- With his mother, PINGU visits the injured Pinga in hospital. PINGU manages to cheer up the whole ward by pretending to be the surgeon in a shadow play he puts on. The nurse and real surgeon look on and are so impressed they give PINGU a prize when he is finished.
- Grandfather tells Pingu about the moon and he desperately wants to visit. With Pinga's help, Pingu makes a rocket from a barrel, some tin foil and snow.

- PINGU and his family are sitting down to a meal and there is seaweed for lunch - not PINGU's favourite. Then PINGU has an idea how to avoid having to swallow the stuff.
- A new little penguin is on its way, and all members of the family are helping with incubation. While his parents are away, PINGU is entrusted with this important task. But he finds sitting still difficult, and everything almost goes wrong.
- PINGU and his friends are playing ball. They are so excited that they do not notice how loud they are. The neighbours are annoyed at the noise the youngsters are making and keep chasing them away, but they refuse to let themselves be driven off so easily.
- PINGU has arranged to meet his friend. His mother asks him to take care of his little sister Pinga. Whilst he and his friend play together, PINGU tells Pinga to stay where she is. When they discover Pinga is missing PINGU and his friend look everywhere for her until they have to admit to Mother what has happened, only to find that Pinga has made her own way home.
- PINGU and his friend decide to build an igloo. They search for a place to build the new igloo but cannot agree on the spot. They end up fighting over the ice blocks and decide to build their own igloos. However they soon realise that the only way to succeed is by working together.
- PINGU sets off to go fishing at his two ice holes. He is soon doing well and, as he catches them, puts the freshly caught fish in a pile behind him. But, when he turns round his fish are gone! Robby the seal ensures that PINGU catches the same fish every time and eats the bait while he is at it. PINGU can not work it out but once he lures Robby out of the water he meets the trickster and is able to see the funny side of the situation. A firm friendship is formed.
- Pingu admires a friend's new skis. However he spots a barrel and has an idea, rebuilding it into homemade skis. The two begin showing off to each other.
- PINGU's father works at the post office. Today, PINGU is allowed to help him deliver the mail. In the process he learns what post means to different people and that the news can be happy and sad.
- Pingu and Robby find themselves with an enormous fish but are not at all hungry. They start to play with it and discover fish tennis. After a game and the retrieval of the fish, when it gets stuck on the line, they have worked up an appetite again and can enjoy eating the fish.

- PINGU is in a terrible mood and is behaving accordingly. It is the last straw when he tips up his chair taking the tablecloth with him as he falls. PINGU is sent outside while his parents clear up the chaos. As he wanders in the growing dark PINGU begins to see faces in the all the snowdrifts and is very relieved when his father comes out to find him and takes him home.
- The two penguin children try everything in order not to have to go to bed. First they need to go to the loo again, then they're thirsty, then they have to have the light on, and then the door has to be left just a little bit ajar. Their mother is worn out, and falls asleep on the chair and when they see this the children realise what they have done help their mother to bed.
- PINGU, Pinga and Robby play at putting on a circus. Their performances meet with huge applause, even though not all of them go to plan, in fact the more they go wrong the funnier they seem to be.
- PINGU feels sorry for the poor organ grinder. He puts some money in his hat and wants the adult penguins to do the same but they all look the other way. PINGU takes the poor man to his run-down igloo. Then he takes the barrel-organ and plays outside the baker's, the fishmongers', the tailor's and in front of the drinks store. In turn each shopkeeper donates some goods. On his return PINGU is laden with food for the organ grinder and, while he eats, even patches up his igloo.
- A real snowball fight is alright but before the battle goes to far, PINGU and Robby move on to a quieter game and have just as much fun.

During their lesson the class all have to dive into the ice-hole in order to find out what types of fish live beneath the ice. But PINGU 'knows' that not only fish live in the ocean and Robby catches all sorts of creatures for them to learn about.

- During a game of catch with a friend PINGU's ball rolls out of sight. Whilst trying to retrieve it the two friends get trapped in an ice tunnel. Although at first despairing with a little ingenuity on PINGU's part they manage to get out and back home.
