Morgan Johnson was born in St. Louis, MO on June 2nd, 1992. He is the middle child of an African American mother and Scottish American father. He attended Jackson High School in Jackson, MO, graduating in 2010. He lettered in football and baseball and holds two records including most field goals in a career and longest field goal in Jackson history.
Johnson became interested in film making and performing in college when a close friend showed him footage of a live performance of Michael Jackson dancing to "Billie Jean". He then began teaching himself how to dance and make movies. Johnson received an honorable mention for Best Drama and Cinematography of the Month in June 2017 for his short film "Looking Back Merrifield". His short film "Power and Precision" received the Winner of the Month award in June 2017 at Miami Independent Film Festival. In July 2017 Johnson completed a documentary with former NASA astronaut Linda Godwin about her career at NASA. Its called "250 Miles Up" and will be released on September 10th, 2017. He is currently working on the film "Run Wilde" which will also be completed in 2017.
Johnson has stated that his ethnicity has driven him towards acting more than anything else.
