By now, everyone knows that Ezekiel Sims "was in the Amazon with Cassie's (Dakota Johnson) mom when she was researching spiders right before she died," but is that all we really need to know about the man who seems to be a major "Madame Web" villain? The power of an instantly popular meme goes a long way, so even once Sony's new Spider-Man spinoff hits theaters and reveals more about Sims, I'm pretty sure some of us will still remember him as the guy who Witawmmwswrsrbsd (for short).
Outside of his mysterious Amazon-set origin story, though, who is Ezekiel Sims? Is he a villain, as he seems to be when he appears repeatedly in Cassies' life, seemingly terrorizing teens at a diner and showing up barefoot on a subway train (the real crime) to throw random passengers around? Or is there something else going on here? "Madame Web" seems...

A trailer for Madame Web, the latest entry in Sony’s divisive live-action Spider-Verse, has finally dropped, giving us a hint of the movie’s intriguing time-travel plot, the young women set to develop spidey powers, and the villain hunting them all – Ezekiel Sims. But another thing that the Madame Web trailer has given us is a first look at who Adam Scott will be playing. His name is technically not uttered in the trailer, but according to IMDb he will be playing an important character in the Spider-Verse – Ben Parker.
Most people know Ben Parker as Uncle Ben, the man who raised Peter Parker alongside his wife May after the death of Peter’s parents. Uncle Ben has been played by Cliff Robertson in the Tobey Maguire-led Spider-Man films and Martin Sheen in the Andrew Garfield-led Amazing Spider-Man movies, but has not yet been shown in the McU-connected Spider-Man movies.

Three more episodes until the end of it all. The iconic zombie survival series reaches its highly-anticipated conclusion in just a few short weeks. Episode 21, titled “Outpost 22,” follows our survivors as they deal with their forceful abduction at the hands of the Commonwealth. With half the group doomed to work in a dreary labor camp, and the other scrambling through the woods evading Commonwealth soldiers, the show seems to be narratively backtracking at a time when it simply can’t afford to.
“Outpost 22” commits one of “The Walking Dead’s” most frequent sins. With only 3 episodes left in the entire series, the show’s iconic cast is completely spread out location-wise for the duration of this episode. Many of the characters simply scramble through uninteresting woodsy locales, evading completely mundane walker and commonwealth soldier encounters.
Some of the series’ worst low-points involved episodes where the main cast was split up and meandered through repetitive scenery.

In Sunday’s episode of The Walking Dead, all roads tracks led to the mysterious Commonwealth Outpost 22 that gave the episode its title. But the to-be-expected bumpiness of the path was nothing compared to the altogether unexpected surprise that awaited at the end of the road. And that was… ? Obviously something we’ll only reveal at the end of this recap, as if you don’t already know. Now then…
As the hour began, Maggie, Gabriel and Rosita, who never met a fix they couldn’t get out of, escaped from the transfer bus that was taking them to… well,...

This The Walking Dead review contains spoilers.
The Walking Dead Season 11 Episode 21
When you get past the record store and the ice cream stand, there are some serious issues in The Commonwealth. Even before you start digging deeper than surface level, the inequalities in terms of food access, housing, and healthcare are obvious. In the world of The Walking Dead, with unlimited available housing in various stages of repair, there’s no real reason to cram all of your community’s newcomers into dormitories. There’s no reason children should be forced to clamp on headphones to block out the sound of the family next door having a party.
Things improve once you’re in the community and you have a job, but one of the points Carol makes in this episode is how in The Commonwealth, everyone went back to their old lives. You work your job, you come home to your apartment,...

With four episodes left, The Walking Dead Season 11 Episode 21 should have had far more movement in the plot.
Introducing a functioning train line should have landed with more of a thud because it's something none of the survivors thought they'd ever see again.
However, the pace was all over the place on "Outpost 22," an hour that felt like a bit of a waste of time in the grand scheme of things.
We needed to check in with characters because many of them have been missing for most of the final season.
Maggie having to kill the young walker and her subsequent speech about taking everything back from Pamela felt like two callouts to the incomparable fearless leader, Rick Grimes.
The pain on Maggie's face as she realized she had to kill the undead child was harrowing because she didn't want to do it, not while she was unaware of whether her son was alive.

Perhaps setting up another future spinoff, Sunday’s episode of The Walking Dead introduced a terrifying new kind of walker — one that can turn doorknobs and climb walls, and even has the brainpower to use a rock as a weapon. Mind you, as clever as this new strain of the dead is, it still didn’t manage to get the better of Aaron, Jerry, Lydia and Elijah as they holed up at the former site of a Renaissance fair en route to Oceanside. The fearsome foursome fought off the assault and learned in the ickiest way possible — when Aaron ripped...

The final eight-episode run of “The Walking Dead” continues with “A New Deal.” Things immediately pick up with the imprisonment of the reckless Hornsby (Josh Hamilton) and the desperate attempt for Pamela Minton to save her son Sebastian’s (Teo Rapp-Olsson) reputation. Meanwhile, Daryl bonds with Judith as they prepare to return home to Alexandria. It’s clear from these first two episodes that the back quarter of the show’s final season is not wasting any time.
Continuing the trend of opening the episode with classic footage, “A New Deal” shows a brief montage of Daryl Dixon’s journey in its opening minutes. Much like the Rick-centered footage from last week, this sequence is narrated by Judith Grimes. These montage spotlights on the legacy characters are not only emotional, but a fitting way to emphasize the importance of this final string of the narrative.

What’s that sound you hear? Likely the entire audience of The Walking Dead saying in unison “Finally!” because a certain character that we’ve loathed since the moment they were introduced at last was turned into Walker Chow. But let’s not rush to that happiest of endings — happy for us, anyway. Let’s first set the table, so to speak, for the main course.
Early on in “A New Deal,” Daryl’s standoff with Lance’s troopers was concluded by Carol’s timely arrival with Pamela and Mercer. Carol, as hinted at last week, had struck a deal...

Welcome to this week’s review of WWE Raw, the company’s flagship show which this week follows one of the worst episodes of Smackdown I’ve seen in some time. And yes, that’s exactly what I said last week but the same applies to this week! Let’s see what this show has to offer…
Match #1: Raw Women’s Championship – Bianca Belair def. Carmella The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
The margin of error could not have been tighter for this encounter as Carmella could win the Raw Women’s Championship via pinfall, submission or count out. A perennial thorn in the side of The Est of WWE, Becky Lynch made her presence felt before the match laying out the champion with a Manhandle Slam. Lynch scouted her competition from the announce table, as it was announced that the winner would face her at SummerSlam for the Raw Women’s Championship.