- The egg, which has been lovingly incubated by all the members of the family, now starts to crack. Pinga is about to be born. There are a few nervous moments before the new addition to the penguin family gets to see the light and PINGU feels that he is being a bit left out, because they wanted it to be a surprise.

- PINGU and two friends meet for a toboggan race. They all race down the mountain but PINGU's toboggan doesn't seem to be working properly and he just can't keep up. PINGU knows just what to do and makes a few adjustments. However, his new speedy descent lands him up inside a snowman, and he has to melt back out of it.

- PINGU is celebrating his birthday with his friends. The place is decorated and they have all sorts of games to play. As he is the birthday boy, PINGU has to join in all the game and begins to be rather miserable when he loses. Luckily the situation is rescued by Mother arriving with the birthday cake.
- PINGU and Pinga are home alone and PINGU gets carried away while playing and hurts his beak. They realise they must go to the doctor where at first he is frightened. However when Mother arrives he is reassured and is able to get his beak seen to.
- At school, PINGU is irritated to find that the new girl penguin seems to have taken a shine to him and is insisting on following him. However, when a snowball misses it target they are united in being the culprits and become friends as well.

- PINGU's mother is out with her friends. In the meantime, PUNGU has the task of looking after the twins. This wears him out so much that he gets very tired. Luckily he manages to think up a little trick to help him stay awake.
- PINGU is supposed to be looking after his neighbour's egg. But he doesn't pay proper attention and the egg goes off on its own. PINGU accidentally retrieves the wrong egg and out hatches someone else's penguin, which PINGU has to return to the right parent.
- Pingu meets Pingo, who is playing with his new clockwork car. Pingo winds up the car and sets it going. The car runs into a block and Pingu goes to rescue it, but Pingo won't let him touch it
- PINGU sees on the table, a letter which he would like to read. He hides the letter when he hears his mother coming. Pinga and mother search everywhere for the letter and PINGU is afraid to reveal that he has already opened it, but when he does it turns out that the letter was an invitation to go to a party. Pinga has an invitation too. They are already late because of the search and have to rush to get to the party on time.
- PINGU's friend Pingo teases him while he is enjoying himself with his girlfriend Pingi. This annoys PINGU and he plans revenge. He saws away at the bridge to Pingo's house and then tries to persuade him to cross is so that he will fall into the water. But when Grandfather wants to cross the bridge at the PINGU tries to prevent him and fall in the process.
- A seagull steals PINGU's fish. His search for the thief leads him to a bird's nest full of young birds. When PINGU sees the chicks he understands the mother bird's actions. What is more he decides to help by stealing fish from around the village to feed the birds. The owners of the fish he steals however are less than impressed by the disappearance of their food.
- PINGU and Pinga are playing when they accidentally break their mother's beautiful vase. To PINGU's embarrassment Pinga tells her father how it happened. However, father understands it was an accident and finds a replacement and mother is pleased to receive a bunch of flowers as well. All the same PINGU still annoyed when Pinga also tells her Mother when he was hoping that she would never have to know.
- Instead of a fish PINGU and his friends catch a bottle, containing a mysterious map. However, the message leads them to an old chest with a seal-shell inside. After an initial disagreement his friend takes the chest and PINGU is left with the unremarkable shell. However when he gets home they discover that the shell holds treasure of its own.
- Robby and a friend want to play Badminton without PINGU, which makes him very unhappy. When their shuttlecock lands on an ice floe, PINGU fetches it, and in return wants the whole basket of fish they have. So his two friends decide to play a trick on PINGU and put a crab in the basket before they give it to him. When the crab emerges PINGU is so startled that he falls and hurts himself, seeing this the two friends feel sorry for him and share the game and the fish.
- On the way to school PINGU watches a man as he draws lots and wants to try his luck too. Since he has no money he tries to pay with fish and, all though very poor the ticket seller gives him an extra free ticket in return. Taking it to his mother she realises that he has won a huge crate of fish. But rather than keep is all to himself PINGU decides to give most of the crate to the ticket seller as a thank you. When she gets the fish the ticket seller give PINGU a special talisman, which PINGU thinks is a far better prize
- PINGU gives Pinga a shock when he draws on a sheet to be ghost. Mother is not amused by the prank and sends PINGU to bed without any supper. All alone in his room with a terrible storm outside PINGU is terrified especially when he sees a cloth move in the wind and believes that he has seen a ghost. When Father comes in and sees that PINGU is so frightened he allows him to join Pinga in their parents' bed.
