All three of the films Jim Carey made in 1994 were adapted as Saturday morning cartoons: Ave Ventura, The Mask and Dumb and Dumber. Of these, only Ace Ventura was able to secure the rights to make the character resemble Carrey.
Michael Daingerfield was actually Jim Carrey's voice double for Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls, at times when Carrey was unavailable for ADR.
One of Seth MacFarlane's first cartoon writing credits.
