Otto "Coco" Heimel was an accomplished guitarist who performed with bassist/vocalist Candy Candido. The pair formed a trio with the better known Gene Austin and performed in clubs and films, including a rousing rendition of "After You've Gone" in the Joan Crawford feature "Sadie McKee". After a falling out with Austin over pay they parted ways. Otto's best known recording is "China Boy" which is featured in the compilation album "Progressions: 100 Years of Jazz Guitar".- Sound Department
Gerald W. Alexander was born on 7 April 1901 in Nemaha, Nebraska, USA. He is known for Juarez (1939) and Fifty Years Before Your Eyes (1950). He died on 3 July 1974 in San Diego, California, USA.
