We're not getting a break from Station 19's family members making appearances.
One of the most exciting aspects of Station 19 Season 7 Episode 8 lies in a notable guest star.
The hour will also delve into another topical issue.
The upcoming installment will be one that heavily features Natasha Ross.
The chief has a lot on her plate as she deals with the constant shifts, financial restraints, and high demands of running the house and trying to keep everyone employed.
However, she also has her personal life to consider as she and Sullivan are planning to get married.
Oddly enough, because so much of her storyline revolves around whether or not she'd have to choose her career or love, there seem to be little to no lasting consequences of their relationship, which never should've been controversial in the first place.
No, with the series ending, they've focused on more positive...

All American and Walker are two of The CW’s biggest shows.
So, it was somewhat of a surprise that neither show has been handed a renewal and a spot on the network’s fall schedule, which was unveiled this morning.
The CW bosses Dennis Miller and Brad Schwartz explained why this is the case but said that there are ongoing conversations with the studios behind these shows with Schwartz promising that a decision on All American will happen “soon”.
Both shows are expensive and as Deadline has explained before, financials for all three homegrown dramas are challenging, particularly for Walker, which won’t be able to continue unless its very low license fee is raised by the network.
Schwartz, who is President of Entertainment at The CW, told Deadline, “We didn’t feel any need to rush to meet some Upfront deadline. All American is on the air right now,...

Pretty Little Liars: Summer School is now in session, but there’s one teacher you shouldn’t expect to see roaming the halls — Ezra Fitz.
The Max reboot’s first season ended with Imogen (Bailee Madison) revealing that her baby was being adopted by a lovely couple from nearby Rosewood, specifically Aria (Lucy Hale) and Ezra (Ian Harding) from the original Pretty Little Liars. It was an exciting Easter egg for longtime fans of the franchise, one that promised a permanent connection between the two shows.

Welcome back, physical media fans. It's time for another Blu-ray round-up, and this particular edition features a study in contrasts. On one hand, we have what many will consider to be one of the best movies of the year: "Dune: Part Two" (you can read our review right here). On the other, we also have what is arguably one of the worst movies of the year: Sony's woefully inept "Madame Web" (check out our review here). But that's not all! We also have new 4K releases of several great "older" titles. Throw in the latest from one of the Coen Brothers and a Jason Statham action pic as well, and you've got yourself a jam-packed Blu-ray round-up. So keep spinning those discs and read on.

Things are looking a lot less pretty and a little more dangerous for the liars in the season premiere of Pretty Little Liars: Summer School.
Picking up right where things left off, Pretty Little Liars: Summer School Season 1 Episode 1 starts with four murders within the first five minutes.
Aptly titled "Loose Ends," that's exactly what's taken care of. If the trend continues like a Scream movie, audiences may see each new season commence with a kill scene.
Sheriff Beasley, Chip, Madame Giry, Steve, and the drug dealer to Noa's mom all met a grizzly end right at the start, wiping the slate clean for a new killer to cut some fresh flesh.
On top of everything the girls went through, now they have to spend their summer attending school or otherwise face repeating the 10th grade. A fate worse than death.
The girls also seem to each have...

Summer school begins early this year.
No, you won’t be challenged with tests or catching and marking grasshoppers, but you will feel forced to sit through class nonetheless when the next generation of Pretty Little Liars returns with their own type of Summer School.
This season discusses the classic movie trope with which Pretty Little Liars has become synonymous — the final girl.
TV Fanatic had the opportunity to get in front of the cast and creators for a little Q&a, and they did the best they could to entertain and tease without spoiling too much — just as we like it.
We first spoke to the group that not only has answers but who makes the decisions. Creators Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and Lindsay Calhoon Bring were joined by Pll mom Sharon Leal.

Unique formatting, an enjoyable character, and some focus on Vic made for an emotional hour.
The long overdue breakdown and breakthrough for Vic occurred on Station 19 Season 7 Episode 6, and we also got to fill in some of the cracks between seasons via flashbacks.
Also, Vic has to keep her job, and Crisis One will live to see multiple days.
Station 19 Fans and Fanatics, Ellie Mv, Heather M, Haley Whitmire White, and Sara Trimble convened to discuss the episode's best, worst, and most confusing moments.
Join the discussion below.
What's your opinion on the flashback formatting used for this episode? Did you need clarification on the timeline?
Ellie: My opinion on the flashbacks is that they were poorly used.
Following the episode's timeline was confusing and hard, so I was completely lost. And if they were supposed to be flashbacks, why have they not done some details like Maya's hair just like they did with Vic?...

