Match #1: Queen of the Ring Quarterfinal Match – Bianca Belair def. Tiffany Stratton The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
The Est took on The Center of the Universe in a magnificent showdown for the chance to move on in the Queen of the Ring Tournament. Bianca Belair seemed to have tweaked her knee in the early going but found the resolve to fight through the pain. Stratton locked on to Belair’s injured knee, using The Est’s braids to take Belair down before sending her crashing knee first into the ring steps. Belair tried for the Kod but Stratton was able to evade it as Belair’s knees gave out. Stratton used her wits to her advantage, distracting the...

WWE is preparing for its next pay-per-view with King and Queen of the Ring around the corner. Ahead of the pay-per-view towards the end of May 2024, WWE has started a promotional campaign that is now in full swing. The wrestling company recently released a poster for the event, featuring some of its top superstars.
A promotional image for WWE’s King and Queen of the Ring 2024.
However, when the poster made its way online, fans could not help but notice the similarities between it and Chadwick Boseman’s Black Panther poster. As a result, fans quickly took to social media to accuse WWE of directly ripping off the Marvel film’s poster. Despite fan accusations, this isn’t the first time WWE has taken direct inspiration from movies. Here is what fans had to say about the King and Queen of the Ring poster online.

Match #1: Street Fight – Solo Sikoa & Tama Tonga def. Randy Orton & Kevin Owens The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Before the match could even begin, all four Superstars engaged in a massive melee with WWE officials, including SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis, who was attempting to break up the brawl. A fed up Aldis decided to forgo the original tag team rules, turning the bout into a Street Fight. The chaos only heightened with the introduction of weapons including Kendo sticks, trash cans, tables and even the Prime hydration station being used as instruments of destruction. Both teams traded blows with Owens splashing Tonga through a table while Sikoa nearly simultaneously put Orton through a table with a Samoan Drop.

Tiffany Stratton is used to being the center of the universe and has taken that line of thinking from Nxt to WWE’s main roster. The blonde bombshell officially joined SmackDown earlier this year following the Royal Rumble. It didn’t take long for the former gymnast to turn heads. A breakout moment for her was an impressive showing in February’s Elimination Chamber match in Perth, Australia. She has acclimated well, ruffling the feathers of top performers like Bianca Belair and Naomi. With the WWE Draft looming, Stratton looks ready to continue her ascension no matter what brand she might land. We sat down with the “Buff Barbie,” who opened up about life on the road. What has been the biggest adjustment with your transition to the main roster? Tiffany Stratton: I would definitely say travel would be the number one, craziest, hardest thing to adapt to. You’re traveling every week,...

The grit, the gory, and the glory are more than enough to launch anyone into a full-blown panic attack mode in the wrestling world, and the Australian professional wrestler and current Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley was no exception to this. WrestleMania 40’s night one in Philadelphia was a spectacle of high-octane wrestling that lived up to the grandeur expected of such a storied event. The evening was headlined by a tag team match featuring Roman Reigns and The Rock against Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins, which delivered an electrifying performance, setting a dramatic tone for the rest Wrestlemania weekend! The stakes were incredibly high, with the outcome influencing the main event of night two, adding a layer of strategic depth to the match. Roman Reigns and The Rock took the win and if Cody Rhodes is going to “finish the story” he will be playing now by the Bloodline’s rules for night two!

Welcome to this review of WWE’s Elimination Chamber Pay Per View, right here on Nerdly. In a change to the typical show, this year’s PPV emanated from Perth in Australia… We’ve got a huge card filled with matches that will directly affect this year’s Wrestlemania; so let’s get into it!
Match #1: WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship – The Kabuki Warriors def. Candice LeRae & Indi Hartwell The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Competing in her home country, Indi Hartwell needed to calm her nerves in an incredible atmosphere in Perth, Western Australia. Although Damage Ctrl recently ejected Bayley from its ranks, Women’s Tag Team Champions The Kabuki Warriors were primed to go it alone against Hartwell and Candice LeRae, former Nxt Women’s Tag Team Champions. Asuka and Kairi Sane stuck with their apparent game plan of isolating LeRae from Hartwell, drawing the ire from the Australian faithful.

Match #1: Tiffany Stratton def. Liv Morgan The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Seconds after driving Liv Morgan into the SmackDown announce table, Tiffany Stratton disrespected Bianca Belair with a slap as The Est of WWE was watching the match at ringside. The irate Belair climbed up to the apron, only to inadvertently delay the official’s ability to count Morgan’s pin attempt. When Stratton kicked out, Morgan’s momentum caused her to accidentally knock Belair off the apron, allowing Tiffany to roll up Liv for an enormous win prior to her Elimination Chamber Match against Morgan, Belair, Becky Lynch, Naomi and Raquel Rodriguez.
My Score: 3 out of 5 Match #2: Bron Breakker def. Dante Chen The following is courtesy of wwe.

