Former Michigan Rep. Mike Rogers (R), the leading candidate for the Michigan Republican nomination for the U.S. Senate, was revealed to be a registered voter in Florida.
Rogers represented Michigan’s eighth congressional district from 2001 to 2015. As a native of the state, he hopes to once again represent Michigan in Congress.
“I’m proud to be born and raised right here in Michigan,” he wrote in an X post. “And I will be proud to serve my home in the U.S. Senate.”
The tweet caused Austin Cook, the communications director for Democratic U.S. Senate candidate and Rogers’ rival, Rep. Elissa Slotkin (D-Michigan), to post a screenshot of the former representative’s voter registration record.
The record shows a Florida Zip code and that he has “active” voter status in Cape Coral, Florida.
It also shows that he registered to vote in Florida on January 24, 2022.

‘Captain America: Brave New World’ is the fourth installment in the MCU’s ‘Captain America’ series. Even though Steve Rogers retired from the MCU on a high note, the story continues with Sam Wilson taking up the shield.
This change has split the fandom—some fans are upset and puzzled by the decision to have the former Falcon become Captain America, especially since Wilson doesn’t have superpowers like Rogers did.
Julius Onah, director of the upcoming superhero film, has a unique perspective on the matter. He believes that the absence of superpowers is what makes Wilson’s Captain America particularly thrilling. The idea that he’s vulnerable and can be injured will lead to some incredibly dynamic action scenes. Onah shared his thoughts in the latest issue of Empire’s ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’.

Fred Astaire was an Oscar-nominated song and dance man best remembered for a series of musicals he made alongside many female dancer, but especially Ginger Rogers. Yet his filmography extends well past those titles. Let’s take a look back at 20 of his greatest films, ranked worst to best.
As a dancer, Astaire was known for his perfectionism, doing multiple takes to get the most precise movements correct. His immaculate steps were matched only by his outfits, which often consisted of top hats and coats.
After making a name for himself on the stage in London and on Broadway, Astaire came to Hollywood. He first appeared with fellow dancer Rogers in “Flying Down to Rio” (1933), where they played second fiddle to Dolores del Rio and Gene Raymond. Their first starring vehicle came just one year later: “The Gay Divorcee” (1934).
Their subsequent films, including “Top Hat” (1935), “Follow the Fleet” (1936), “Swing Time...

John Leguizamo has portrayed a wide range of characters in his career, from comic book villains to Shakespearean legends to drag queens. Despite his versatility, fans have never seen him as dark and unsettling as he is in the new TV series “The Green Veil.”
His portrayal of the 1950s FBI agent Gordon Rogers was already rattling audiences after the premiere of the first four episodes of the new drama at Variety‘s TV FYC Screening Series on April 26 in West Hollywood. Following the screening, one fan revealed that it was difficult to witness Leguizamo’s character inflict trauma after trauma and asked how he managed to act out the scripted atrocities.
“I don’t need people to like me in this role,” Leguizamo responded. “That’s not what I want. I want it to be understood, understood how a person becomes this vile and twisted.” This powerful performance set...

Chris Evans first played Steve Rogers in 2011's Captain America: The First Avenger and, after multiple appearances across the MCU (including in the Avengers and Spider-Man franchises), the actor finally bid farewell to the role in Avengers: Endgame.
Steve has been M.I.A. ever since, though his final fate still hasn't been revealed to us. However, with the Multiverse in play, there are endless possibilities regarding Captain America's return in Avengers: Secret Wars.
Over the weekend, it was reported that Evans is now a lock for that movie. While we anticipate him assembling alongside the other original six Avengers as the "classic" Cap, we'd bet on the actor playing a few different Variants as well.
Below, you'll find some of the most exciting, intriguing, and likely possibilities...

Chris Evans played the role of Steve Rogers a.k.a Captain America in the MCU. For almost a decade, the actor entertained fans with his unrelenting optimism and good-old heroism in films such as Captain America: The First Avengers, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame. The actor departed from the role after the end of his character arc in Endgame.
While fans want Evans to return to his role for the upcoming Avengers 5, the actor seems to be done with the character for a while. However, he did not rule out the possibility of returning to the MCU as a whole, as he expressed his desire to play Johnny Storm again. The actor had previously played the role in Fox’s Fantastic Four, which starred Jessica Alba.

After 21 years, one of Disney’s most bizarre yet memorable comedies is getting a sequel. The 2003 version of Freaky Friday, starring Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan, is getting a long-awaited follow-up. It was announced last year that the pair were hoping to reunite for another go, and now the film is entering pre-production with Nisha Ganatra (Director of Welcome to Chippendales) set to direct.