It’s one of the most famous and beloved clips from the era of Beatlemania, and 60 years later Paul McCartney has finally responded to the lovestruck “Adrienne from Brooklyn.”
“I love the Beatles and I’ll always love them,” says the emotional young girl with the thick New Yawk accent in the 1964 black and white CBS News clip covering the Fab Four’s arrival in America for The Ed Sullivan Show. “Even when I’m 105 and an old grandmother I’ll love ’em. And Paul McCartney if you are listening Adrienne from Brooklyn loves you with all her heart!”
Today, McCartney, whose photographs from the era are on display in a major exhibition at the Brooklyn Museum, gave a response six decades in the making.
“Hey Adrienne, it’s Paul,” McCartney says in an Instagram video posted today. “Listen, I saw your video. I’m in Brooklyn now, I’m in New York,...

Spoiler Alert: This interview contains spoilers from “With So Little to Be Sure Of,” the sixth episode of the final season of ABC’s “Station 19.”
Boris Kodjoe is ready to start his next chapter. Since wrapping production last month on the final season of ABC’s venerable firefighter drama “Station 19,” the 51-year-old actor — who rose to fame in the early aughts in the Showtime drama “Soul Food” — has set his sights on broadening his horizons.
Chief among them is working more behind the camera. After directing his wife (and former “Soul Food” costar) Nicole Ari Parker in the Lifetime movie “Safe Room,” Kodjoe expressed an interest in helming an episode of “Station 19,” and his wish was granted midway through the show’s final 10-episode run. It was the ideal training ground for Kodjoe, whose exacting nature earned him a special nickname on set.

Remaking a 2002 Hong Kong hit and setting the story in Irish-Catholic Boston, Martin Scorsese seemed to be out of his element with The Departed—if not, that is, for the fact that the film marked a return to the director’s bread-and-butter mean streets, and that his source material, Wai Keung Lau and Siu Fai Mak’s Infernal Affairs, was itself heavily influenced by his iconic gangster films. Something of a genre homecoming after recent detours into the arenas of the historical epic (Gangs of New York) and the period biopic (The Aviator), The Departed again found him trawling a gritty, brutal urban underbelly where racial epithets spit from roughnecks’ mouths, class divisions are as sharp as a switchblade, and allegiances to others and one’s self are always tenuous at best.

[This story contains spoilers from the April 17 episode of Abbott Elementary, “2 Ava 2 Fest.”]
Ava Fest returned to Abbott Elementary for a second year in a row during Wednesday night’s “2 Ava 2 Fest” episode. But, unlike the first festival in season two of the ABC sitcom — where the wildly unqualified principal of Willard R. Abbott school pretended the name of the petition-signing effort stood for “A Very Abbott Festival” — this time around, she wastes no time professing her true intentions.
“Of course it’s about Ava, what do you mean?” actress Janelle James, who portrays Ava in the Quinta Brunson comedy, asks facetiously. “She just wants to have a party, charge at the door, take half. What’s the big deal?”
The big deal in the episode turns out to be Ava’s promise that Questlove will perform at the festival, which none of the teachers believe after she failed to book R&b singer Jazmine Sullivan the year prior. But...

As upset as we may be that Station 19 is being forcibly ended by ABC, we can’t say that new showrunners Zoanne Clack and Peter Paige aren’t sending the Grey’s Anatomy spinoff out with a spectacular bang. Take Thursday’s harrowing episode, for example. In “My Way,” a fire at the Space Needle nearly — but thankfully only nearly — did in Ben and Sullivan, who then wasted no time proposing to Ross. A recent court hearing didn’t go the way David Eason had hoped. On April 11, David Eason and Jenelle Evans met for the first time in court since he moved out of her home back in February. The case didn’t start positively for Eason, who was reportedly late to the courtroom. The reason he strolled in late is pretty wild, though. Reportedly, Eason was busy trying to find a lawyer the morning of his hearing, and he was looking for one that appeared on Teen Mom 2.

