Raz, born in Ankara, Turkey, began his acting journey at a young age. At 18, he moved to Italy, where he encountered his first acting mentor, Michael Rodgers, whose encouragement solidified Raz's decision to pursue acting full-time. In 2017, Raz relocated to New York City to attend the three-year conservatory program at the esteemed Stella Adler Studio of Acting.
During his time at Stella Adler, Raz immersed himself in portraying a variety of complex characters, including Macbeth and Babbybobby in "The Cripple of Inishmaan." Following graduation, Raz appeared in several short films that went to respected festivals and off-off Broadway productions. His career gained momentum with appearances on NBC's "New Amsterdam" and InterAct Theater's "Selling Kabul", where he portrayed Taroon.
With a diverse and rich cultural background from living in Turkey, Italy, and the United States, Raz brings a unique perspective to his roles.
