Dave and Jenny Marrs renovate classic and historic homes in their hometown of Bentonville, Arkansas on the reality show Fixer to Fabulous. Before starting their HGTV series, the couple launched the successful contracting company, Marrs Developing.
The Marrses have been married for 17 years and have five children. They met while working in different departments at the same company. Dave’s job required him to relocate and travel frequently, so the couple dated long distance for a while until Jenny agreed to move to Arkansas.

In this week’s edition of Canon Of Film, we take a look at one of Woody Allen‘s most popular films, ‘Crimes and Misdemeanors’. For the story behind the genesis of the Canon, you can click here.
Crimes And Misdemeanors (1989)
Director/Screenwriter: Woody Allen
Part dark tragedy, part dark comedy, or is it all comedy? It’s certainly all dark to say the least. Considered by almost everybody as one of Woody Allen’s very best films (although I’m not sure Woody would agree), ‘Crimes and Misdemeanors’, wasn’t his first dramatic film, that was the Ingmar Bergman-esque ‘Interiors,’ and it certainly wasn’t his last comedy, yet it clearly represents the moment in Allen’s career when he started to abandon comedy in favor of drama and tragedy. Well, maybe “abandon,” is the wrong word, but he certainly began to lose interest in comedy around here.

Some thoughts on the latest episode of Horace and Pete coming up just as soon as we let the wine breathe... So what differentiates Horace and Pete's second act from its first? Alan Alda and Jessica Lange are still listed in the cast credits, after all (though Marsha could certainly return), and previous installments had already made clear that, as with Louie, an episode of this show can be about anything, and feel completely different from any of the ones before it. But some time has passed since Uncle Pete's funeral. Sylvia's hair is gone from cancer treatments, and she appears to be living with Horace — and, thus, reluctantly going along with his plan for the three of them to run the bar. And Pete, who's at the center of everything, is feeling healthy enough to give online dating a try, and is surprised — and, in a nice twist,...

"Love in the Wild" is back, gang. We have to say, it was a surprise hit with us last summer - and host Jenny McCarthy tells us that Mike/Samantha and Heather/Miles are still together, which is awesome to hear. We hope they make some cameo appearances on Season 2. She also says the first and second place couples from Season 2 are still together, which is good to know too.
The show has moved to the Dominican Republic, which gives the contestants a little more leeway in terms of scenery - notably, there are beaches and not just jungle. Let's get to it, shall we?
Picking Teams
We meet the contestants and Tara immediately stands out as the girl we hope is going to get eaten by a shark - she's looking for Mr. Hottie with a Body, which is definitely high on that list of things that make a lasting relationship.