- A postcard form the South Seas leads PINGU and Pinga to adorn themselves with flowers and decorate the house. However, when mother discovers that they have destroyed her loveliest flower she passes out. Pinga explains to their father what they have done but a new bunch of flowers pulls mother from her sleep and she is glad to see the children playing so sweetly.
- PINGU helps his father to wipe fresh snow off the car. Deciding this is very hard work PINGU tries to think of a way that would mean that he didn't have to do it again. He comes up with the idea of an ice garage which Robby helps him make. When Father gets home he is very impressed by the idea of a garage and also by PINGU and Robby for building it.
- PINGU refuses to help Mother and instead locks himself in his room. Finally, when everything is quiet PINGU leaves room and sees Mother, Father and Pinga hanging out the washing and feels a little left out. As he is realising his selfishness the line breaks under the weight of the washing and only PINGU stepping in prevents the clothes ending up on the ground and he gets the attention of his family once more.
- PINGU and Pinga are playing outside the igloo with their old toys when Pingi comes along and PINGU decides that he is too old for the toys. Instead of playing with Pinga, PINGU takes his bike and starts showing off to Pingi. Pinga meanwhile after feeling a bit left out goes inside to be with mother.
- Mother sends PINGU to the baker's to fetch the bread but in the process he steals a cake. He attempts to conceal is from his mother but she spots it and he has to go back to the baker's shop and apologise. As a punishment PINGU must clean the chimney, which he promptly falls down but gets a cake as a thank you anyway. However PINGU is not best pleased when he discovers that, whilst he has been washing off the chimney dirt, Pinga has eaten his reward.
- Having found an old photo in the shed PINGU asks father if they can go up the mountain. However when they set off PINGU soon gets tired. Father encourages and helps him and together they reach the top of the mountain from where they can enjoy the beautiful views from above the village.
- PINGU is put out when he loses several games of hide and seek and to make matters his friends are laughing at his efforts to find them. When he sees a ladder PINGU has the perfect solution and climbs up an iceberg from where he is able to see all the hiding places. But the tables are turned when the others remove the ladder and PINGU is left stranded on his vantage point.
- PINGU discovers a magnet and decides to use it to dupe a friend. They play hit the spot, PINGU with a metal ball, his friend with a wooden one. Sure enough PINGU wins every time. However the tables are turned when his friend discovers PINGU's trick and turns it back on him. In the end all cheating is finished when Father unwittingly drives off with the magnet.
- PINGU rushes off to his grandfather as he has found a bow and arrow to play with. Grandfather shows PINGU how to shoot the bow and arrow but he doesn't pay enough attention and shoots at and breaks several things before Grandfather sends him home. When he gets home PINGU is given a job to do as punishment but manages to remain cheerful.
- PINGU meets his grandfather on his way home from school. PINGU is rather full of himself and wants to play a thoughtless trick on Grandfather and it is not until the last minute that PINGU realises that Grandfather is actually in danger. However he is forgiven and having learnt his lesson is thankful that nothing terrible happened.
- It is PINGU's birthday and he discovers a large present on the table. He wants to open it but he is told he has to wait. He is very impatient and he tries in all sorts of ways to secretly find out what his present might be. In doing so he knocks the heavy parcel falls from the table and when he is finally allowed to open the parcel he finds the cake inside it is somewhat squashed. In the end however the cake tastes just as good so everyone is happy again.
- PINGU is constantly annoying and playing tricks on Pinga until she almost starts to cry. Father sees what is going on and stops PINGU by pestering him in the same way as he pesters Pinga. PINGU doesn't like it but like Pinga, he can't do anything about it. Having learnt his lesson, PINGU and Pinga play happily together once again.
- PINGU and Pinga area playing with their airplane in the igloo and make such a mess they are sent outside. When they see a real plane fly over PINGU and Pinga decide to build their own one and happily play at being pilot and passenger.
