- The year is 1999. For 45 years Connie Brown has enjoyed a safe and quiet life at Stathie Manor. Hidden in the remote English countryside, Stathie Manor is no ordinary home and she is no ordinary woman. The walled and gated house had been requisitioned at the beginning of WWII with one highly secret purpose: to train female agents of the Special Operations Executive for top secret work behind enemy lines. It still does not appear on any map. Repurposed in the 1950s, the woman who remains there is now the custodian of the property and its unique secrets. Whenever Stathie Manor is threatened, she is heavily protected. But in fact, she can very much look after herself.
- Former special-forces soldier John Gold is given the opportunity to bring Sean Teague - the man who betrayed his team on their final mission in Eastern Europe several years ago - to justice. Gold would cheerfully see Teague dead, but he is convinced to help transport him to a military prison to pay for his crimes. Along the way, Gold will have to fight off Teague's team who are attempting to extract him, as well as a sniper seemingly hell-bent on killing Teague before he can be secured.
- A young Sumatran rhinoceros called Riki has his horn stolen by the horrible poacher Mr Jak. To get his horn back, Riki embarks on an exciting adventure through the rainforest with his friend Beni the duck. Along the way Riki helps other animals in trouble and every time he helps he is rewarded with a new skill that will help him on his quest.
