Yusuf Kapadia is an Emmy award-winning documentary editor, and graduate of the NYU Tisch film program.
In 2021 Yusuf edited his first feature-length documentary, "Rise and Rebuild: A Tale of Three Cities." A One Story Up and Tribeca Films production, the film captures how people today are working to combat the generational oppression and theft of Black wealth in various U.S. cities.
Most recently, Yusuf was the lead editor on an educational series for MasterClass. Other notable credits include ESPN's 30 For 30 series "Vick," and the PBS Emmy award-winning feature "Miles Davis: Birth of the Cool."
His time in between big edits is spent on projects exploring everything from the Tulsa massacre, to 2020's 100-day protest in Portland, Oregon, to the NBA's return after its COVID-related hiatus.
Yusuf is based in Los Angeles.
