At the end, Jo "fixes" Paul Muni's breast pocket handkerchief and has it with two ends sticking out of his pocket. When he and Jo come out of the room to go downstairs, the handkerchief is showing neatly as a triangle exposed in the pocket.
Near the beginning of the film, Paul Muni is reading a book at a soda fountain. From the back, he is holding the book between the thumb and fingers of right hand. From the front, he is holding several pages between his thumb and index finger and the rest of the pages between his index finger and his other fingers.
When Dr. Cardwell is advising Caroline Suggs regarding her heart condition, at one point he is walking past her with his left hand in his pocket and the right hanging freely. But on the next immediate cut, he pauses and his hands are now crossed.
The shot of Red Bastian (Barton MacLane) wincing is the same at 0:46:47 when Dr. Lee Cardwell (Paul Muni) cleans his infected wound as at 1:03:59 when Dr. Cardwell give Bastian the shot of "dope". In the latter, Bastian is standing; but, in the cut shot he is sitting while a man with a striped tie stands behind him, the same as in the former.
