristen Stewart) heart.
The Twilight Saga, which quickly became a worldwide phenomenon and grossed more than $3 billion at the box office, launched the films’ leads into stardom, something that Lautner said took time to process.

There is not denying Jacob Black’s importance to the Twilight Saga and Stephanie Meyer‘s books. The character is critical to the story millions of people came to love. There wouldn’t be a Team Jacob vs. Team Edward debate without him as this shapeshifting werewolf is much more than a pretty face. Jacob Black is described as a Native American from the Quileute tribe living in La Push, a reservation next to Forks, Washington. One thing the TV show should focus on is his community’s history and the real-world problems the Native Americans living there face every day. But first, they must find...

For many teens coming of age in the late 2000s, the Twilight franchise was their most formative film experience. The five-part film saga made superstars out of performers like Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner. The latter played Jacob Black, a shapeshifter who has an intense affection for Bella Swan. Lautner quickly became a sex symbol, and one of the most vibrant performers of the late 2000s. While Lautner might have seemed at ease in front of the cameras, in truth, he recently revealed was experiencing intense body dysmorphia.

Taylor Lautner is opening up about the impact the fan rivalry between his Twilight character and Robert Pattinson’s had on him.

Hollywood actor Taylor Lautner, who is best known for playing the shapeshifter Jacob Black in ‘The Twilight Saga’ film series, has tied the knot with his girlfriend Tay Dome. The two had been dating for close to four years, reports US Weekly.
The pair married one year after getting engaged, according to photos obtained by the Daily Mail. They said “I do” in front of about 100 guests at Epoch Estate Wines in California. The ‘Twilight’ star proposed to Dome in November 2021 after three years of dating.
Lautner shared that his now-wife wanted a simple proposal and told him to “do it in the kitchen.” The Michigan native listened to her request, “but did it big in the kitchen,” he told ‘Access Hollywood’ in January.
