- Born in 1982 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Agustina Macri attended the University of Buenos Aires for a degree in Sociology (2000-2004) where she makes her first approach to cinema and documentary. In 2005, she moves to Barcelona and attends EMAV (National Film Shool) for a Master Degree in Filmmaking (2005-2007).
In 2015 she joins Oliver Stone's documentary crew for The Putin Interviews and continues exploring this field directing, among other works, Carnacalipsis (2016), SodaCirque (2016), MessiCirque (2019).
In 2017, she directed her fist feature film Soledad, kick starting her personal interest on female characters and their 'heroine's journey'. Soledad was premiered in the Warsaw Film Festival int the International Competiton (2018). Wining the next year, Best feature in the Barcelona International Film Festival.
In 2021, she directed her first TV Show for Disney's Star +, "Limbo" to be released in 2022.
