Jag Bains made history on “Big Brother 25” Sunday night when he claimed his seventh Power of Veto, passing Michael Bruner‘s previous record of six he set just last year. Unlike Michael, Jag was able to secure a place in the season finale which will air Thursday, November 9 on CBS. Michele Fitzgerald became the 14th contestant eliminated from “The Challenge: USA” on Thursday night, following her loss to Cassidy Clark in the arena. In the game “Hot Wheel,” Cassidy was the first to torch all six of her targets and sent the “Survivor 32” champ packing by a score of 6-1. Watch our exclusive video interview with the eliminated contestant above.
“I was so mentally and emotionally checked out at that point,” Michele tells Gold Derby senior editor Denton Davidson. “When you go in you have to have a fire to come back into the game.” Prior to the arena Michele got into a heated fight with Michaela Bradshaw, with whom she clashed all season. “She plays the game super logically and I play really emotionally,” she reveals. “We always wanted the same end goal, but it’s how we got there. She’s out in the sunlight and I play in the shadows.

The Challenge: USA Season 2 was not a good time to be Big Brother. Sure, there are still two players who come from that show, but Faysal Shafaat and Josh Martinez are also allied with the vets, due to their time on the MTV side of the franchise. And in the latest episode, it was Tyler Crispen who was eliminated, after being voted in (by Michaela Bradshaw and Cory Wharton) then facing off against Chris Underwood in the arena in Barrel Tag. Here, Tyler talks his strategy, campaigning to go into elimination to protect Alyssa Snider earlier this season, and more. With those times, that was the fastest elimination this season, right? Tyler Crispen: Yeah, I think I was a part of the longest elimination so far and the shortest. That was a quick one. Do you think there’s anything you could’ve done differently ...

The latest elimination and going home was “definitely bittersweet” for one of the two Challenge: USA players sent home. It was a double elimination week, so along with Wes Bergmann retiring from The Challenge after his loss to Chris Underwood, Alyssa Snider exited after facing off against Cassidy Clark in the arena. Emotions were running high with those two departures, so TV Insider caught up with Alyssa to take us inside that, find out where she and Tyler Crispen stand, and more. Talk about that elimination. Is there anything you think you could have done differently? Alyssa Snider: It was so hard and scary. Being harnessed 30 feet in the air and having to street fight my way out of there is just so not my personality. I remember being up there and — you could even hear me — saying the whole time, “Just keep swimming. You got it. Just keep going.

The Challenge loves to pit friends against one another in an elimination, and that’s exactly what happened in the arena on USA in Season 2 Episode 8, “Independence Day.” Johnny “Bananas” DeVenanzio and Tori Deal won the first daily with the players competing as individuals, they nominated couple Tyler Crispen and Alyssa Snider for elimination. Wanting to protect Alyssa, Tyler campaigned for it to be a guys’ elimination, which ultimately led to the hopper tossing out a ball for his close friend Monte Taylor. Season 25 of “Big Brother” kicks off with a live 90-minute episode on CBS August 2. It will likely begin with the first Head of Household competition, granting someone with a distinct advantage as the houseguests get to know each other. The Hoh will choose two people to go on the block for eviction, both of whom can ultimately save themselves with the Power of Veto. But what is the Power of Veto? And who has won the most in Bb history?
The golden Power of Veto was introduced at the end of “Big Brother” season 3. It allows the owner to remove one of the nominees for eviction from the block. The Pov also guarantees the holder safety should one of the nominees be removed. Unless there is some sort of twist, the Head of Household must choose a replacement nominee for whoever is taken off the block.

When The Challenge: USA Season 1 launched last summer on CBS, many wondered what would happen if legendary players from the MTV original series infiltrated the game.
In a rare case of producers listening to fan demands, the reality tv series will add familiar faces to the cast of The Challenge: USA Season 2.
Faces from Survivor, Big Brother, and The Amazing Race, will compete with six legends of the original series.
Unfortunately, Love Island is being left out in the cold this year, and while it's upsetting, it makes sense.
The dating series has moved to Peacock, so it seems like Viacom is no longer interested in promoting the brand.

Showmances have been a part of the game since season 2 when Dr. Will Kirby first coined the term in the series. In one of the most improbable runs in “Big Brother” and reality TV history, Taylor Hale won “Big Brother 24” on Sunday, nearly three months after she was ostracized and targeted by the house in the very first week of the game. She also won America’s Favorite Houseguest, the first game winner to take home the 50,000 prize.