Nineteen had an incredibly harrowing day.
And we have an incredibly opinionated round table regarding Station 19 Season 7 Episode 4.
Maybe you'll love or loathe it, but no one holds back!
Join Ellie Mv, Heather M., and TV Fanatics Sara Trimble and Hailey Whitmire White as they discuss the episode in full!
What was your impression of this highly intense episode high on emotions?
Ellie: I'm going to sound heartless for saying that, but the episode has made me feel nothing on emotions. Why? Because the writers, the synopsis, and the trailers have the gift to make the episodes sound intense when it's not the case after watching it. And that's what happened with this episode.
Sara: I agree with Ellie: nothing, nada, zip. I see where they thought they were going with the emotional triggers. But I'm disassociated with the entire station.
I can't connect with anything or anyone this season.

What an incredibly intense hour.
The tension ran high and deep with Station 19 Season 7 Episode 4, and it feels like we're at a turning point in the season that can change the path of the series and the fate of many of these characters.
For what essentially amounts to a bottle episode, there was so much fraught tension within this hour it was enough to keep you on edge from beginning to end.
It had to be one of the longest shifts we've ever seen in this series, and by the end of it, it may have resulted in Station 19 being down another firefighter with more pending.
But first, we have to give proper accolades to Station 19's own Stefania Spampinato for her directorial debut on the series.
She did a fantastic job directing this installment and had quite the task ahead of her based on much of the content crammed into this hour.

We're burning through so many storylines at the pace of a wildfire.
Of all the installments thus far, Station 19 Season 7 Episode 3 perfectly encapsulated how the truncated final season has resulted in the series attempting to cram a bunch of storylines into half the time.
And it's such an unfortunate thing. So many of the storylines we have right now deserve breathing room to develop properly.
If there were times during Station 19 Season 6 when it felt like storylines were dragging on too long, the current season has the opposite effect.
One's head is spinning from how many different things are introduced only to shift.
It's still a bit jarring how they shuffled Jack Gibson off into the sunset with little indication of his future. Based on our Grey Damon interview, it doesn't sound like we'll be finding out anything new about what Jack is up to anytime soon.

I’m the one who doesn’t complain about the job of a lifetime; Mark Wahlberg must be the other guy. Despite landing an Oscar nomination and fulfilling so many actors’ goal of working with Martin Scorsese, Wahlberg was “a little pissed” about a few things while making The Departed, chiefly his hair.
Speaking on the Happy Sad Confused podcast earlier this month, Mark Wahlberg said the main issue that arose while filming The Departed actually had to do with that same year’s Invincible, in which he played Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Vince Papale. “I was going into Invincible after. I was trying to grow my hair out, which is why I had that weird hair…But I completely understand where Marty was coming from. He had to deal with Jack [Nicholson], he had to deal with Matt [Damon] and Leo [DiCaprio] and Alec [Baldwin] and everything, the studio and everybody else who was in the cast.

Maybe we should have seen it coming, back in Season 6 of Station 19. But when Vic made up “peer-to-peer assessments” as an excuse to check on alcoholic captain Beckett, who she feared was suicidal, we thought that she was just being her usual caring, compassionate self. And at the time, before Theo revealed himself to be an altogether awful boyfriend, perhaps that was all Hughes was doing.

Josh Peck has broken his silence on Investigation Discovery’s Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV docuseries, which put his Drake & Josh co-star Drake Bell in the spotlight. The actor-musician revealed he had been sexually abused as a child by his dialogue coach while working at Nickelodeon.
“I finished the Quiet On Set documentary and took a few days to process it,” Josh Peck’s Instagram post began. “I reached out to Drake privately, but wanted to give my support for the survivors who were brave enough to share their stories of emotional and physical abuse on Nickelodeon sets with the world.”
He continued, “Children should be protected. Reliving this publicly is incredibly difficult, but I hope it can bring healing for the victims and their families as well as necessary change to our industry.”

