A Rolling Stone article was recently released with details on the behavior of nonbinary Queer Eye star Jonathan van Ness and his anger issues while on set.
The piece covered his behavior while filming with a source that called him “emotionally abusive” and a “monster” with “rage issues.” After the release of this article, fans of the show flooded the comments saying how upset it made them.
These fans took to Van Ness’ Instagram page with comments like, “I really hope the Rolling Stone article I just read has no truth to it.”
Additionally, one fan wrote, “You have always been a positive force in social media and someone who brings people up, especially those of us who are down. It would kind of suck if that was all just a facade.”

Kieran Culkin and Pedro Pascal clearly used the 2024 award season to keep their bromance-turned-playful feud alive.
Now that the season is (finally!) over, The Hollywood Reporter is taking a closer look at the interactions between the pair, who competed for several awards for best male actor in a drama series for their roles in Succession and The Last of Us, respectively. And they took nearly every opportunity they could — between red carpet interviews, acceptance speeches and backstage interviews — to comment on their ongoing lighthearted rivalry.
While fans for them both have been eating up all their moments caught on camera, circulating them on social media, The Hollywood Reporter is looking back at when it all started.
Beginning with the Golden Globes in January, Culkin ignited their faux-feud when he said during his acceptance speech for best actor in a TV drama for Roman Roy, “Suck it, Pedro. Sorry. Mine!” The...

Tan France says he had nothing to do with Queer Eye colleague Bobby Berk being apparently fired and replaced on the popular Netflix series.
“Yes, I’ve heard what’s going on, and I just want to address one point real quick. My former colleague getting fired had nothing to do with me trying to get my friend hired,” France, a co-host and fashion expert on the series, said in a Friday Instagram post.
Rumors and accusations have flown since interior designer Berk left the series and news broke he would be replaced by Jeremiah Brent for the ninth season of Queer Eye after an alleged campaign led by France.
France, who fronts the style portion of the series, insists Netflix did its own casting for Berk’s replacement and without his campaigning for Brent, as he is accused of doing. “I didn’t prop my friend up for the job.

In January, Berk addressed his exit in an interview with Vanity Fair as he told the outlet, “Queer Eye has been the most amazing gift that I couldn’t have ever imagined. Tan France — co-host and fashion expert on the Netflix “Queer Eye” series — has addressed the recent allegations that he pushed for the hiring of his friend Jeremiah Brent to replace former cast member and interior design expert Bobby Berk.
In a recent Rolling Stone article, sources claimed that France (with alleged support from co-host Antoni Porowski) “campaigned” for Berk to be replaced with new hire Jeremiah Brent. Brent is set to join the cast for Season 9.
“Yes, I’ve heard what’s going on, and I just want to address one point real quick,” France said in Instagram video post on Friday. “My former colleague getting fired had nothing to do with me trying to get my friend hired.”
France continued: “Netflix and the production companies did a full-on casting. I didn’t prop my friend up for the job. They ended up getting it because they were the best person for the job.

Celebrating the former’s loss, Culkin’s wife, Jazz Charton chimed in to have a little dig on her husband as she gave a shoutout to both the actors on her social media.

The duo has been making headlines for a while due to their feud as they kept on taking jabs at each other on several occasions. While their sweet and sour bromance continues, Charton wraps up their feud in an interesting manner.

The healthy competition between actors Pedro Pascal and Kieran Culkin has been the talk of the town for quite some time now. Pascal said that he’ll “make out” with Culkin after he managed to beat him when he won Male Actor in a Drama Series at the 2024 SAG Awards for his work as Joel in The Last of Us TV series. This was Pascal’s revenge as Culkin managed to beat Pascal at the Golden Globes.

The actor revealed that Culkin boosted his confidence as an actor after he praised him for his theatre acting but admitted that Culkin would deny this if they asked him to recall this story now. Pedro Pascal announced that he was going to “make out with” Kieran Culkin after beating him at the 2024 SAG Awards on Saturday night (February 24), and the Succession star responded.
The 48-year-old actor snagged the award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series for his work on The Last of Us.
During an interview with Tan France after his acceptance speech, Pedro was asked if he was going to tease Kieran for losing the award. He responded, “I’m going to make out with Kieran tonight,” adding, “That’ll be my revenge.”
His interview must have done the rounds because Kieran commented on it!

“You said we would make out,” Kieran pointed out to Pedro during a joint interview backstage with Et. When Pedro confirmed he said that, his competitor responded simply: “False,” he said.

The 2024 SAG Awards allegedly only ran 10 minutes over its two-hour time slot on Saturday, but it felt a whole lot longer.
Unlike most awards shows, the SAG Awards and other guild ceremonies award winners only in their respective disciplines, but that didn’t make the telecast more efficient or memorable in any way. While the room full of nominees and winners were endlessly thankful to their union and outside solidarity during the strikes, the telecast failed to sufficiently honor the talent on display in a worthy manner — that, too, on the show’s 30th anniversary.
And it was no ordinary SAG Awards year for another obvious reason: The telecast aired live on Netflix for the first time ever (including a pre-show hosted by Tan France and Elaine Welteroth). Netflix is one of the only streamers that doesn’t dabble in live TV, so teaming up with the SAG Awards was both surprising and smart.

Netflix made clear from the start that they were running a different kind of awards show.
Presenter and quasi-host Idris Elba indicated to the attended nominees that, in their speeches, they were free to let expletives fly, but that none of them should say anything “you wouldn’t say in front of Oprah.” After the SAG Awards had fully moved to streaming — after a liminal year, in 2023, in which the ceremony had aired on Netflix’s YouTube channel, preceded by a long tenure on the Turner cable networks — it felt like a sort of safe space for speaking frankly.
But shifting the script doesn’t necessarily match the priorities of actors during awards season. And while the ceremony deserves some credit for reinventing itself, its primary function was fueling the conversation about the forthcoming Oscars. In this, it provided plenty of fuel — with Lily Gladstone and Cillian Murphy winning the...

