Gee Sahota
- Writer
- Producer
- Director
Passionate about film and storytelling, Gee shifted careers from corporate marketing and PR in finance to pursue her dream as a filmmaker. She project managed her last two short films, based on scripts she wrote and co-wrote, one of which she co-directed, with high calibre professionals and on a no-budget.
Gee also completed her directorial debut for her short 'Lifeline' (on a lo-budget), which she wrote, produced and edited and is about to do its rounds at the festival circuit.
Her next short, which is in the script development phase, 'A Woman's Voice' aims to be made into a feature length. It's one of 3 feature length screenplays, which spans over the last 15 years and is loosely inspired by real life events.
When she doesn't have her head buried in film, she enjoys tutoring English to private clients, both adults and children, and for Speak Street, a wonderful not-for-profit who offer free English classes to refugees, asylum seekers and migrants.
