At long last, we finally have Motion, the fourth studio album from Edm sensation Calvin Harris. To say that it shows little effort on the DJ’s part to innovate and challenge himself would be an understatement, for the music here is as close to Calvin’s comfort zone as it can get. From the hard hitting Overdrive to the cute and catchy Outside, almost every track on the disc is representative of an artist playing things very safe and sticking to the motto, “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” Although, when you’re arguably the biggest DJ in the world, is there anything wrong with that?
That’s likely going to be the biggest debate surrounding Motion. Is it alright for Calvin to play it safe if he’s able to produce chart-topping hits that send festivalgoers into a frenzy, or should he be pushing boundaries...

Las Vegas — A 25-year-old contestant from Connecticut won the title of Miss USA in Las Vegas on Sunday night.
Erin Brady of South Glastonbury, Conn., won the beauty pageant at the Planet Hollywood hotel-casino after strutting in a white sparkly gown and answering a question about the U.S. Supreme Court's decision upholding widespread DNA tests. Asked if she agreed with the decision, Brady said she did.
Brady gets the crown and a New York apartment for one year. She is expected to spend her title reign on a nationwide speaking tour and raising breast and ovarian cancer awareness, the organization's official cause.
During the swimsuit competition, the ladies threw off sheer wraps to reveal skimpy blue, gold and orange bikinis. They strutted in stilettos to the Jonas Brothers' live performance of "Pom Poms."

Consider it a fluke if you surf through La's FM radio and don't hear a Calvin Harris song at this very moment. The Scottish DJ, who catapulted to fame with his international Rihanna hit "We Found Love," is also best known for chart-toppers "Feel So Close", "Let's Go" and "Sweet Nothing" with Florence Welch (of Florence + The Machine). To put things in perspective, Harris claims 8 top-ten hits from his last album -- which puts him in a league above even Michael Jackson.
While the DJ business certainly makes a globetrotter out of Harris, even emcees need a place to call home. The 29-year-old Harris purchased a home in the Hollywood Hills for $7 million, according to real estate site Zillow.

And then there were six! Usher and Shakira finally got to breathe sighs of relief on the results show, but that meant Adam & Blake were on the edge of their seats.
All the teams were intertwined on May 28, when they sung duets. However, even though the contestants gave it their all on The Voice, two singers still had to go home — and you wouldn’t believe which ones were eliminated.
Duets Light Up The Stage
This season, we got used to seeing Sheryl Crow as the mentor for Blake Shelton‘s team, but tonight she headed back to the stage to perform her new hit “Easy,” with the help of The Swon Brothers, Danielle Bradbery and Holly Tucker.
Then, the teams were mixed together for some duets. First Judith Hill and Michelle Chamuel performed “Sweet Nothing,” followed by The Swon Brothers and Sasha Allen singing an emotional “Don’t You Want To Stay.

"The Voice" results are in and Judith Hill and Sarah Simmons, both of Team Adam, are shockingly going home.
These were easily the most surprising results "The Voice" has seen thus far in Season 4. Judith, a former backup singer for Michael Jackson, was an early favorite.
On Monday night, the singer took on Will.i.am's "#thatPOWER," featuring Justin Bieber. It was a risky move, but Judith had newfound confidence after singing "The Way You Make Me Feel" last week and getting through the emotional performance. Judith was supposed to be Jackson's duet partner for his "This Is It" tour, which was canceled when the singer died unexpectedly. She attracted global attention when she sang the lead on "Heal the World" during Jackson's funeral, but didn't want to seize any of the many opportunities offered to her in the wake of the King of Pop's death.

One Direction was slammed at the NME Awards on Feb. 27 and he was named Villain of the Year — do you think this is wrong?
One Direction didn’t have a very good night on Feb. 27 in their hometown of London. The British boy band was named Worst Band, and Harry Styles was named Villain of the Year. Do you think that this went too far?
Harry appears to be a good sport, because he tweeted on Feb. 27, “And thank you to @NME for my award tonight. Gotta take the rough with the smooth eh?”
What Are The NME Awards?
The NME Awards were founded by a music magazine called New Musical Express. The first show was held in 1953 and the show is actually pretty legit although the trophies given to the winners of Villain of the Year and Worst Record look like a middle finger.

Hitting the red carpet at one of Britain's biggest awards shows, Florence Welch attended the NME Awards at The Troxy in London on Wednesday (February 27).
The frontwoman for Florence and the Machine wore a black and blue floral dress with a semi-sheer blue top as she smiled for photographers before heading inside.
At the ceremony, the 26-year-old songstress has a chance at two awards, she's nominated for Best Solo Artist and Best Dancefloor Anthem for her song with Calvin Harris called, "Sweet Nothing."
Hosted by comedian Russell Kane, the show includes some fun categories like Best Twitter, Hero of the Year, and Villain of the Year. Unfortunately, some groups are in the running for Worst Band, including One Direction, Muse, Mumford & Sons, Alt-j, Justin Bieber, and Ed Sheeran.

Calvin Harris, "18 Months" (Columbia Records)
Calvin Harris' third album, "18 Months," plays like a greatest-hits record, and it is hard to shake the feeling that the electronic singer-dj-producer is trying to sell us something that we already have.
A lot of the tracks have been released by their collaborator, and listening to them again on his CD is more nostalgic than anything else. However, the record reminds us just how good Harris is.
Working alongside female vocalists such as Kelis, Rihanna and Florence Welch, Harris seems to instinctively know which song suits which performer: There's monster hit "We Found Love," the perfect pop song with Rihanna; Kelis is the star of "Bounce," with its funky repetition; and "I Need Your Love" with Ellie Goulding couples her twinkling dreamy voice with the electronic direction that Goulding herself uses on her new album.
But highlights aren't just with female acts. Rapper Tinie Tempah,...

Florence + The Machine and Calvin Harris unveiled their new single on BBC's Radio 1 today, and it follows the familiar pattern of taking love-strung vocals and layering them over a bouncy, ever-building beat.
Those looking for soaring, "You've Got the Love"-style vocals will be disappointed. Florence Welch never really strains herself, apparently saving her typically athletic singing for tracks that won't primarily be used at dance music festivals.
It's not the first time the two have worked together. Harris -- he of "We Found Love" fame among top 40 fans and "Feel So Close" superstardom among dance music listeners -- contributed a solid remix of Florence + The Machine's "Spectrum."
A touch of bad news for Flo + The Machine fans: The singer recently told Style (via NME) that she planned to take a year off before beginning work on her next album. She suffered a vocal chord injury early this year, but...