Ok, so maybe it was a good idea for Lily Gladstone to go lead after all.
The elegant “Killers of the Flower Moon” star went from possibly-forgotten-awards-season-afterthought to Oscar frontrunner in the space of a few moments at tonight’s 30th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards, and what was widely predicted to be another jewel in Emma Stone’s march to the Academy Awards crown for “Poor Things” hit not just a roadblock but a brick wall – demonstrating just how quickly narratives can be rewritten and fortunes can change.
The upset win brought a burst of excitement to an awards show that perhaps featured more pizzazz than expected going in. And some of that came, somewhat shockingly, on the television side, even as “The Bear” and “Beef” marched to ho-hum predicted victories. Jeremy Allen White continued his unblemished awards record (it was his second SAG trophy in as many years...

After a rather tame show last month, the freewheeling Golden Globes are kind of back. Only now they go by the name the 30th annual SAG Awards, which had a whole lot of the Globes and the Emmys in their bloodstream Saturday.
Finally on Netflix proper after being relegated to the streamer’s YouTube channel last year, the 2024 SAG Awards is yet another shiv in the side of broadcast TV by Team Sarandos as the first awards show to stream live on the global streamer.
In fact, that is likely why everyone from SAG-AFTRA boss Fran Drescher, de facto host Idris Elba, Beef star and now SAG Awards winner Ali Wong and more thanked the streamer and the co-ceo — cause that’s why they call it show business not show friends. Before reuniting with her Devil Wears Prada co-stars Anne Hathaway and Emily Blunt at the 2024 SAG Awards, Meryl Streep had a slight mishap with the microphone.
After being introduced by Idris Elba to present the first award of the night — best male actor in a comedy series, which went to Jeremy Allen White — Streep walked right into the microphone on the stage.
She quickly grabbed the microphone stand, looking quite frazzled. “Two things, I forgot my glasses … clearly. And the envelope,” she said with a laugh.
But Hathaway and Blunt swooped in to save their once-demanding boss, Miranda Priestly, from the Oscar-winning 2006 film. The two actresses took to the stage with the awards envelope and Streep’s glasses in hand.
“Oh my God. It’s an age-old question: Where does the character end and the actor begin?” Streep asked, as Blunt responded, “Well as we’ve just seen, Meryl and...

Featuring over 70 episodes and two specials, Netflix‘s Queer Eye has been captivating viewers since it first premiered in 2018.
The show follows five LGBTQ advisors as they attempt to improve someone’s life over the span of a week by using their respective areas of expertise. Food and wine expert Antoni Porowski handles culinary education. Designer Bobby Berk does home renovations. Fashion guru Tan France tackles the wardrobe. Grooming genius Jonathan Van Ness gives the makeover. Culture and lifestyle chief Karamo Brown guides them through the whole journey.

Instead it often digs deeper into its subjects’ lives and uses its stars natural empathy to help unpack everyday folks’ issues and ultimately instill confidence. As you might expect,...

Queer Eye Season 8 is Bobby Berk‘s last. The interior designer announced his impending departure from the Emmy-winning Netflix reality series when Queer Eye was renewed for Season 9 in November 2023. Now, Berk has revealed why he’s really leaving the show. Berk gave an interview about his final Queer Eye season to Vanity Fair just before Season 8 premiered on Netflix on Wednesday, January 24. “Queer Eye has been the most amazing gift that I couldn’t have ever imagined. It’s been a life-changing moment,” he told the outlet. “I’m leaving something that is a huge part of my life. Even though it’s my decision, it still wasn’t an easy one.” A supposed feud between Berk and co-star/fashion expert Tan France is rumored to be the cause of Berk’s exit. “I hope this interview will help extinguish some of the speculation,” he said of those rumors.

In the latest season of Queer Eye, which dropped on Netflix yesterday, Wednesday, January 24, one particularly emotional episode featured Tim Keel, a Kiss superfan who was primary caregiver to his brother, Tommy “Doody” Keel. Tim appeared in Season 8’s second episode, titled “Kiss the Sky,” which featured the Fab Five tasked with transforming his life. It was one of Tim’s daughters, Melody, who nominated her father for the show, saying he needs to learn there is more to him than just being a Kiss superfan and Doody’s carer. In the episode, it’s revealed that Doody was left paralyzed after a car accident. “They didn’t think he was gonna live,” Tim told the Fab Five, per Entertainment Weekly. “He was in a coma for three months.” Tim, whose house is decorated top to bottom in Kiss memorabilia, has been caring for his older brother since 1986. ...

See who kept up with their grooming routine and who would happily get styled by Tan France again in the future.

There are new reports surrounding Bobby Berk‘s exit from Queer Eye.
The 42-year-old original member of the cast was “asked to leave” Netflix’s hit show after eight seasons, a source tells Us Weekly.
Keep reading to find out more…
The source claims that his departure was “because he wasn’t vibing with the cast,” which includes Karamo Brown, Tan France, Antoni Porowski and Jonathan Van Ness.
“There were many challenges with scheduling [and] there was a loss of interest from Bobby filming the show. The network and the cast thought it was time to bring in fresh blood. His heart was not in it and the rest of the cast started to resent him because of that,” the source said.
However, a second source told Us that he “was not asked to leave” and the “decision was amicable.”
Find out how he addressed his exit in his own words.