- PINGU sees a magic kit in the shop are really wants it. He tries to put pressure on everyone, convinced he can't live without it. At last seeing PINGU wishing so hard for something his parents decide to get it for him. Although it is not Christmas they surprise PINGU with a tree and the present and he is delighted.
- PINGU wants to bake a cake himself after he learns to do so at the bakery. However his efforts are rather clumsy and he accidentally adds extra baking powder. The result turns out to be rather unusual and oddly shaped but the taste is good all the same and the whole family enjoys it.
- Pinga discovers a book about kingdoms and PINGU thinks that it would be great to be king. He plays the king and his friends help to play out the scenes. However when he gets too grandiose and starts ordering his 'inferiors' they decide to leave the one sided game.
- PINGU is playing at being an Red Indian with Pinga's teddy bear when the arm comes off. Pinga sees the damage and, distraught goes crying to Mother. PINGU pretends that it wasn't him and tells some far-fetched story. Pinga's bear is repaired and she gets a lolly to pacify her. On seeing this PINGU pulls the arm off his bear as well, what he really wants is the same attention from Mother as Pinga is getting.
- PINGU is showing off and bets Pinga that he can shoot balls at a can better than she can. At first PINGU wins and gets the teddybear prize however seeing her distress the stallholder gives Pinga some help and arranges for her to win the prize from PINGU. All the same they are happy to share the bear and return home content.
- Father and mother would like to go and see a concert for a change. Their little âEURangelsâEUR(TM) promise to be good but once Mother and Father are out of the way the story is very different. Soon the igloo looks as though a bomb has hit it. Although the two try their best to clear up the mess they cannot quite manage it and their behaviour is discovered.
- PINGU accompanies little Pinga to the kindergarten. On the way there, his friends laugh at him. Unexpectedly helps PINGU out o f his embarrassment and in fact PINGU has a great day at the kindergarten.
- While cross-country skiing, PINGU and his friend rudely barge in front of an elderly skier. However as he is mucking around PINGU's ski breaks. Luckily for him despite his behaviour, the old man is understanding and helps PINGU home again.
- PINGU decides that he does not want to go to school this morning and he pretends he is ill. However, when his mother fetches the doctor, he sees right through the youngsters ploy and suggests a disgusting cure that PINGU does not like the sound of one little bit. Sure enough PINGU is sitting at his desk in time for his first lesson.
- PINGU discovers some painting materials and inspired by the idea of being a painter he sets about searching for a suitable subject. Robby soon becomes the model for his painting but quickly gets bored and starts to play around. Unbeknownst to them the âEURmess' they leave behind them on the ice is a work of art in itself.
- After PINGU has helped his neighbour he is rewarded for his kindness. When his friend repeats the task expectant of the same reward the neighbour sees through the ruse. In revenge the two young penguins decide that they will play a trick on the neighbour but it all ends with an innocent passer-by becoming the victim of their prank.
- PINGU and Robby are curling, PINGU is using Father's bed bottle as a curling stone, but there is small mishap. The neighbour, who has had his reading interrupted, wants to show the two troublemakers how it is done. But to the amusement of the two youngsters, it turns out that the adults can't do any better themselves.
- PINGU and Pingi want to have their first kiss. However their friends have other ideas and think up idea of interrupting them. Eventually however they take pity and the two are allowed some privacy.
- PINGU and Pinga are once more at home alone. They are hungry and practise cooking. Although their culinary skills almost always end in a disaster they do manage to get the mess they have made cleared up before Mother and Father get back.
- PINGU goes to see his aunt, who lives in another village. After a varied journey his aunt is pleased to see him and welcomes him into the house. At first PINGU has a great time but as night approaches PINGU becomes homesick and is very relieved that he has his teddy to comfort him whilst he is away from home.
- PINGU is playing at being a photographer with his friend Robby. In the process, PINGU also wants to capture a hot-air balloon on film. A photojournalist who comes rushing along takes a picture of the two friends with the balloon. When they go to get the film developed however it transpires that PINGU had forgotten to take off the lens cap and none of the photos come out. Luckily the picture in the newspaper shows PINGU and his friends in front of the balloon so they always have that to treasure.
