In case you needed further proof that Kristen Bell and hubby Dax Shepard are the literal textbook definition of #RelationshipGoals, the couple's latest outing will solidify that fact - and maybe even give you a bit of Fomo. Just for the hell of it, Dax rented out an entire roller-skating rink for Kristen over the weekend, regardless of the fact that both her birthday and their anniversary were months ago. Seriously, does it get any sweeter than that? The dynamic duo skated an evening away at Moonlight Rollerway in Glendale, CA, and were joined by a handful of friends, including Kristen's Veronica Mars costar Ryan Hansen. While sharing a few snaps from the groovy adventure on her Instagram Story, Kristen referred to the group's evening of roller skating as "one of the best nights of my life." Pardon me while I melt into a pile of mush. Kristen has been...

I've had a fascination with the Winchester Mystery House since I first learned about it when I was a kid. The thought of ghosts instructing a woman to keep building on to her house to appease the spirits of those people who were killed by the Winchester rifle is a mysterious one.
I've been to visit the Winchester Mystery House a few times up in San Jose, California and it's pretty freakin' cool! I was really excited to hear that a movie was being made inspired by these stories that I grew up with and today we have the first trailer for you to watch! It looks like it's going to be a great horror flick!
The film is called Winchester: The House That Ghosts Built and it has a fantastic cast that includes Helen Mirren, Jason Clarke, Sarah Snook and Angus Sampson. Here's the synopsis:

Yesterday a few interviews from the cast and crew of Marvel's The Defenders surfaced in which the actors talked about their characters and their relationships with each other. You can read through all of those interviews here if you missed them yesterday.
Netflix has since released a couple new photos from the series for fans to check out. They include Iron Fist (Finn Jones) throwing a guy in a gas mask against a wall and Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) walking down a street with her best friend, Trish Walker (Rachael Taylor).
With this big marketing push that is currently underway for the series, Marvel and Netflix have got to be planning to release a new trailer for it soon. Just for the hell of it, I included the first teaser trailer that premiered at Comic-Con below to set the mood for what's to come.

Can you spot the hidden Mickey in Bosslogic's fan art of Frozen's Elsa as Harley Quinn? It's pretty easy to find. Bosslogic is always whipping up fun mashup pieces of art like this. Just for the hell of it, I also included a Frozen-inspired Harley Quinn song called "Do You Want to Kill the Batman?" which is the caption that came along with the image above. ...

Bloodsuckers, the water-soaked paranormal, and a Herschell Gordon Lewis film collection are coming out on Blu-ray this October from Arrow Video, and the official special features lists and cover art for The Herschell Gordon Lewis Feast collection, Dark Water (2002), and 1986's Vamp tease plenty to enjoy on all three releases:
"Mvd Entertainment Group furthers the distribution of Arrow Video in the Us with several new titles in October...
Dark Water [Blu-ray + DVD] (October 11th)
After terrifying audiences worldwide with the blockbuster J-horror classic Ring and its sequel, director Hideo Nakata returned to the genre for Dark Water, another highly atmospheric, and critically acclaimed, tale of the supernatural which took the common theme of the "dead wet girl" to new heights of suspense and drama.
Based upon on a short story by Ring author Koji Suzuki, Dark Water follows Yoshimi, a single mother struggling to win sole custody of her only child, Ikuko.

Outside of Robotech, my first real introduction to the world of anime was a film called Black Magic M-66, which was released in 1987. I remember watching it at a friends house when I was around 13 years old, and I was completely blown away! I had never seen anything like it before. I was used to the Saturday morning cartoons and Disney stuff, but seeing an animated film like this just melted my brain. From that moment on I was always on the hunt for great anime. It obviously led me to Akira, which was actually the second badass anime film that I watched.
I don’t know how many of you are familiar with Black Magic M-66, but if you’ve never seen it today is your lucky day! Just for the hell of it, I did a search online to see if I could find it, and there it...