The woman who played Drake Bell’s mom on the Nick show Drake & Josh is expressing sadness over his abuse claims at the hand of former dialogue coach Brian Peck.
Nancy Sullivan, who played Audrey Parker-Nichols in the comedy from 2004-07, wrote on Instagram about how it “broke my heart into a million pieces to hear just how much Drake was holding inside while we were working together.”
Bell worked with Brian Peck on Nickelodeon’s The Amanda Show from 1999-2002 before he went on to co-star opposite Sullivan and Josh Peck in Drake & Josh.
“I was both devastated and proud seeing the man he’s grown into sit down on camera and bravely tell his truth,” wrote Sullivan. “Past abuse doesn’t define us, and it has no right to rule our lives, I know that putting this burden down will free him in so many ways.

The television franchise that began with Pretty Little Liars on Freeform (starting back when the channel was known as ABC Family) and continued with two short-lived spin-offs on Freeform – Ravenswood and Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists – moved over to the Max streaming service in 2022 with a new series called Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin, which leaned further into horror territory. A second season of the new series, now titled Pretty Little Liars: Summer School, is set to reach Max sometime in spring 2024, and now Cosmopolitan has unveiled a batch of images from the season (including a shot of a masked slasher) that the creators say was inspired by classic sequels Friday the 13th Part 2, Halloween II, and Scream 2!
This take on the Pretty Little Liars concept was created by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and Lindsay Calhoon Bring. It focuses on “new characters in the new fictional town of Millwood, Pa...

The feud between GTA maker Rockstar Games and Florida’s own version of Batman’s archnemesis, Lawrence Sullivan aka Florida Joker, appeared to have been settled for good. However, the debate was revived after Mr. Sullivan decided to upload a new video on his TikTok channel where he wants to “talk” to Rockstar, again.
It all began last year following the release of the company’s next installment of their flagship game. The man claimed that a character appearing in the trailer resembling his appearance had been inspired by his looks. Since then, Lawrence has been pursuing the feat of bringing home the bacon to take care of his mother as he explained in an interview.

Disneynature’s ‘Tiger’ will launch on Disney+ Hotstar this Earth Day, April 22, 2024 – exactly 15 years after the label’s first release, ‘Earth’. Also revealed today, Priyanka Chopra Jonas will narrate the compelling story, which lifts the veil on our planet’s most revered and charismatic animal, inviting viewers to journey alongside Ambar, a young tigress raising her cubs in the fabled forests of India.
“It’s just wonderful to be able to be a part of something so special and to tell the story of this magnificent animal that comes from my country – I was very honored,” Chopra Jonas said. “I have always loved tigers and I feel a kinship with the female tiger – I feel very protective of my family. Jack Gibson will never know peace!
They didn't waste any time delving into the thick of it on Station 19 Season 7 Episode 1, and if it's one thing the premiere did, it reminds us how special this series is and how upsetting it is that we're losing it.
While the fight is still ongoing for many viewers to save the series, until then, it's evident they will take us on an emotional rollercoaster of a ride for this final season.
With Jack's life in peril and his career in the balance, Dixon's death bringing Emmett back into our orbit, and Andy grappling with her first day as chief happening while her best friend was fighting for his life, the hour was intense.
When you consider all that, Theo thriving in his f*ckboy era after canoodling with chaotic Kate in the coat room during Station 19 Season 6 Episode 18 was small potatoes.

The seventh and final season premiere of “Station 19” revealed the fate of beloved firefighter Jack Gibson after he collapsed during the tragic accident at the firefighter’s ball in the previous finale. After performing emergency surgery and saving his life, Dr. Amelia Shepherd (Caterina Scorsone) broke the news to newly-promoted captain Andy Herrera (Jaina Lee Ortiz) that her friend and colleague sustained a life-altering brain injury that will bench him from field work permanently.
The episode, titled “This Woman’s Work,” ended with Jack waking up after surgery and congratulating Andy on her promotion — and asking when he would be back on duty.

Apart from starring a Hollywood legend like Sylvester Stallone and featuring some of the finest action-packed, adrenaline-inducing fight scenes, the Rocky franchise is also known for having some of the most incredible musical scores. Yet it is the official soundtrack of the third movie. Rocky III’s Eye of the Tiger that towers over all the other songs.