- PINGU and Pinga need help from their parents, as they have broken their kite. Unfortunately they have no time. In the end they go off to Grandfather's house and when they come looking Mother and Father find the three of them happily flying a brand new kite.
- PINGU wants to give his Grandfather a birthday present. However, his little sister Pinga has brought along a larger present. PINGU wants to equal her, and has the small present wrapped up to make it look big.
- PINGU proudly presents Pingi and Pinga with his magic tricks. Everything works until Pinga recognises the trick with the flying carpet whereupon PIMGU is very put out. He goes away and practises so that he can impress his friends once again.
- PINGU is allowed to go to the fair ground together with the family. There is a lot going on, and PINGU wants to try everything. He overdoes things somewhat and does not feel at all well. Finally, however, he is happy again, thanks to Pinga.
- PINGU has some bad luck while bowling. He doesn't get any points. His bowl seems to be playing up and he cannot understand it. But all the others enjoy PINGU's funny throws and in the end Pingu enjoys himself too.
- With his friend, PINGU is playing a practical joke using a fish on a string. But when it comes to playing a trick on someone in a wheelchair PINGU is not so sure. To his surprise however having been the brunt of the joke the disabled penguin joins in the joke, in fact in the end it is PINGU's other friend that needs the wheelchair home when the joke back fires.
- Pinga is inconsolable, because her father has driven over her toy pram. The whole family is at a loss until PINGU gives her his new tricycle. Although Pinga does have an accident on it, she is delighted with PINGU's gift.
- When the strangers pass through the village every door is closed. Only PINGU is curious, and he discovers their strange way of fishing. The rest of the village are fascinated and impressed with what PINGU has just learnt and showed them.
- PINGU and his family are preparing for Christmas. PINGU and Pinga can scarcely wait for the handing out of presents. Whilst Mother and Father are decorating the tree outside an argument arises. The children make sure that their parents kiss and make up.
- As their Mother is asleep PINGU and Pinga take the record player outside and try to find a way to make it work mains electricity. But, in the end it is only when he sees his father check the car battery that PINGU comes up with solution. When Mother awakes she is thrilled to hear the music outside but only PINGU and Pinga know what is making it possible.
- While PINGU is splitting wood for his mother to use on fire, his friend invites him to play. PINGU asks Mother if he can go but the answer is no. However PINGU leaves the task despite his mother's words and has to be fetched back from the game. This only leads to an argument and PINGU decides to hide as a result, but a hint from Pinga leads his relieved parents to find him in the end.
- PINGU plans to set off on a great expedition. But when Pinga discovers PINGU's preparations she hides on the sledge. Having gone a little way PINGU realises that she is there and is forced to turn back. Blissfully unaware of the failed plan, mother sits down to eat supper with her children as usual.
- PINGU and Pinga help their mother doing the tedious household chores, although they don't quite get it all right. Pinga puts a blanket in the oven instead of in the cupboard and although it is clearly not the right thing to do the warm blanket is very cosy and PINGU and Pinga are quite happy to wrap themselves up in it.
- PINGU and Pinga only want to eat fish and cake for supper. Grandfather understands this and eats up everything that the youngsters do not want. When Father discovers what is going on he thinks that Grandfather is spoiling his grandchildren.
- PINGU and his friend Robby get up to all sorts of mischief during a visit to the Art Museum to the annoyance of the museum curator who seeks to reprimand the two rascals. However every time he tries to rectify the damage he manages to make it worse.
- Pingu has the day off school and wants to have fun, not to help Mother with her work. He sets off and meets his friends but they all have work to do. Then he realises that the mother bird looking for food for her young is working and remembers his own mother.
- PINGU is playing with his boat on the water. The boat keeps sinking because of a leaking hull but usually PINGU is just able to rescue it but then it gets just too far out of reach. A passer-by sees what is happening and uses their ski to edge out and rescue the boat; unfortunately in the process he falls in and loses his skis. Luckily the stranger doesn't seem too angry and PINGU is delighted to have his boat back.