Wheel of Fortune is again under attack for its inconsistent rules, with some viewers accusing Pat Sajak of giving one contestant way too much leeway on Thursday’s (March 28) episode. Marissa Rogers, a keen baker from Loveland, Colorado, was the contestant under the spotlight. During the episode’s opening $1,000 Toss-Up puzzle, the three players faced a three-word puzzle under the “On The Map” category. Rogers buzzed in first and answered what many fans heard as “Everglade National Park,” missing the “S” off the end of Everglades. Despite this slight mispronunciation, Sajak quickly replied, “That is correct.” The long-time host even told Rogers, “Lovely enunciation and everything.” However, viewers at home weren’t so quick to let Rogers off the hook, taking to social media to share their reactions. “This lady on #wheeloffortune just said “Everglade National Park” and got credit for the puzzle. Zach Bryan has never hidden his deep love for Bruce Springsteen, so there was no reason to think he was sending any hidden message when he used “Johnny 99” as his walk-on music Wednesday night in Brooklyn at Barclays Center, or even when he came onstage in a Springsteen tour T-shirt with the sleeves cut off. But when Bryan started his two-song encore with the chords of his as-yet-unreleased song “Sandpaper,” Springsteen himself strolled onto the stage without warning.

During a 2020 interview with Vulture, producer Evan Rodgers recalled watching the “Only Girl (In the World)” singer audition for him while she was still part of a girl group. “My wife’s goddaughter asked if the girl group could come by our villa,” he said. “Rihanna was the last one to show up, she was late.

Avengers: Endgame was one of the most culturally significant films of all time. It was the perfect example of Marvel at its finest, with some of the loudest theaters that had fans feeling an entire range of emotions. However, sadness was the one most felt by fans, who could not believe that they were seeing the legendary Tony Stark die in front of their eyes.
Josh Brolin’s Thanos in Avengers: Endgame
It would not be too far-fetched to say that the film traumatized many fans. However, it would seem that there was an earlier version of the movie which would have been a lot darker, one where Chris Evans’ Captain America gets decapitated.
A Draft Of Avengers: Endgame Took On A Different Tone
Avengers: Endgame had some of the most iconic scenes in the entire MCU. From the jokes to character interactions, fight sequences, and not to mention, the portal scene.

There are some key differences between the Dalton of Rowdy Herrington’s 1989 cult classic Road House and the Dalton of Doug Liman’s equally boisterous remake. To start, the stoic bouncer’s first name is now Elwood instead of John. He rolls into town — the Florida Keys, not Kansas City — on a Greyhound bus instead of in a new car. This Dalton walks everywhere, wearing down the soles of his cigar brown combat boots with each mile. His swagger is enhanced by a mellow kindness — at one point, a character compares him to Mr. Rogers (with a violent edge, of course).
What hasn’t changed all that much are Dalton’s motivations and his notoriety. When we meet the infamous man, played here with compelling restraint by Jake Gyllenhaal, his face is shrouded by his black hoodie. He saunters into an underground fight club with a menacing determination. The camera trails him,...

Director Doug Liman has always understood the power of a leading man maximized to his fullest potential. He saw the action hero beneath Matt Damon's baby fat with "The Bourne Identity" and the untapped comedic possibilities of an unshackled Tom Cruise in "Edge of Tomorrow." Now, with "Road House," his remake of the 1989 action classic of the same name, exquisite use is made of Jake Gyllenhaal, who is ferocious and ferociously funny, allowing menace and humor to lurk beneath the actor's disconcertingly chiseled frame. Gyllenhaal is an actor with boyish good looks, but eyes capable of portraying an infinite black hole of moral degradation. His take on Dalton, a desperate ex-UFC fighter who finds himself yanked into action to defend a bar from crooks in Key West, Florida, is Mr. Rogers biding his time until he turns into the Hulk. It's a hell of a performance from one hell of an actor.

Maggie Rogers has announced her third album, Don’t Forget Me, which will be released on April 12th via Capitol Records. The title track, which doubles as the lead single, is out today alongside a music video filmed in Super 8. Check it out below.
Rogers wrote Don’t Forget Me over the course of five days in late 2022, early 2023. Her sole collaborator on the project was Ian Fitchuk, who co-wrote eight of the album’s 10 songs and also played the majority of the instruments and served as its co-producer alongside Rogers.

The 1989 film Road House gets transported from Missouri to Florida in the first official trailer for Prime Video’s Road House. In place of Patrick Swayze’s James Dalton, Jake Gyllenhaal leads the film as Edward Dalton, an ex-UFC fighter helping to keep rowdy clientele at a Florida Keys roadhouse in check.

Jake Gyllenhaal is the Mr. Rogers of bar brawls in the first look at Doug Liman’s updated take on the Patrick Swayze and Sam Elliott 1989 classic, Road House.
In the trailer, which is nearly two and a half minutes of nonstop knockouts, Gyllenhaal leads as Elwood Dalton, an ex-UFC middleweight fighter who takes one too many hits, and it’s not clear he can — or wants to — get back up. He’s living out of his beat-up car and participating in underground fighting rings when he’s found by Jessica Williams’ bar owner, who invites him to come work for her.
“A friend of mine suggested I come talk to you. I own a roadhouse out in the Florida Keys. Lately it’s been attracting the wrong clientele,” she tells him. “I can pay you good money. Judging by your car, you need that shit.”