The release date for WWE 2K24 is getting closer, and fans have been waiting to get their hands on it. The upcoming title will also include a 40 Years of WrestleMania edition, so fans can look forward to reliving some iconic matches. The roster for the game is also looking good, with several returning characters joined by a few surprise entries.
Among them, however, fans have noticed the absence of one superstar, leading to a lot of confusion, especially as the Showcase mode is filled with former WWE legends, so missing out on this particular superstar makes little to no sense, but that could still change before the game is out.
WWE 2K24 Showcase Matches Could Still Feature This Superstar

It has been a busy week for the WWE. Not only did the company announce a major move that will see its flagship weekly show move to Netflix in 2025, but the company’s founder Vince McMahon also found himself at the center of yet another controversy that led to his exit from the company. However, on Saturday, Jan. 27, neither of those stories will matter as the WWE superstars will compete in one of the most beloved matches of each and every year, the Royal Rumble. You will not want to miss any of the action when it kicks off on Peacock at 8 p.m. Et. Longtime WWE advertising partner Slim Jim has paused its sponsorship with the wrestling promotion following “disturbing allegations” unveiled in a lawsuit Thursday against WWE founder and board chair Vince McMahon. The announcement comes ahead of this Saturday’s Royal Rumble, one of WWE’s biggest events of the year.
“Slim Jim values integrity and respect in all of our partnerships. Given the recent disturbing allegations against Vince McMahon, at this time we’ve decided to pause our promotional activities with WWE,” the company said in a statement. “This decision reflects our commitment to our brand values and responsibility to our community.”
They added that they “will continue to monitor the situation and base our future engagements on our values and what’s best for our brand.”
The current Slim Jim sponsorship was touted by the companies as the “largest sponsorship deal in WWE history” last August, kicking off with sponsorship around the SummerSlam event.

My Score: 2.5 out of 5 Match #2: Santos Escobar def. Joaquin Wilde The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Though Joaquin Wilde was looking for retribution for the vicious attack on WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio, Santos Escobar drove his former Lwo cohort into the canvas for the three-count. When Escobar attacked Wilde after the bell, however, Dragon Lee charged to the ring to make the save with a beatdown.

Welcome to this review of 2023’s Survivor Series, which delivers yet another WarGames pay-per-view following last year’s debut. Hopefully this year’s PPV lives up to the standard set by last year’s show! Let’s see shall we…
Match #1: Women’s WarGames Match – Bianca Belair, Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch & Shotzi def. Damage Ctrl The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Despite the palpable tension between teammates Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair heading into this fierce contest, their undeniable chemistry proved to be too much for the new and improved Damage Ctrl. Presenting themselves a unified front, Damage Ctrl entered the arena, adorn in masks, leaving Bayley remove her mask and face The Man as the first two competitors. After Lynch’s team won the Ruffles WarGames Advantage poll, Shotzi entered third and brought her unhinged energy — as well as some chairs and trash cans to take out The Role Model.

Welcome to this review of this past Friday’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown, right here on Nerdly. Let’s see what went down on this week’s episode!
Match #1: Bobby Lashley def. Carlito The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Carlito stepped back into the ring to combat Bobby Lashley in his first singles match since his return. Carlito and Lashley squared off for the first time ever, despite their Ruthless Aggression history. Moments before the match, Carlito levied accusations toward Santos Escobar, making this match much more charged. Carlito came out swinging, even lifting The All Mighty to hit an all mighty suplex. Unfortunately for Carlito, the numbers game was too much with Montez Ford getting a cheap shot on Carlito, leading to a Spear for an All Mighty win.
My Score: 2 out of 5 Match #2: Dragon Lee def. Cedric Alexander The following is courtesy of wwe.

Welcome to this review of WWE Crown Jewel 2022, right here on Nerdly… The controversy over this event seems to die down with each and every event passing and I’m not sure how I feel about that. Anyway, let’s see what happened during this year’s show, which opened off with Sami Zayn defeating Jd McDonagh in a kickoff match!
Match #1: WWE World Heavyweight Championship – Seth “Freakin” Rollins def. Drew McIntyre The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
The WWE World Heavyweight Title remains with Seth “Freakin” Rollins but not before an absolute war with Drew McIntyre. The Scottish Warrior looked poise to destroy and dethrone Rollins, and after a plethora of Pedigrees, stomps, and Claymores, the champion dug deep and put his most dangerous challenger down for the count by ducking a Claymore and connecting with another Pedigree and a second ring-rattling stomp. After the bout, Damian Priest...

Match #1: Kevin Owens def. Austin Theory The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
After Kevin Owens took down Austin Theory and Grayson Waller with one punch last week in the backstage area, Ko went one-on-one with The 150-Million Hit Man looking for more. The hard-fought showdown ended with Owens countering a superplex with a beautiful fisherman buster off the ropes before finishing his outspoken opponent with a Pop-up Powerbomb/Stunner combination.
My Score: 2.5 out of 5 Match #2: Charlotte Flair & Shotzi def. Piper Niven & Chelsea Green The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Last week on SmackDown LowDown, WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Chelsea Green and Piper Niven challenged Shotzi to find a tag team partner. In response, the unorthodox...