X-Men 3 director Brett Ratner is currently in the process of developing a film based around the video game Tetris. It will be a biopic type film based on the life of Russian video game designer and computer engineer Alexey Pajitnov, who created the iconic game.
The film is being produced by Ratner and James Packer of RatPac Entertainment. The news comes from The Tracking Board, and this is what they had to say about the story. I had no idea that there was such a heavy, dramatic story behind its creation:
"In the vein of The Social Network, the story details the career of Pajitnov, who first developed Tetris with the help of Dmitry Pavlovsky and Vadim Gerasimov in 1984 in the communist-run Ussr. Pajitnov was working for a Soviet-funded research and development center in Moscow when he developed the first version of the puzzle game, which began to spread throughout...

Artist Oscar Römer created this incredibly cool series of X-Men character art. They include Wolverine, Nightcrawler, Beast, and Cyclops. The designs are really cool, and I especially like what he did with the costumes. They are different from any of the other character designs that I think I've seen. Just for the hell of it, I threw in another piece featuring Doctor Octopus. Römer is a talent concept artist who should be doing stuff for these kinds of movies if he isn't already. I was just looking over his Wolverine design hoping that one day we get to see Hugh Jackman in some kind of Wolverine-style costume. ...

A few new photos have leaked from the set of Star Wars: Episode VII. What's cool about these is that three of them come from the inside of the Millennium Falcon that director J.J. Abrams had built. The other photo provided looks like a corridor shot from another set. The origin of the photos come from mintinbox.net, but I came across them at makingstarwars.net. This would have been such an amazing set to work on, I would have loved to see some of this stuff in person. I would just spend the whole time playing around in the Millennium Falcon. That's what I did as a kid! Only my Millennium Falcon was a cardboard box. Just for the hell of it I also included photos from the original Star Wars movie set.

Just in case you need to wash the bad taste of Michael Bay's Transformers: Age of Extinction out of your mouth, here's an awesome set of fan art that was inspired by the classic cartoon designs. They were created by Carlos Valzonline and feature Optimus Prime, Megatron, Ultra Magnus, and one of my favorites… Jazz. Just for the hell of it I also included his Cyclone Armor from Robotech: The New Generation.

Even though Hulk has a grip on Thor's hammer, it doesn't look like he's going to budge it any time soon. This amusing piece of comic fan art comes to us from Randy Bishop. The illustration has a really fun cartoon style to it. Make sure to check out more of the artist's really character designs here. Just for the hell of it I also threw in one he did of Batgirl.

Dorothy: What kind of a horse is that? I’ve never seen a horse like that before!
Guardian of the Emerald City Gates: And never will again, I fancy. There’s only one of him and he’s it. He’s the Horse of a Different Color you’ve heard tell about.

I love to read. I read every chance I get, including always bringing a book with me to read on my lunch hour.
I don’t get people who don’t read.
They make me crazed.
The other day when I came into the lounge, I noticed that someone had left three books in the lounge; a couple of bodice rippers, and A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini, whose first book was The Kite Runner. Both of Hosseini’s books reflect his Afghani childhood and heritage, and both are equally brilliant, though I...

We all love ‘American Horror Story’ but let’s face it — at some point this year, ‘Coven’ just lost us. I’m not sure whether it was the endless resurrections, the stunt casting, the ever-changing rules of the show’s universe, or all of the above, but one thing has become abundantly clear — something’s gotta change if the show wants to return to its ‘Asylum’-level glory.
American Horror Story has become famous for its A-List celebrity roster, its refusal to back away from tough issues, its unforgettable imagery and, of course, Jessica Lange. However, something was a bit.. off… about the show’s third season, Coven.
‘American Horror Story’: 5 Ways To Fix The Show Next Season
1. Chill Out On The Stunt Casting. I will always treasure Ian McShane‘s reign as Santa Claus back in Asylum, mostly because his episodes were icky and terrifying and his character...
