Victoria Cheyenne is an indigenous Bolivian-American documentary filmmaker based in Brooklyn, NY. She is from the Northern Cheyenne and Aymara tribes and is fascinated by stories of identity, family dynamics, and cultural heritage. She also works producing, directing, and editing digital original series at Comedy Central. Cheyenne is a 2022 NeXt Doc Fellow and a proud member of the Chicana Directors Initiative. She feels strongly about telling diverse stories of personal experience and supporting stories of female identity. Her activism focuses on sovereign issues such as #LandBack and MMIP. She's a Kendeda Fund grant recipient for her short documentary, "Learning I'm Home," examining the effects of generational educational trauma by following indigenous college students in Montana.
