Fortnite released the v29.20 patch a few days back, bringing good and bad news about the in-game cosmetics. As seen with previous updates, Epic Games has removed rarity backgrounds, forcing players to sort out their owned skins manually. Fans are highly disappointed while also being rather confused about the state of it all.
Fans have been posting their concerns and frustrations on X and they’re discussing the massive changes with fellow Fortnite fans on Reddit. Players are also facing more bugs with the redesigned Ui which some claim is missing several core features and looks far more bland, frustrating fans.

When the news came that Power Book II: Ghost was ending, I'll admit it floored me.
Since the ending of the original Power, the continued universe has seen much success. Still, being the first and a direct continuation of the original, Power Ghost has probably amassed the greatest popularity.
But they say all good things must come to an end, and the end of Ghost has me wondering what happens next for the longstanding franchise.
We know that another Power spinoff is coming; this one is a starter story for Ghost and Tommy.
Power Book III: Raising Kanan has proven to be a compelling and worthwhile look into Kanan Stark's upbringing, and considering the franchise's track record, there's no reason to believe the Ghost and Tommy spinoff will be any different.
Everything started with that duo, and it feels like a no-brainer to explore their beginnings and expand things through their backstory.

50 Cent made as big of a splash in the television industry as he did with music thanks to his Power franchise. But the television series he had planned after Power might surprise some fans.
50 Cent had his sights set on making his own superhero show 50 Cent | Axelle/Bauer-Griffin/FilmMagic
50 Cent spent years planning to enter the space of television before finally making his move with Power. The hip-hop mogul teamed with producer Courtney Kemp to bring the series to life, which drew inspiration from his own background. His networking with a well-known Hollywood producer also helped put the wheels in motion for the show.
Power grew to be the Starz network’s flagship show, spawning an entire cinematic universe in its own right. But after the success of Power, 50 Cent considered taking over the world of superheroes as well. According to Entertainment Weekly, he’d even given his new show a title.

We can’t celebrate anime without celebrating the openings and endings that get us invested in these stories. 50 Cent became as successful of a producer as he was a rapper thanks to creating the Power universe. But initially, being a producer proved to be a bit less lucrative than his other business endeavors.

Power has become the Starz network’s biggest program, and has spawned a successful franchise. Since the conclusion of the original, the series has since spun-off into several other popular movies, expanding its lore. 50 Cent originated the idea after his connections got him in a room with television producer Courtney Kemp.
“This project actually started in the Soho House with me and Mark Canton. Mark is an actual producer of 300,” he once told Vibe. “He’s brought you so many hits I can run through a line…Bad Boys, The Bone Collector, Krush Groove, the Prince movies, Purple Rain…...

Sundance film festival: Yance Ford’s follow-up to Oscar-nominated documentary Strong Island is a visually elegant, if a little dry, look at a problematic institution
Power, documentarian Yance Ford’s clinical inquiry into US policing, isn’t trafficking in new information. The 86-minute project billed as an “essay-film”, which premiered at Sundance and will stream on Netflix later this year, has clear eyes on the past, synthesizing the work of several academics with a robust archival record to examine the origins, structure and impact of police power in the United States.
That doesn’t mean it’s unnecessary; the film makes cogent, sweeping sense of the record for perhaps the most illuminative, swift and damning case against the institution of policing – the real fourth estate, as one subject puts it – of the many investigations conducted in the wake of the 2020 Black Lives Matter protests. But there’s a dryness to its procedure.

This past week we lost one of the industry’s best. As Dan Green pulls his chair up to the great drawing board in the sky I look back on an amazing career. For me, Dan Green was probably the first inker I knew the name of. This comes from hunting down my back issues of Wolverine. Marc Silvestri and Adam Kubert were two of my favourites to track down issues of and Green was always the third name in the credits. Perhaps this is doing inkers a discredit. They are like drummers in rock bands in that regard. Essential to creativity but one step behind the limelight. If someone like Joe Sinnott was like the old-school drumming of Ringo Starr, then Green is more akin to the style of John Bonham. In my opinion, he was the first rock star inker.
The journey began for Dan Green in Detroit.

It's been a minute since we've been able to talk about a series in the Power Universe. And it's been a sad, sad time.
Luckily Power Book II: Ghost Season 3 Episode 1 is here to save us from ourselves and get us back into the world we've immersed ourselves in for the past 8-plus years.
And look, the original spinoff will just never go out of style. They've come back cool and confident and entertaining as ever. I'd even venture to say this may be the series' best-ever premiere.
Tariq has come a long way from the kid we met many years ago, coasting around the penthouse and failing miserably to stay out of trouble. He's long since grown up and shed a lot of the immaturity he once had, choosing instead to concentrate on school, so he can get his money and take care of himself and his family.