Tossing the guitar to the guitar tech is a classic stage move patented by legends such as Eddie Van Halen: a captivating display of athleticism, showmanship, and sheer efficiency during a fast-paced concert.
It’s also risky, as metal/electronic musician Sullivan King found out the hard way during a recent gig.
The botched guitar toss happened a few weeks ago and was documented on King’s TikTok. In the clip, King is immersed in a bath of strobe lights having just finished a song. Behind him is the silhouette of a figure, who Sullivan assumes is his guitar tech.
Without a second thought, King hurls his guitar skyward toward the figure, but as the stage lights change, we catch a glimpse of not a guitar tech, but King’s hapless photographer with a look of shock on his face as the instrument flies toward him.

For the first time, Drake Bell is opening up about being sexually assaulted by Nickelodeon dialogue and acting coach Brian Peck.
“Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV,” the upcoming ID documentary airing March 17 and 18, dives into both the alleged emotional abuse by Nick creator Dan Schneider and the physical abuse by Brian Peck.
In 2003, Peck, 43 at the time, was arrested on 11 charges — including sodomy, lewd act upon a child 14 or 15 by a person 10 years older, and oral copulation by anesthesia or controlled substance — but the minor was not named until now.

“My name is Drake Bell and I came here today to tell my story,” Bell says during the documentary’s third episode, before detailing his close relationship with Peck, whom he met at the beginning of Season 2 of “The Amanda Show.”
At first, Bell’s father was his manager and became uncomfortable about how much time...

In another life… well, no, this wouldn’t be Andy McNally and Gail Peck. But hey, we are seeing Missy Peregrym and Charlotte Sullivan, who previously starred on Rookie Blue, onscreen together again on FBI with the latter’s guest-starring role, and TV Insider has an exclusive sneak peek of the March 12 episode. Upon walking into 26 Fed, Jessica (Sullivan) calls out to Maggie (Peregrym), who asks, “Ladies have to wear heels in counter-terrorism?” According to Jessica, “Sometimes I feel like doing the power woman thing.” The two hug as they agree that “it’s been too long.” Jessica’s working with Hassan, who has been undercover at the Islamic center for three months as a maintenance man. “Why did he run?” Oa (Zeeko Zaki) asks. “Doesn’t make sense. Jubal called your unit, told them we were on the ...

Having come to love Station 19 as much as and sometimes even more than Grey’s Anatomy, the series from which it was spun, I approached TVLine’s interview with new showrunners Zoanne Clack and Peter Paige with mixed feelings. On one hand, I was delighted, as I was as eager as any overenthusiastic viewer to find out what they have in store. On the other, I was horrified, as the first-responders drama’s Season 7 premiere would mark the beginning of the end: In December, ABC turned the hose on the show, announcing that its next 10 episodes would be its last.

It’s about time for the annual New Directors/New Films Festival. Set to take place April 3 – 14, the festival presented by Film at Lincoln Center and the Museum of Modern Art features a slew of early 2024 festival favorites. Nd/Nf opens with Sundance hit “A Different Man,” directed by breakout filmmaker Aaron Schimberg. Sebastian Stan won the Berlinale best actor award for his turn in the feature as an actor who undergoes a facial reconfiguration surgery.
Film at Lincoln Center programmer and 2024 New Directors/New Films co-chair Dan Sullivan billed “A Different Man” as a “delirious, complex, and hilarious work that evokes the best black comedies produced on the streets and inside the apartments of New York City in the 1960s and ’70s (with a healthy dash of body horror and metanarrative).”
Nd/Nf closes with fellow New York-based film “Stress Positions,” which also premiered at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival.

The FBI universe may have just returned to the air after almost a year off, but sadly, we’re already getting a short break in the schedule.
Unlike in the past, this latest hiatus has nothing to do with the show’s production schedule.
Instead, the shows on the broadcast network will take a breather on Tuesday, March 5.
After such a long break between seasons, a surefire way to ruin the momentum for FBI, FBI: International, and FBI: Most Wanted is to put them on hiatus.
But this time, it’s necessary. There was the hope that with all CBS dramas airing truncated seasons, the breaks in the schedule would be pretty much non-existent.
The three FBI universe series have aired three episodes, so we’re still very early into their latest runs.
When will the FBI universe return to CBS?
