Emilie Dorothea Clayton was born on the 14th of March, 1997, in Hounslow, Middlesex, UK. She grew up in Old Isleworth with her mother, Marie, and older brother, William, but spent part of her childhood living in Valbonne in the South of France, where she learned to speak French. Emilie's hobbies include horse riding, sketching and baking.
Emilie first became interested in drama when she moved back from France. She attended Hampton Court House school, and took part in school plays and school festivals. Her first major acting role was playing Hortense in a 2011 production of 'The Boyfriend' by ESTA stage school however her first paid acting role was in Balcony (2015), directed by Toby Fell-Holden, where she played one of the twins.