Taylor Hale on making ‘Big Brother’ history: ‘This is like winning Miss Congeniality all over again’
During every season finale of “Big Brother,” host Julie Chen Moonves hands out two checks: one worth 750,000 to the ultimate winner and one worth 50,000 to the person who viewers named America’s Favorite Houseguest. “We have made history,” Julie declared during Sunday’s “BB24” finale. Why? Because Taylor Hale was the recipient of both cash prizes, for the first time ever. (She also won a Princess Cruise for two — not too shabby!)
“This is like winning Miss Congeniality all over again, but there’s a cash prize this time,” the Michigan beauty queen said on live television after Julie made the big announcement. “I’m gonna spend a lot of money at the mall. Also I think I have to go and buy some potato chips after this.” Of course, Taylor made history in another way as well, as she now becomes the first Black woman to win “Big Brother.

A nice cash prize of 50,000 will be awarded to America’s choice this season, but that’s not the only prize that is being given out.
According to the Big Brother website, the 2022 Afh winner also gets a seven-day cruise for two people that has an...

Angela Rummans appears in a confessional interview for The Challenge: USA. Pic credit: Paramount+
Following her appearance on CBS’ spinoff The Challenge: USA, Angela Rummans was taking care of business in Indonesia.
The former Big Brother houseguest took to Instagram to share several photos in which she posed wearing a skimpy snakeskin pattern bikini featuring a stunning mix of greys, browns, and black.
In the first of four photos, the 30-year-old gave a sideways pose as she sat against a wooden beam and gazed at the camera with her long brunette locks flowing down.
A second image has Angela resting a hand on her head as she stands straight up in the same location, with her hair blown slightly across her face.
In a third pic, she’s provided close-up shots of the snakeskin bikini, while a fourth has her giving a bit of a smile as she faces the camera.

Taylor Hale survived being on the block again on Big Brother 24. Pic credit: CBS
The Big Brother 24 live feeds have been busy, and for fans of Taylor Hale, it has been very entertaining since she won the latest Head of Household Competition.
Taylor definitely likes being in power, but before she even got her Hoh Room, it was revealed that she had to put two people on the block for eviction.
With only three choices on hand, here are the BB24 spoilers about who Taylor nominated for eviction. And for Big Brother fans who really want to jump ahead, here is who won the early Power of Veto this week.
Those particular spoilers weren’t the only events taking place in the Big Brother house over the past 36+ hours, as the final four houseguests have been providing producers with a lot of footage for the upcoming episodes.

Monte Taylor has made it to the final four on Big Brother 24. Pic credit: CBS
Big Brother fans watching the live feeds on Tuesday morning saw what might be the latest showmance to emerge from the BB24 cast.
And much like when Tyler Crispen and Angela Rummans started their relationship in the Big Brother 20 house, this one will have to be kept under wraps.
After cuddling a bit in the Head of Household bed, Monte Taylor and Taylor Hale had a kissing session while the cameras watched.
It isn’t too surprising that the flirting between Monte and Taylor has led to this point, and with how much they have been hanging out together as part of the final five, it could have been a predicted outcome.
Will this showmance evolve into more than just two attractive houseguests having fun together? We will all have to stay tuned to find out.

The 24th season of “Big Brother” may have just produced its first all-star in Michael Bruner. The 28-year old from Rochester, Minnesota won his fifth Power of Veto competition on Wednesday night, which ties the record set by Janelle Pierzina (Season 7), Daniele Briones (Season 8), Paul Abrahamian (Season 19) and Kaycee Clark (Season 20). Michael achieved this feat in less than 60 days inside the Bb house, faster than anyone else in the show’s history.
Janelle still stands alone in overall single-season comp victories. With four Head of Household reigns, the Bb Prom Queen won nine competitions during her 67-day stay in 2006. To date, Michael has won two HOHs for a total of seven comp wins, putting him within striking distance of more history. But how long can he avoid the block?

Michael Bruner picked up his fifth comp win and fourth Veto this week on “Big Brother 24” when he won Otev. Sure, he was also aided by Terrance Higgins throwing it to him in a misbegotten attempt to save Daniel Durston, but still, a win is a win. That also means that his festie bestie Brittany Hoopes is in the “Bb” annals as a co-winner of Otev even though she was the first one to be eliminated from the comp. As a superfan, Michael is no doubt aware of the Otev curse and the fact that Cody Calafiore broke it in 2020 when he became the first Otev champ to win the whole game in the same season. That didn’t kick off a new trend, though, since Alyssa Lopez was evicted in seventh place last season. Can Michael or Brittany become the second?
Before Cody, no one had ever won Otev...
