What does the Devil have in common with a pair of physicists? What about a mobster and a glee club or a duck and a ballerina? The answer is they all have the same taste in music.
When it comes to song selection, TV shows tend to think alike. It might be because they want all to feature the latest hits of the year.
19 Scenes Elevated by Song Choice
They may also be trying to create a certain mood during a scene, and some songs are so great at capturing that particular emotion, everybody starts using the same song for the same reason.
Below are just some examples of songs we just can't get out of our heads because we hear them on so many different shows.
1. "Home" by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros - Gossip Girl Only Blair Waldorf could make an upbeat song about home and love...

We’ve got questions, and you’ve (maybe) got answers! With another week of TV gone by, we’re lobbing queries left and right about shows including The Walking Dead, The Voice, The Flash and Scandal!
1 | The Joel McHale Show was totally mocking Jimmy Fallon with this bit, right?
2 | Why did The Walking Dead feel the need to fake Judith crying (when she clearly wasn’t) to wrap up Carl’s goodbye to his baby sister? Wouldn’t it have been more organic to have someone just pick up the kid and say, “Ok, we’d better go”?
3 | Whose smart...

This week on The CW’s The Flash, the team tracked down one of the four remaining bus metas, for better or for worse.
Knowing that there are four bus metas still unaccounted for — and now aware of what DeVoe does to his creations upon corralling them — Team Flash sets out to locate the next one. And thanks to Ralph’s idea to rummage through Bus 405’s Lost & Found box, they succeed.
After Cisco vibes a found music demo, Barry (on forced leave from Ccpd) and Ralph go meet Izzy Bowen, an up-and-coming fiddler. As their civilian selves, they try...

We think The Thinker might be having unforeseen marital problems.
As The CW’s The Flash resumes Season 4 this Tuesday at 8/7c, Barry’s latest Big Bad has adopted yet another form, that of “unlucky” bus meta Becky Sharpe. But in the course of doing so, Clifford DeVoe got a bit kill-y, needlessly offing the Iron Heights warden. That raised the hackles of his wife and partner Marlize, to the point that DeVoe is now dosing his better half with Weeper tears.
TVLine invited South African actress Kim Engelbrecht to survey the state of the DeVoes’ union, weigh in on...

Barry Allen is now back out of prison, but that doesn’t mean his troubles are over. In the next episode of The Flash, titled “Subject 9,” the Thinker will continue his/her masterplan as Team Flash comes up against a new metahuman.
In last week’s episode, Ralph shapeshifting into DeVoe got Barry released from prison – but the real DeVoe is still one step ahead of them. The Thinker is now inside the body of Becky Sharpe/Hazard (Sugar Lyn Beard) and we know from the promo for “Subject 9” that his next target will be Izzy Aka the Fiddler (Miranda McDougall).
In the comics, the Fiddler is a male member of the Flash’s rogues who’s also teamed up with the Injustice Society and the Black Lantern Corps. The meta uses their fiddling skills to hypnotize others and on The Flash, the character has not only been gender-bent, but...
