Antonio Brasiliano
- Cinematographer
- Camera and Electrical Department
Since 2000, Antonio Brasiliano has been refined his eyes, accumulating experiences in Brazil and abroad and expanding his area of expertise, from photography to audiovisuals. Paulistano, especially honed the work as portraitist, in a constant search to establish relationships with the photographed, in which trust is the impeller to catching expressions beyond the obvious.
The exercise of creating creatives environments for photo essays, with various lights and climates, combined with the desire to explore other languages, naturally led him to the film sets. To the experienced and attentive look was added study and dedication. Thus, since 2010, Antonio also acts as director of photography in advertising campaigns, documentaries, short films and clips. A job that requires accurate perception and engagement with the director to translate what she or he imagines, transforming ideas into scenes.
Opportunities to develop diverse skills came with the multiplicity of performances throughout the career. Antonio was professor of photography in a technical course for four years and is, since 2006, volunteer image editor of Ocas" magazine (publication linked to an NGO that serves people in situations of social vulnerability). He has his own studio and photographs for various publications and fashion catalogs.
Part of his authorial work has already been exposed in major museums and galleries: Reina Sofia Museum, Na Espanha (2014) and Brazilian museums such as Museu de Arte do Rio (2013), MUBE (2012), Galeria Olido (2009), Paço das Artes (2005) e MIS-SP (2005).
