A limited series about the Sandy Hook shooting and the ensuing eight-year legal battle between victims’ families and gun manufacturer Remington Arms has landed at Echo Lake Entertainment. Oscar nominee Robin Swicord (“When They See Us”) and Sarah Koskoff will create the show in consultation with several families directly affected by the tragedy and their attorneys.
Swicord, Koskoff and producer Mary Jane Skalski of Echo Lake Entertainment are teaming as executive producers to tell the story of the Sandy Hook case, which uncovered how a New York private equity firm purchased legacy American gun companies in the mid-2000s, effectively creating the equivalent of Big Pharma in the consumer arms industry. Swicord and Koskoff have followed the case closely and are consulting with several families who brought the lawsuit, as well as their attorney, Josh Koskoff (Sarah Koskoff’s brother).

Bring on the pods! Even though we're still shellshocked from Love Is Blind's second season—looking at you, Shake!—turns out we have a lot more to look forward to. In an exclusive E! News interview, Vanessa Lachey, who co-hosts the series with husband Nick Lachey, revealed that season five—yes, five—of the reality series will start shooting in a few weeks. She added at Paleyfest on April 10, "We just did the intro for season four." The host shared that season three was shot in Houston and "season four is Seattle." This news follows the announcement earlier this year that a separate series featuring all–queer...

The good news is there's more Love Is Blind in our future. The bad news: We may have to see more of Shake. On March 24, Netflix confirmed that the cast of Love Is Blind's second outing will have an encore later this year when Love Is Blind: After the Altar premieres. Like the first season, fans will get a status update on the couples who said "I do" and the other stars who weren't so lucky in love. Also forecasted for a 2022 debut? A whole new Pod Squad. According to the streamer, season three is coming sooner than we think and is set to take place in Dallas. And it seems there are even more gold cups in our future as Netflix has renewed the hit series for two...

We are just days away from the March 9 premiere of “The Masked Singer” Season 7, in which the new costumed characters will be split into three groups: The Good, The Bad and The Cuddly. When Space Bunny makes his grand entrance on the stage, he’s decked out in an all-white spacesuit (and hungry for carrots). His pointy ears then comically pop out of his large helmet, which prompts judge Jenny McCarthy to shout, “That is awesome!” Fellow panelist Nicole Scherzinger chimes in, “Oh my God, he’s so cute!”

Taylor Swift’s years-long legal battle over the “Shake It Off” lyrics will stretch on into at least 2022 after a federal judge ruled Thursday that she must stand trial in the copyright case.

Several episodes of Adult Swim series have been “permanently retired due to cultural sensitivities,” according to the network, including those from “Aqua Teen Hunger Force” and “The Boondocks.”
The Daily Beast, which first reported the news, noted that Reddit users had pointed out “Aqua Teen Hunger Force” episode “Shake Like Me” and “The Boondocks” episode “The Story of Jimmy Rebel” could not be found — or were only briefly found — on HBO Max, the streaming service launched by WarnerMedia in the spring. In “Shake Like Me,” a reference to the John Howard Griffin book “Black Like Me,” Shake “learns what it’s like to be a stereotype” after being bitten by a radioactive Black man, according to the IMDb description of the episode. In the site’s description of “The Story of Jimmy Rebel,” Ruckus “finds his musical soul mate in famed racist country-western singer Jimmy Rebel.”

Presenting “Love Always,” a recurring feature in which we pay tribute to the women who helped shape our views on pop culture.
This time we pay a 51st birthday tribute to Phoebe Cates. She retired from acting 20 years ago (save for a brief bit in her pal Jennifer Jason Leigh‘s 2001 The Anniversary Party) to raise her family with husband Kevin Kline, but she gave us a couple of iconic moments in the 80′s that will live forever.
Here are seven reasons why I will Love Always Phoebe Cates.

"Pretty Little Liars" has added Annabeth Gish to the cast line-up for its second season. The former Special Agent Monica Reyes depicter on "The X-Files" is tapped to play Anne Sullivan, a therapist who is assigned to speak with each girl about the Ian-related drama in first season's finale.
"Their parents get together and force them to see a therapist to deal with their issues about Alison and this unhealthy obsession with Ian," the show's executive producer Marlene King has said before. "The therapist is going to play a large role in the summer season and the therapist is going to be someone they think about being honest about 'A' with."
Season 2 of "Pretty Little Liars" will premiere June 14 on ABC Family. The story will be "very much more about the hunt for 'A' " after season 1 dealt with the hunt for Allison's killer.

In an effort to get into a fraternity two friends, Keith (Chris Makepeace) and Aj (Robert Rusler) travel to the ‘wrong side of town’ to find a stripper to hire for a college party. Taking along the nerdy Duncan (Gedde Watanabe), simply because he has a car, they find that beneath the already seedy surface lies an even seedier underbelly of vampires in the After Dark strip club. The club is run by the sleazy Vic (Sandy Baron) and the star attraction is the frightening Katrina (Grace Jones).
Vamp boasts a cast of cult eighties stars, including Robert Rusler (Weird Science, Thrashin’), Chris Makepeace (Meatballs), Gedde Watanabe (Sixteen Candles) and Deedee Pfeiffer (That’s right, Michelle’s sister) and the inclusion of the iconic and extravagant Grace Jones as a key vampire/stripper also represents a pretty inspired piece of casting.

In the 1985-86 season of Saturday Night Live, comedian Terry Sweeney made history by becoming the first (and still the only) openly gay cast member of the landmark late-night comedy show.
But the achievement was more notable even than that: Sweeney was also the first out actor with a regular role on broadcast television ever.
And what did he get for his bravery? Despite the fact that Sweeney had performed one of SNL's bonafide break-out characters (a parody of a particularly vapid Nancy Reagan), he was unceremoniously fired, along with most of the rest of a cast that also included Robert Downey, Jr., Joan Cusack, and Randy Quaid, at the end of a season that was widely regarded as a failure.
As an out gay actor at the height of the AIDS crisis, Sweeney didn't work again for ten years.