Until this year, "Road House" was one of a handful of '80s action classics that hadn't gotten the reboot treatment, but a new movie starring Jake Gyllenhaal is about to change that. "Road House" 2.0 hits Prime Video in March, but fans can get a taste of the new movie's action now thanks to its just-released first trailer. Can Gyllenhaal match Patrick Swayze's sense of swagger, or will he blaze his own trail as a different version of the cool and collected bouncer who made the original an unlikely hit?
It's hard to tell from this initial two and a half minute first look whether or not this reboot will justify its own existence, but at first blush, the movie certainly seems to have a lot going for it. "The Bourne Identity" and "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" director Doug Liman is behind the camera here for the first time...

Fanatic Feed: Razzie Nominations Revealed, Constellation, Ripley, Apples Never Fall All Get Trailers
It's a big day for highly anticipated new streaming series, two of which just released their first trailers.
First, we have Constellation, the AppleTV sci-fi thriller starring Noomi Rapace and Jonathan Banks.
Rapace plays an astronaut who returns to Earth after a stint on a space station and finds that her life has changed in a number of small, subtle ways.
In his best world-weary "go home, Walter" voice, Banks explains that astronauts have a tendency to become "unstuck" after spending too much time in space.
What does that mean, exactly?
Well, we guess we'll have to watch the spacy drama unfold to find out!
It's tough to discern much about the plot from the trailer, but it looks like the series will enter supernatural horror territory as it progresses.
There's some weirdness involving Rapace's daughter, and the trailer delivers some genuinely spine-tingling creepy kid moments.

"Tokyo Vice" wasn't the buzziest show of 2022, but those who took the plunge into the Japanese underworld alongside Ansel Elgort's dangerously curious American journalist were treated to a thrilling, narratively complex crime drama that left us gasping with a killer cliffhanger.
Thankfully, the decision-makers at what we now call Max opted to give the executive producer Michael Mann's series a second season, and, judging from the just-released trailer, the stakes are getting raised sky-high for Elgort's Jake Adelstein, Ken Watanabe's organized crime detective Hiroto Katagiri, and, oh hell yeah, Show Kasamatsu's yakuza muscle Sato.
That's right. Sato survived that seemingly fatal stabbing from Gen (Nobushige Suematsu). An internal mob war seems all but likely, and that's not taking into account the yakuza's ongoing conflict with Tokyo law enforcement. Everyone's life is in jeopardy, including Jake's. Let's take a look at what series creator and showrunner J.T. Rogers has in store.

A production assistant who worked on the Max original series “Search Party” has accused showrunner Charles Rogers of drugging and sexually assaulting him in 2020.
A past investigation by the network into the alleged assault cleared Rogers, but Evan Schwartz said he was “gaslit” into “exonerating” the writer-producer in social media posts shared on Saturday.
“The facts speak for themselves as evidenced by this individual’s decision to retract his own statement amid a thorough, third-party investigation which found no wrongdoing. Charles unequivocally denies this claim regarding a mutually consensual relationship,” an individual close to Rogers said in a statement to TheWrap.
This is a selfie Charles Rogers took on my phone the morning after sexually assaulting me in 2020. I was his driver on the shoot for Search Party. After he took this selfie he joked, “I have a lawyer in case someone me too’s me”. I don’t remember falling asleep that night.

John Wick: Chapter 4 is a masterclass in action cinema. Despite being nearly three hours long, the action extravaganza maintains momentum by letting the audience breathe between intense set pieces as we follow Keanu Reeves’ John Wick fighting for survival yet again. But it is the French-set action set pieces that electrify the last third of the movie in incredible ways, and were my focus of conversation with stunt coordinator and second-unit director Scott Rogers.
With the film earning much-deserved acclaim in year-end consideration, I caught up with Rogers to discuss what his role is in layman’s terms, how they shot the Arc de Triomphe sequence, the experience of working with Keanu Reeves, and whether he sees a future in directing.
The Film Stage: How are you today?
Scott Rogers: I’m great. How are you?
I can’t complain. I got to watch John Wick 4 again last night.

There is a famous quote that says to get the full value of joy, you must have someone to divide it with - and three Wta players have most certainly lived by these words during the close season.
This past weekend, Shelby Rogers became a newlywed after exchanging vows with her long-time boyfriend John Slavik - a lower-level hockey player. The newlyweds first met on a blind date organized by friends three years ago and got engaged this year at Rogers' home tournament in Charleston.
The 31-year-old American has been out of action since a first-round defeat to Elena Rybakina at Wimbledon. Rogers had been dealing with muscle injuries for quite some time and posted photos of herself in a hospital bed in the aftermath of his defeat to the Kazakh.
Thankfully for Rogers, she was out of rehab soon after, although she never played again in the second half of the season.

Seth Meyers has revealed that a potential movie about Bill Hader’s fan-favorite Saturday Night Live persona Stefon never got made.
During a recent appearance on the Las Culturistas podcast, he told hosts Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers that “there was a moment in time where the idea of a ‘Stefon’ script was being discussed.”
He added, “This was not a scene that was written, but I did have a pitch for myself and Stefon, because I knew it was going to be Stefon and James Franco, or whatever, whoever. It wasn’t going to be me and Stefon.”
