When Diddlebock is reaching for Jackie's lead on the ledge, the overhead shot from behind shows Jackie's legs close to the wall. The closer shot (from the front) shows Diddlebock reaching between Jackie's legs, with Jackie's feet now on the edge.
When Diddlebock reaches for Jackie's lead with his foot and knocks it over the edge, Jackie is standing up close to the wall. The next shot immediately after shows Jackie sitting down.
At the end of a football game Harold is under a pile of players. When they get up he has it over the line and has the white chalk line over his mouth and round his cheeks but the marks have disappeared when he's carried shoulder high off the field.
When Harold is in his office, his coat is lighter with a few tears in it. As he is walking on the street outside he is wearing a darker jacket with no tears.
The story takes place in New York. It is odd to see Los Angeles City Hall in the background of the final shot.
