Trace De La Torre is an Executive and award-winning multi-media Producer known for her work in "Bezos: The Beginning" (2023), the first-ever Biopic on Amazon tycoon Jeff Bezos, directed by Khoa Le; suspense horror thriller "Craving" (2023) directed by J. Horton as well as "D-Railed" (2018) and "Lullaby" (2017), both directed by Dale Fabrigar, with the latter written by prolific Penguin Random House horror author, Marc Paoletti.
With a diverse background in the entertainment industry, Trace began her career at Warner Bros. Studios, contributing to iconic film properties such as "The Matrix," "Harry Potter," and "The Lord of the Rings." Her journey continued at Warner Bros. Television, where she contributed to the success of shows like "Two-and-a-Half Men" and "The Big Bang Theory" among others.
After 10 years with the studio, Trace accepted a career-changing, London-based opportunity at Velica Comics created by American illustrator Ken Johnson. Published as "Velica Digital Comics" with distribution via iTunes/Amazon, "Velica" is a gritty female vigilante Comic Book series akin to the films "Sin City" (2005) starring Bruce Willis, and "The Spirit" (2008) starring Gabriel Macht.
As Vice-President of Sales Marketing, Trace successfully negotiated limited distribution of "Velica" #3 and #4, issues specifically. Coupled with two sold-out printings each, "Velica" graced the shelves of some of the most iconic Comic Book Houses in London such as GOTCHA! Orbital, Mega City, the now-defunct Comicana, and Forbidden Planet.
Venturing into independent production, Trace founded Trace Entertainment (2012), a production company encompassing Art, Film, E-Publishing, Comics, and AR/VR content. In 2023, Trace Entertainment was rebranded into Trace Media, LLC.
By 2013 in association with Orange Mangrove Publishing UK, Trace published four Paranormal Romance Novellas via Amazon. Written by British author James D. Layton, these Novellas include "Letters to an Angel", "Sisters of Absinthe: The Velveteen Girl", "Sisters of Absinthe: Jack Sutherland", and "Sisters of Absinthe: The Green Lamp".
In 2016, with the help of a phenomenal crew of talented filmmakers from the Inland Empire, Wild7 Studios, Trace wrote, directed, and produced her first short horror film, "Luna", a neo-noir vampire origins thriller inspired by true events. Long in gestation, it was finally completed on September 18, 2022. A future release date is to be announced.
In July 2017, continuing her commitment to impactful storytelling, Trace served as Executive Producer on AT&T/Warner SHAPE film competition finalist, "The Protégé" from filmmaker Lovie Johnson. "The Protégé" is a poignant outreach film addressing issues of violence against women, child abuse, and human trafficking. It has earned recognition within the industry and numerous awards.
Trace's venture into film production also includes the acclaimed short horror film "Lullaby" (2017), which won multiple awards and was an Official Selection at the Bentonville Film Festival (BIFF). Founded by Academy Award-winning actress Geena Davis, The BIFF Institute is the only global research-based organization working collectively within the industry to create gender balance, foster inclusion, and reduce negative stereotyping in entertainment media. Geena Davis also chairs BIFF together with Trevor Drinkwater -- Trace's former Warner Bros. colleague.
Her collaboration with Dale Fabrigar extended to the feature film "D-Railed," a suspense thriller from esteemed industry producer Suzanne DeLaurentiis. It screened in Los Angeles on September 30th, and Philadelphia on October 7th, making the rounds at the 2018 American Film Market in Santa Monica. It was an Official Selection of the 2018 New York City Horror Film Festival and had its Red Carpet release on December 1st at The Tribeca Film Center in Manhattan. It was released on multiple streaming platforms and Retail Direct on August 6, 2019. To date, "D-Railed" has earned over 100 film awards and nominations.
Trace expanded her portfolio with projects like the psychological thriller "Todd" and the action film "Prey of Wrath," showcasing her dedication to diverse narratives and empowering roles for women in film.
"In June 2019, Trace started production on "Todd" in Orlando, Florida. Starring Hans Hernke "Attack of the Unknown" (2020), and iconic 80s Actor/Comedian Michael Winslow "Police Academy" (1984-1994), "Spaceballs" (1987), "Todd" is a disturbing journey into the mind of a man dominated by his inner demons.
Completed in August 2019 and released by Bayview Entertainment for U.S. streaming on March 16, 2021, "Todd" was an Official Selection at the Horror Lust Film Festival, and Popcorn International Film Festival, and made the rounds at various film festivals. On April 19, 2021, "Todd" began stalking screens across the United Kingdom on DVD and VOD.
In November 2019, Trace teamed up with Indonesian action film director Benny Tjandra and Japanese writer/director Doug Tochioka as Executive Producer on the female-led Action film, "Prey of Wrath" -- formerly "Lady Spetsnaz".
Inspired by Lyudmilla Pavilchenko, the world's deadliest female sniper, the film stars rising Russian actress Tatiana Neva, Russian Actor and Martial Artist Gray Michael Sallies, with Martial Arts icon Cynthia Rothrock.
Renowned as "The Dragon Lady" within the wide Martial Arts community, credited with 30+ films and a worldwide following, Cynthia Rothrock is the first woman to be inducted into the prestigious International Sports Hall of Fame by Arnold Schwarzenegger and Dr. Robert Goldman. Also inducted into the prestigious Black Belt Hall of Fame along with Bruce Lee and Chuck Norris, she became the first woman to grace the cover of Karate Illustrated.

"The Hunt: Savage Within" is an ambitious, high-octane, edge-of-your-seat action thrill ride through the eerie woods of Northern California where a female Park Ranger and her formidable troop become ensnared in epic combat against an unearthly threat.
Completed in Santa Cruz, California in January 2021, "The Hunt: Savage Within" had its Red Carpet release on Friday, August 13, 2021, at Raleigh Studios Hollywood.
