George Salazar is an LA-based actor, singer, and musician best known for originating the role of "Michael Mell" in "Be More Chill," which garnered him a Lucille Lortel Award and two Broadway.com Audience Choice Awards as well as Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle nominations. His performance of "Michael in the Bathroom" has been streamed over 40 million times. He was most recently seen on stage in 2019 when he played "Seymour Kreborn" opposite Mj Rodriguez in the critically-acclaimed Pasadena Playhouse production of "Little Shop of Horrors." Salazar is half-Filipino and half-Ecuadorian.
The first role he played in high school (and ever) was Seymour Krelborn in Little Shop of Horrors. He's wanted a chance to play it professionally ever since. He got his chance when he got the role in the production of Little Shop of Horrors at Pasadena Playhouse in Fall of 2019.
Mother, Jonah, is Filipino. Father, George, is Ecuadorian.