- A friend of PINGU's is playing with a kite outside the house. PINGU passes by and wants to play with his kite too, but his friend reminds him to be careful because of the irritable neighbour. PINGU decides to ignore this warning and continues playing until his kite dives and hits the neighbour's house just as she is leaving whereupon she confiscates the kite. They are very disappointed but go home and play with a ball having learnt their lesson.
- PINGU goes fishing but promises to be back on time. However he forgets all about his promise when he meets his friend. They only catch small fish and it's so much fun at the waterside that even when it gets dark they aren't bothered. When his father has to come and find him PINGU is told to come home at once. The fish that PINGU had caught are appreciated by all but he realised that he went too far
- Father demands that PINGU puts everything in its right place. PINGU puts all his toys into his toy chest and then puts Pinga's toys neatly in their places. Whilst he is putting her toys away Pinga has taken PINGU's locomotive out of the chest and is playing with it outside. Pingu tries to take it away from her to put it away again but Father encourages them to go out side and play together. When Father comes back there are toys all over the floor again but he realises that children will always make a mess and stops worrying about it.
- PINGU is playing alone with wooden blocks when Pinga comes along and his tower collapses. In revenge he puts her ball just out of reach. Later he can't find the ball and assumes a thief has taken it. Outside he spies a stranger and thinks that he can see he has the ball. He challenges him but he is mistaken the stranger does not have the ball. When he gets home he finds the ball in Pinga's bed where she had hidden it.
- PINGU has some bad luck while bowling. He doesn't get any points. His bowl seems to be playing up and he cannot understand it. But all the others enjoy PINGU's funny throws and in the end Pingu enjoys himself too.
- The PINGU family get a call from Grandfather asking for their help. When there seem to be endless delays setting off in the snowmobile PINGU decides to go on foot and arrives at Grandfather's first. By the time Mother and Father arrive PINGU has already seen to Grandfather's foot and made a temporary splint for until they can get Grandfather to the doctor.
- PINGU, Pinga and Robby build an enormous snowman using the signpost, used by hikers as a support. But in the end the sign is uncovered and the snowman reveals his secret much to the relief of the hiker who would otherwise have become lost.
- The class outing takes them to see a sculptor, where a huge whale is being hewn. During the visit a classmate climbs on the sculpture, which even PINGU can see is going too far. When part of the sculpture breaks the young penguin is left hanging high in the air. By the time they get him down he has certainly learnt his lesson.
- Pingu plays Superman with his friend Pingo. Pinga wants to play princesses and doesn't find Pingu's games amusing. He wants to show off and leaps around until he twists his foot. He goes to the doctor where he finds Pingo injured too.
- On the way to school PINGU has bed luck with Pingi his girlfriend from school. During one of his lessons a classmate throws a paper aeroplane, it hits the teacher and PINGU gets the blame and is punished. PINGU decides to get revenge on the classmate who threw the plane but in the end it is this classmate who helps him out.
- PINGU and his friends Hugo and Robby are playing hide-and-seek. But PINGU appears to have vanished. However when PINGU taps the icicles as if they were bells and the sound makes his curious friends come and see the amazing ice cavern for themselves.
- PINGU and Robby are sledging and in the process they come across what they presume to be a fish and look forward to eating it. However upon closer examination, the catch turns out to be an old inedible figurehead. Their Grandfather understands what it is straight away and fetches the museum director who is delighted to find the exhibit he had lost. He leaves the figurehead with PINGU and Robby and they all have a fitting celebration.
- PINGU sees a picture of the Tower of Babel in a book and wants to build a tower like it where he can be higher than the birds. However in the end the tower collapses when Pinga starts taking the lower blocks back out. Although PINGU suffers nothing more than a black eye he realises that such a tower is not a reality.
- PINGU gets up and stumbles over some of his toys, has a bad journey to school and can't answer the questions the teacher asks him. His day gets worse and worse until he is cheered up by a doing a trick with some ice cream that someone has dropped.
- PINGU is doing very badly at his sports day. When it comes to the last event, the race PINGU does unexpectedly badly but it then emerges that he stopped to help a friend who had hurt himself meaning that Robby wins the race. He is given the cup for his kind behaviour. When PINGU goes home to show off the cup he places it on the side of the stove where is melts; luckily he has a photograph to prove he got the top prize.
