Tickets for Deadpool and Wolverine are now on sale, and Marvel Studios has marked the announcement with a new teaser and poster.
The minute-long promo for Wade Wilson's Marvel Cinematic Universe debut only features a few new shots (Wolverine's mask is still nowhere to be seen), but there is a funny, if typically juvenile, gag right at the end, as the Merc With a Mouth asks Logan to "hold still" while he finishes... pulling his sword out.
The poster spotlights Wade and Wolvie locked in combat. It's a pretty cool one-sheet, but again, it seems like the studio has decided to keep the iconic mutant's full costume under wraps until audiences are sitting down to watch the movie.
This would usually be a smart strategy, but the impact will be lessened somewhat by the fact that we've already seen so much promo art spotlighting the mask. Maybe Marvel should...

After a series of Covid-related delays, production finally got underway on the long-gestating Silent Hill "requel" last year in Germany, and a first official image from the movie has been released ahead of its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival.
The still (via Fandango) gives us a first look at a redesigned take on the big bad of the survival horror video game series, Pyramid Head.
Pyramid Head, also known as "Red Pyramid", "Red Pyramid Thing" and "Triangle Head," was introduced in the second game, and his distinctive visage has gone on to become arguably the most iconic piece of imagery from the franchise.
This new version of the character doesn't look a million miles away from the video game take, but the pyramid-shaped helmet appears to be winder and longer.
Check out the still at the link below.
Our first look at Pyramid Head from #ReturnToSilentHill just dropped at #Cannes2024.

Wes Ball is ready to rumble with his upcoming release, Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes. After the reboot trilogy with Andy Serkis’ Ceasar in the lead came to an end, Ball took on the reigns with new characters and a new story but set in the same (or at least similar) world. This time, instead of Ceasar, we have Noa, a young chimpanzee hunter at the heart of the story, played by Owen Teague.

The movie will be out in theaters this weekend, but it already has a lot of positive responses from critics and industry veterans like Serkis and Matt Reeves. The latter served as the director of Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (2011) and War of the Planet of the Apes (2017). The reboot series was a huge hit among audiences, and the upcoming movie is...

A good movie monster never stays down for very long, and Art the Clown is set to return for another blood-soaked killing spree a little earlier than expected.
Despite being "killed" in extremely gruesome fashion at the end of both previous movies, the seemingly immortal murderer will dust himself off and get back to doing what he does best in Damien Leone's Terrifier 3, and we have a new look at the sadistic mime in a first official promo image.
In addition, Deadline has announced that the horror threequel has moved its release date forward by two weeks, and will now arrive in theaters on October 11.
“We’re so excited to bring the next Terrifier to theaters this fall just in time for the Halloween season,” said franchise producer Phil Falcone. “Terrifier 3 will deliver everything the fans expect and more with Art the Clown taking things to the next level.

Joaquin Phoenix screamed the 'Beau is Afraid' set down in order to "fully humiliate" himself. The 'Joker' actor - who is devoted to the art of method acting - was "overcome" with the urge to howl his head off so that nothing else he did after that would embarrass him.Speaking to director Ari Aster on the 'A24 Podcast', he shared: "I just started screaming, just the most intense guttural pain scream that I could before we were shooting, sitting there, because I had to just fully humiliate myself ... And then just go like, okay, well once that's happened, you can't look any more stupid than you do now. And it just let go of everything, right? I don't know why, but I just was overcome with this need to do that."The 48-year-old Hollywood star also revealed he was left "squirming" watching the movie back in IMAX.

Joaquin Phoenix is jokingly making a public service announcement to those people buying tickets to go watch him in his latest film Beau is Afraid.
“I was told from someone in college that there was this college thread amongst friends, a challenge they were going to take mushrooms and go see this movie,” Phoenix told Fandango in an interview. “And I just wanted to make a public service announcement and say do not take mushrooms and go see this f***ing movie.”
Phoenix then joked saying, “But if you do it, film yourself. But don’t do it!”
In the same interview, the Joker star recommended watching the film in IMAX just like he did adding, “I was definitely squirming in my seat. First of all, I’m just laughing about the entire f***ing movie. There’s a couple of sequences where I’m just squirming – I mean, stuff...

Tickets for Evil Dead Rise are on sale now, and another brand new clip has been unleashed today. This one comes courtesy of Fandango, and it expands upon a scene we’ve seen snippets of in the film’s various trailers. While cooking breakfast for her family, Ellie finds herself possessed by an evil force. Her children and sister Beth look on in absolute horror.
Evil Dead Rise is a true family affair, with the franchise leaving behind the iconic cabin in the woods and this time around wreaking havoc inside a cramped apartment building.
Watch the clip below to see how this family feud gets started…
Meagan Navarro writes in her Evil Dead Rise review for Bd, “Evil Dead Rise is an absolute crowd pleaser that’s best enjoyed with a rowdy crowd of fellow fans.”

"The Super Mario Bros. Movie" adapts Nintendo's beloved video game franchise about the mustachioed Italian-American plumber who fights evil turtles as much as he does clogged toilets (if not more). This is the first film adaptation of the "Super Mario" games in 30 years, the last attempt being the infamous 1993 live-action film "Super Mario Bros."
That film took some nightmarish creative liberties with the character designs, using practical effects to try and recreate the denizens of the Mushroom Kingdom in live action. The 2023 film from Illumination Entertainment, however, uses CG animation. As a result, the ensemble — even the inhuman characters like Bowser (Jack Black) and Donkey Kong (Seth Rogen) — look more or less identical to their video game appearances. Even so, the film has been met with reticence, due to the controversial casting of celebrity voice actor -- in particular Chris Pratt as Mario. The actor even acknowledged the backlash...

The return of The Exorcist film franchise isn’t the only exorcism horror on the way here in 2023. Julius Avery, the director of 2018’s Overlord, is back with The Pope’s Exorcist, and Fandango has debuted a clip from the movie today. Additionally, tickets are now on sale.
In the clip, which you’ll find below, Father Amorth (Russell Crowe) meets with a very curious group of clergy. He explains that he refers the vast majority of cases to secular doctors… but then there are those cases where he comes face-to-face with true evil.
Bloody Disgusting recently reported that Ralph Ineson (The Witch, The Green Knight) has joined Russell Crowe in the film. Ineson has been cast as the voice of the demon.
