"Five pounds of trigger pressure – so your aim, never off." Lionsgate has revealed an official trailer for the film 5lbs of Pressure, an action thriller by filmmaker Phil Allocco. Filmed mostly in the UK even though this is an American production. Yet another generic crime thriller with the same characters and plot we've seen often recently. Trying to start over, Adam searches for redemption returning to his old neighborhood to put to rest his demons, though he comes under new pressure when the brother of the man he killed seeks revenge on him. Meanwhile, Mike, is trying to escape a life of crime living under the thumb of his gangster Uncle Leff. The movie stars Luke Evans as Adam, Rory Culkin as Mike, Zac Adams, Rudy Pankow, Stephanie Leonidas, Savannah Steyn, Lorraine Burroughs, and Alex Pettyfer as Leff. This is not a bad trailer, it just doesn't really convince me this is worth watching.

For quite a while now, fans have speculated that Hayden Christensen will return to his role as Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader in the ‘Ahsoka’ series on Disney+. Then, those speculations were somewhat confirmed when we saw – and heard – tidbits of Anakin in the show’s trailer. But now, it seems that we know exactly when we can expect to see Anakin’s return.
Before we continue, I’d like to point out that the rumors never came as an official statement from Disney or Lucasfilm, so take everything with a grain of salt. They did, however, come from trusted sources that have been right about many Star Wars-related rumors and leaks. With that being said, let’s dive in.
It has been hinted that Episode 4 will have a major impact on Ahsoka’s life. In fact, some fans have suggested that the show’s creator, Dave Filoni, has described Ahsoka...

"Once a Rebel, always a Rebel." Disney & Lucasfilm have debuted another new 45-second teaser trailer for the Ahsoka series - launching for streaming this August. This live-action spin off takes the character first created for the animated The Clone Wars series and brings her to life on screen, after her appearance in "The Mandalorian" Season 2. The full trailer from last month is incredible - looks like it's going be awesome. She's not the only character featured - others including Sabine, Hera, Thrawn, and the droid Chopper are also in this. Rosario Dawson stars as Ahsoka, a former Jedi Padawan, who was once Anakin's apprentice. Savannah Steyn plays a young Ahsoka. The series also stars Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine, Hayden Christensen as Anakin, Eman Esfandi, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera, Ivanna Sakhno, and Ray Stevenson (Rip). I'm 100% sold on this already - don't even need to see any more new footage!

"I've spent most of my life fighting a war... that's why I'm trying to convince you to prevent another one." This looks Amazing!! Whoa. Disney & Lucasfilm have unveiled the full-length main trailer for the Ahsoka series. This live-action spin off takes the character first created for the animated The Clone Wars series and brings her to life on screen, continuing with her first appearance in "The Mandalorian" Season 2. She's not the only character featured - others including Sabine, Hera, Thrawn, and the droid Chopper are also in this. And apparently Anakin Skywalker himself will show up. Rosario Dawson stars as Ahsoka Tano, a former Jedi Padawan, who was once Anakin's apprentice. Savannah Steyn plays a younger Ahsoka. Along with Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine, Hayden Christensen as Anakin, Eman Esfandi, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera, Ivanna Sakhno, and Ray Stevenson (Rip). "Perhaps it is time to begin again..." Disney has unveiled a quick new featurette for the upcoming Ahsoka series in the Star Wars universe. This live-action spin off takes the character first created for the animated The Clone Wars series and brings her to life on screen to explore the depth of her story, continuing with her first live appearance in "The Mandalorian" Season 2 (in "Chapter 13: The Jedi"). Rosario Dawson stars as Ahsoka Tano, a former Jedi Padawan, who was once Anakin Skywalker's apprentice. Savannah Steyn will play a younger Ahsoka. The full cast also includes Natasha Liu Bordizzo, Hayden Christensen, Eman Esfandi, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Ivanna Sakhno, and Ray Stevenson. Time jumps in television shows can be difficult to navigate, especially when recasting actors. In the case of "House of the Dragon," Milly Alcock and Emily Carey both gave fantastic performances as Rhaenyra Targaryen and Alicent Hightower respectively, so saying goodbye to these two actors hasn't been easy for viewers. The show is well-written, but it's fair to say that Alcock and Carey are the reason we've all come to care so much about these two young women over the past five episodes. The show's sixth installment, "The Princess and the Queen," reintroduced us to these characters 10 years later, and while they do bear a rather striking resemblance to their teenage counterparts, they are now played by different actors.
Emma D'Arcy and Olivia Cooke have moved into the roles of Rhaenyra and Alicent, who weren't the only younger characters to be recast. Siblings Laenor and Laena Velaryon are played by new performers as well.

