Supernatural was the show that never seemed to end. But in 2020, the long-awaited final episode was released. Over the course of fifteen seasons, the show managed to change several genres and offer a whole galaxy of very different storylines.
Supernatural has managed to go from complex emotional drama to hilarious irony over the years, never boring its viewers.
One of the key ingredients that was part of both the drama and the comedy relief was, of course, Crowley. The character, brilliantly played by Mark Sheppard in seasons from 5 to 12, began the series as a humble crossroad demon, but thanks to intelligence, cunning and ruthlessness, he quickly reached the top of the demonic hierarchy and took the throne as the King of Hell.

Some startling rumors emerged shortly after New York Police Department officers — clad in what looked like every piece of riot gear available to the department — stormed Columbia University to forcibly remove and arrest student protesters occupying a campus building.
These weren’t students; these were professional agitators. These skilled infiltrators had used industrial chains to barricade the doors of Hamilton Hall. Even worse, one of the protesters was the wife of a known terror suspect.
The claims were at best misleading and at worst outright false — but that didn’t stop law enforcement,...

I’m going to speak on behalf of Survivor fans everywhere just this once: We never want to see a player go down like that, and not just because Tribal Council was cancelled!
In Wednesday’s episode, a Nami castaway had medical called in due to numbness in his arm and an overall inability to grip with his hand. That poor soul was Randen, who ultimately sat out of this week’s immunity challenge due to his condition. But after consulting with colleagues and conducting some research, the show’s head doctor (along with Jeff) decided to pull him from the game.

The producers and key creatives behind the Live Aid musical Just for One Day, which officially opened Tuesday night at the Old Vic, have banded together to ensure that 10 percent of every ticket sold goes to the Band Aid Charitable Trust established by Bob Geldof and others to help relieve the hunger and poverty in Ethiopia.
The trust also can expect more funds pouring into its coffers if and when the show transfers from the Old Vic into the West End — and possibly to Broadway, where its capitalization will be many times more than the approximately £6 million ($7.6 million) it cost to develop and stage in London.

Previously we’ve covered the iconic Six Million Dollar Man on Gone But Not Forgotten. It’s only right that we also showcase Steve Austin’s equally amazing bionic co-hart. The Bionic Woman, who was as popular as The Six Million Dollar Man and was an important piece of TV history for a number of reasons. It would give women, girls, and guys a new perspective on just how powerful a woman could be, not only in a robotically enhanced strength but also in their character. Jamie Sommers was something special, and not even a TV death could keep her down. On this episode of Gone But Not Forgotten, listen close as we tell the story of The Bionic Woman.
The Bionic Woman herself was introduced in Season 2 of The Six Million Dollar Man already an important part of Steve Austin’s life. Jaime Sommers and Steve had a relationship...

Sir Bob Geldof is returning to his best-known project to develop a stage musical based on his 1985 Live Aid concert.
Featuring some of the era’s biggest names in music — ranging from Mick Jagger to David Bowie to to Tina Turner to Bob Dylan to still-legendary performance by Freddie Mercury and Queen — Live Aid raised millions of dollars to fight famine in Africa.
Now, Deadline is reporting that Geldof has teamed with Luke Sheppard (“& Juliet”) for “Just For One Day”, a new musical based on that iconic concert, set to premiere at London’s Old Vic Theatre in early 2024.

Charles Officer’s flashy feature reflects on violence handed down the generations but has too much faith in fatigued beats from the gangster-film locker
Canadian-Jamaican director Charles Officer’s second feature looks flashy, sounds cool and – Ghost Dog-style – likes to fling out shurikens of eastern philosophy every which way. But this tale of freelance underworld fixer Akilla Brown, played with careworn wisdom by Saul Williams, doesn’t live up to its sharp tailoring and has too much faith in fatigued beats from the gangster-film locker.
Journeyman Akilla is about to retire from the illegal cannabis-distribution business in Toronto, rendered redundant by legalisation. But he finds himself on the end of a double-barrel shotgun when a depot belonging to “the Greek”, his boss, is raided by rival hoodlums. Thanks to his sang-froid, the heist runs off the rails, and Akilla steps in to stop his crew from torturing young soldier Sheppard (Thamela Mpumlwana) who,...

It goes without saying that Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) are the heart of "Supernatural." Throughout its 15-season run, the monster-slaying brothers were the face of the CW series: its story begins and ends with them, saving people, hunting things and living up to their family legacy. But its also true that they couldn't have saved the world from multiple apocalypses without a little help from their friends.
As the seasons progressed, what began as a story about two brothers searching for their father became a beautiful example of the power of found family. It's hard to remember a time before Castiel (Misha Collins) was a core part of their team and, while he's only introduced in the last couple of seasons, Jack Kline (Alexander Calvert) later becomes a crucial addition to their family.
