Along with fellow Sex Pistol member, Johnny Rotten, lanky, sneering, pock faced Sid epitomised the punk movement born in the mid 1970s in working class England. Sid Vicious (real name John Beverly) wasn't an original member of the Pistols, but rather joined the band after original bassist, Glen Matlock dropped out after personality clashes with lead singer Rotten. On stage, Sid (often stripped to the waist) would incite the audience to get wilder and more frenzied, and his infamous antics included spitting and spraying beer into the audience. The British establishment despised the Pistols with a passion, and Sid was viewed as a crude, foul mouthed hoodlum corrupting English youth with his unclean image. Unfortunately for a naive Sid, he fell into the company of alleged drug user, Nancy Spungen, and his world spiralled out of control leading to the break up of the Pistols (their last show being in San Francisco), and Sid's lame attempts to kick start his own solo career, which included a demented cover of the popular Frank Sinatra song "My Way", accompanied by a violent video clip. Vicious and Spungen took up residency in the Chelsea Hotel in New York City in early 1978, however their self destructive personalities meant a tragedy was fast approaching, and on October 12th 1978, Spungen was found dead in their hotel room from stab wounds. Vicious was charged by police with Spungen's murder and released on bail, pending trial. However, only four months later in February 1979, Vicious himself was found dead of a heroin overdose. Sid was dead at aged 21. His will requested his ashes be poured over Nancy's grave at the King David Cemetery in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Along with Janis Joplin, Brian Jones & Jimi Hendrix, Sid had assured himself a place in rock and roll history, as another iconic music figure dead at a young age.- Actor

Named after her grandmother who's' nickname was "Na" (pronounced Neigh as in Neighbor). Grew up in the San Fernando Valley, north of downtown Los Angeles. Naomi's family has what she calls 'stretched generations' as Naomi's father, James Pennington Settle was born in 1919 and served in the Army, stationed in Berlin during active duty adopting a child while there, for 20 years before Naomi was born. Her dad's career after the Army continued in the aerospace industry, and his last 10 years 'on the job' was for the Los Angeles Police Department as a forensic chemist in the Scientific Investigation Division 'SID', with experience in the gritty detective work for major crimes. Naomi's mom was a housewife, watching Naomi's favorite TV show with her back in the '60s and 70's: The Fugitive" starring David Janssen.
Naomi's family has a similar 'Real-Life experience' as depicted by the story from the film "Phenomenon (1996)' starring John Travolta and Forest Whitaker. Posthumous testimony exists as evidenced by her parent's gravestone.
One of four siblings, Naomi is the youngest. Her father's surname 'Settle' is a town approximately 200 miles north of London; on her father James side of the family, they come from a long line of Masons in the Order of the Eastern Star. Her mom, Shirley was German and possibly American Indian (research to do).
Bachelor's Degree Economics from Claremont McKenna College in 1984 (was Claremont Men's College until 1981). Worked at "Big 8" (now "Big 4") accounting firm, earning her Certified Public Accountant 'CPA' license in the late ''80s. Naomi worked in many different industries and companies over the years, as a business / financial manager.
Clint Eastwood sent Naomi a Twitter with a link to his song "Unknown Girl of My Dreams", a beautiful song. Check out Clint's singing in the forest with Lee Marvin, Paint Your Wagon (1969)
Naomi's brother in law Matt Layton worked on Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson's personal computers. We lost Matt way too early in life, as he passed away at the age of 40 due to a major heart attack.
Kevin Spacey signed Naomi's sister, Loretta's, Canoga Park High School yearbook.
The production company for the film 'The One (2001)' starring Jet Li, purchased Naomi's suburban on the first day she put the sign in the car in her driveway in Simi Valley on Mellow Lane, for the full asking price, shocking her (ex)husband as they lived on Mellow Lane (literally), not a lot of street traffic.
The film, Anon (2018) starring Clive Owen and Amanda Seyfried has Naomi's attention. Wondering, if considered the movie as a version of the 'supernatural visions, dreams, schematic nightmare' perhaps... connection to 'Naomi' when you start with 'aNon', then move the N to the first letter; add back a lack of leg, very personal reason(s) to add back that leg, onto the second 'n', then add the ' i ' at the end you have: Naomi
