The final three contestants in season six of “Project Runway All Stars” are pretty evenly matched. Fabio Costa, Stanley Hudson and Anthony Williams all won multiple design challenges over the course of the season. And they all received more high scores than low scores from the judges. But who deserves to win? We polled “Runway” fans, and though it was a close call, Hudson is our readers’ choice to take home the title. Scroll down for our complete results.
Hudson was picked by a leading 42% of respondents, which is impressive given that his journey almost ended in episode two, “Damsels in Distress,” in which he finished in the judges’ bottom two. Kelly Dempsey went home instead that week, so who knows — maybe she would have ended up in the finale if she were the one who had been spared at that pivotal moment.

“Project Runway All Stars” eliminated Helen Castillo in Thursday night’s episode, “Rock Your Face Off.” That leaves five designers in the competition: Fabio Costa, Stanley Hudson, Ken Laurence, Edmond Newton and Anthony Williams. All five of them are men, which is not only unusual but historic. This is the first time one gender has swept the top five in the history of “Runway” — not just the 6 seasons of “All Stars,” but also the 16 seasons of the original series.
It’s all the more surprising in this season of “All Stars” because the women actually started out with the numbers advantage. There were an even 16 contestants at the start of the competition, but 9 were women while only 7 were men. However, over the course of the last 10 episodes all 9 women were eliminated compared to only 2 men who suffered the same fate. Carlos Casanova was booted in the season premiere, and then...

Helen Castillo is the last woman standing in season six of “Project Runway All Stars.” Is there a chance she could win the whole competition, or is she doomed to be eliminated just like every other woman on the show?
The season started with 16 contestants: 9 women and 7 men. After 8 episodes the show is down to 1 woman and 6 men. Carlos Casanova was eliminated in the season premiere episode, but then the women were picked off one-by-one: Kelly Dempsey in “Damsels in Distress,” then Ari South and Melissa Fleis in “Perfect Pairings,” Candice Cuoco in “Balls Out,” Amanda Valentine in “Fashion’s New Superheroes,” Char Glover in “Thrown for a Loop by Betty Boop,” Kimberly Goldson in “A Kick in the Astro” and Merline Labissiere in “Mizrahi Madness.”

Two weeks after the elimination of Char Glover from “Project Runway All Stars” in the unique, cartoon-inspired challenge “Thrown for a Loop by Betty Boop,” the fashion design spin-off returned with its seventh episode of season six, “A Kick in the Astro.” And if the designers thought their distressed challenge and unconventional-materials challenge were tough, this time around they had to go for broke and unleash their unbridled creativity in an avant garde challenge judged by guest stars RuPaul Charles and Jesse Tyler Ferguson. So who thought outside of the box and who got, well, a swift kick in the astro? Scroll down for our complete minute-by-minute recap.
There were nine competitors left going into this week’s “Astro”-nomical event. Of those only Fabio Costa had won multiple previous challenges: he came out on top in “Perfect Pairings” (with Ken Laurence) and “Fashion’s New Superheroes.” Merline Labissiere won...

Season six of “Project Runway All Stars” is ostensibly a battle between veterans who have appeared on “All Stars” before and rookies who are competing in this spin-off series for the first time. However, after five weeks of competition we’ve seen a different competitive split: between men and women. And it’s not looking good for the women so far. The female designers have been dropping like flies.
The season started with 16 designers overall: 7 men and 9 women. But the early results have been lopsided. Five out of six eliminations thus far have been women, while five of the six design challenge winners have been men. At least one of those eliminations was a surprise: Amanda Valentine was the front-runner to win the competition according to our racetrack odds going into “Fashion’s New Superheroes,” but she was eliminated, which 93% of our readers disagreed with. She followed Kelly Dempsey who...

Sixteen defeated designers returned to the workroom Thursday for the sixth season of Project Runway All Stars to take one more shot at success — and a few shots at one another along the way.

Daniel Franco, where did you go? Not far, apparently, 'cause he's back -- again! The very first designer ever auf-ed from "Project Runway," only to be cut early in Season 2, must be hoping the third time's the charm in "Project Runway All Stars" Season 5.
Entertainment Weekly just shared the list of new "All Stars" designers, plus the guest judges, and the premiere date: Thursday, February 11 at 9 p.m. Et on Lifetime.
This cast raises some eyebrows for a few reasons. One, they included two designers from "Under the Gunn," which EW labeled "Season 12.5." (Did you ever consider that show Season 12.5?) Also, there's no one from this past summer's Season 14 -- no Kelly Dempsey, no Edmond Newton, no anyone -- and no "Junior" designers either, which they could conceivably add if they're going to consider "Under the Gunn" PR canon. (Just bad timing, perhaps, with the shooting of this season?)

"Project Runway," you can't fool us! At the end of last night's Season 14, Episode 12, "Roll Out the Red Carpet," Tim Gunn did not fold his hands in compassion and send Edmond Newton to the workroom to clean up his space. So Tim is going to use his save on Edmond, right, sending four designers to Fashion Week? Please?
The October 22 episode ended with Edmond as the shocking elimination -- especially shocking since he'd been one of the frontrunners from Week 1, he was never in the bottom before last night, and he took the risks that he was asked to take in this final red carpet challenge before Fashion Week.
Candice Cuoco was sent through even though the judges acknowledged she played it safe with that black dress and everyone said this was not the week to play it safe. Edmond experimented with color and really went wild with those scissors.

There are currently six designers left on "Project Runway" Season 14, and -- as it happens -- six PR designers showed at New York Fashion Week in September. This is how they do it every year, although they usually have a few more "decoy" collections, and usually the designers of each collection are known. This time, they showed anonymously.
