Before being retired, this film was shown as part of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints temple endowment ceremony, one of the religious rites of the Church. Since only Latter-day Saints are allowed in the Church's temples, very few people who are not members of the Church have seen this film, and younger Church members have never had the opportunity to see it either. It has not been used in a long time and should not be confused with the video-taped versions that have replaced it. Each of the current versions not only have completely different casts, but their content has been considerably altered to conform with the various changes in the endowment ceremony made since 1990.
Known at the B.Y.U. Department of Motion Picture Production as "production 134" which was used to replace "production 100" which had been used for many years.
One of the next films made (Possibly titled "Production 134") contained outtakes from Walt Disney's "Fantasia". It was some of the creation scenes. At the time a lot of members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints worked for Disney. I was one of them. I was a studio projectionist. Of course, at the time this was cutting-edge stuff and it was kind of Walt to let the Church use his footage.
