Next month, writers Tom King and Phil Hester are teaming up to bring back one of Gotham City’s oldest protectors. No, not Batman. Heck, I’m not even talking about the original Green Lantern and his cabbie sidekick Doiby Dickles.
I mean Slam Bradley, the hard-drinking, hard-talking Pi. Originally a lead character in Detective Comics, Bradley has been a mainstay in Batman’s orbit since the ’30s, and has even headlined several series. He’ll get that chance again as King and Hester make him the lead in Gotham City: Year One.
Working alongside illustrator Eric Gapstur, colorist Jordie Bellaire, and letterer Clayton Cowles, King and Hester tell the origin story of DC’s famously crime-riddled city. At the center of this tale is Bradley, who is on the case of Helen Wayne, a Gotham City heiress who goes missing. Bradley’s investigation will uncover deep corners of rot within the city,...

Exclusive: Blaine Maye (Joe Bell) will topline Tooth Shop Fiasco – A James Lassen Story, the first feature from writer-director David Harari.
Pic centers on James Lassen (May), who has a date with the dentist. And for this good-natured if somewhat clueless slacker/rocker misfit, it’s all downhill from there!
George M. Rush (Sorry To Bother You) is producing the film with Michael Tully (Ping Pong Summer).
Maye found his breakout role, opposite Mark Wahlberg, Connie Britton and Reed Miller, in Solstice Studios’ drama Joe Bell. The actor was also recently a series regular in Eli Roth’s Facebook Watch series, Stereoscope. He can currently be seen opposite Emile Hirsch in the indie feature Son, streaming on Shudder, and will next appear in The Mental State, an indie from director James Camali, starring Bryan Greenberg and Alyssa Sutherland.
Maye is represented by Gersh and Stagecoach Entertainment.

After over a month off (and a Crisis on Infinite Earths cross-over) Batwoman is finally back and dealing with the fallout from the Crisis, which means a few shocking changes to the series! While this episode is a fresh jumping-on point for new viewers, it also added several surprises to regular viewers.
Due to Crisis on Infinite Earths, Kate is now given the title of a “Paragon of Courage” as she was one of a few living souls alive in the galaxy until the Spectre combined all the prior Earths together and in process, all the superheroes are now on the same planet. Yes, it’s convoluted but it was a perfect way to have everyone connected going forward.
Kate is still having issues balancing her personal life and her life...
