Spencer Young (Spence) --
Producer/Writer/Partner at Chicago-based Enfant Terrible Cinema. --
Current/recent productions include The Third Parent, Signs of Love, Subterfuge, Metal Man, Nevermore. --
Spence has worked as a freelance PA in the Chicago commercial film industry, in the Creative Department at BBDO-Chicago Advertising Agency, as a floor trader on the CBOE, and as an Electronic Futures Trader. He's also released music in the Chicago rock scene during the 90s as a co-owner of Urban Legends Records, and the Chicago house scene since the mid-00s by holding down radio residencies on WCRX 88.1 FM, the early online video streaming site UndergroundHouse-TV, and the London-based D3EP Radio Network. --
A fan of horror films since his early childhood, in 2016 Spence discovered a series of 4 brutally bizarre award-garnering short stories on a popular 14+ Million member online underground horror forum. Realizing the potential for this series of stories to be adapted to film, he reached out to his grade-school friend David Michaels, who has firmly established himself as a screenwriter, producer, and filmmaker over the last 25 years. David Michaels (Screenwriter and director) and Spencer Young (Producer) are working together to bring a film adaptation of these stories to life.