As previously reported by Monsters and Critics, Episode 6 of House of the Dragon will significantly age up some of its characters.
So far, the episodes leading up to Episode 6 have been a prequel to the prequel series, of sorts, giving viewers valuable backstory that detailed why there was a power struggle for the Iron Throne.
By the end of Episode 1, King Viserys Targaryen (Paddy Considine) had already broken tradition and made his daughter the heir to the Iron Throne and this already has certain players in the game scheming to make sure this doesn’t happen.
Episode 5 then saw the set-up for a feud between Princess Rhaenyra (Milly Alcock) and her stepmother, Alicent Hightower (Emily Carey), which will definitely shape what is to come.

Episode 5 of House of the Dragon saw the wedding between Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen (Milly Alcock) and Ser Laenor Velaryon (Theo Nate).
Rhaenyra’s uncle, Prince Daemon (Matt Smith), also turned up unexpectedly, and it appears that things between him and his niece are still incredibly steamy.
Once King Viserys (Paddy Considine) saw this, he fast-forwarded the wedding, particularly more so after Ser Criston Cole (Fabien Frankel) killed Laenor’s boyfriend, Ser Joffrey Lonmouth (Solly McLeod).
At the end of the episode, Viserys collapsed, and his life now hangs in the balance. This means that viewers are eager to find out what happens next in HBO’s new epic fantasy series.
Episode 6 will see a significant time jump from the end of Episode 5, revealing Viserys’ fate, and will also introduce new actors for two well-loved characters.

HBO’s House of the Dragon season one episode five featured its own mini version of the Red Wedding. House of the Dragon is a bonafide hit for HBO.
The ratings are in for House of the Dragon Season 1 Episode 2, and the series experienced some growth.
One week after launching as the most-watched HBO series premiere ever, the Game of Thrones spinoff spiked 2 to 10.2 million viewers on Sunday night.
These numbers are for U.S. only, and the numbers are expected to be much higher as the weeks go on.
House of the Dragon Season 1 Episode 1, which logged 9.98 million viewers earlier this month on its first night of release, is now approaching 25 million viewers in the U.S. alone.
HBO notes, however, that these numbers are based on a HBO Max and linear telecasts, based on a combination of Nielsen and first party data.
Given that many shows typically drop in the vicinity of 10 to 15 in their second weeks, this is a huge vote of confidence in the franchise.

“House of the Dragon” is coming in hot at HBO, netting an early Season 2 renewal less than a week after its series premiere.
The second-season pickup comes as little a surprise, given HBO’s financial investment in the show, as well as the fact that the premiere shattered HBO’s record for the biggest premiere audience for a new show ever. Nearly 10 million people tuned in across all platforms this past Sunday, with HBO now claiming that number has risen to 20 million after four days of playback.

The much-anticipated Game of Thrones prequel House of the Dragon premiered on HBO Max with some hiccups for some subscribers. As the first episode was launched online, some users reported the app crashing which prompted them to seek help.
It is not known how widespread the issue has been as other users tweeted seeing the premiere episode available about three minutes before the 9 p.m. Et scheduled release. However, the @HBOMaxHelp Twitter account was experiencing a lot of traffic as subscribers tried to stream House of Dragon.
One user, in particular, said that they were getting a “title not available” error message, which customer service said they would “love to help to get this figured out.” Another user didn’t seem amused that the app “would crash” and HBOMaxHelp advised to “try closing the app and restarting to see if this helps.”

“This was the planets aligning,” says House of the Dragon co-creator Ryan J. Condal about teaming with Game of Thrones EP and director Miguel Sapochnik on the new George R.R. Martin HBO spinoff series. Condal and Sapochnik had previously developed a number of projects together before House of the Dragon.
You can listen to our intriguing conversation with the House of the Dragon EPs here:
Condal got to know Martin nine years ago when he was shooting his NBC supernatural western pilot The Sixth Gun in the author’s backyard of Santa Fe, Nm. He told his agents he was taking Martin to dinner in what he says was “light fan-stalking” and to “pick his brain.” At the time, Martin didn’t have Fire & Blood, the Targaryen history book, under his belt; that tome the source material for House of the Dragon.
