D Minus doesn't earn the grade
PlanetHollywood_Robert_E30 November 2005
Drawing comparisons to films such as "Howard The Duck" and "Stop Or My Mom Will Shoot," D-Minus decided to break the mold and set an impossibly high standard for filmmakers that may never be achieved in our lifetime. Sure, some films have attempted to reach its level, but the leap proved too difficult for "Freddy Got Fingered," "Battlefield Earth" and even "Corky Romano." None of these films can achieve what D-Minus pulls off.

Along with his pudgy partner Dutch (played by co-writer Selvaggi), Mike Landis steals the show as Starski. Landis' subtle performance is reminiscent of a young Sir Lawrence Olivier while Selvaggi commands the screen like comic legend Louie Anderson.

This movie was a student film produced in Orlando Florida

Warning: Spoilers
This movie was a great start for David Swuz an upcoming producer and director from Orlando. The film displays characteristics of Q. Terintino and will appeal to the people who liked Snatch. I recommend this movie but have noted an error in the cast. Ted Manser was Bra Man in the original. The movie was shot on location at One Eyed Jacks in Downtown Orlando with the assistance of local talent. Most of this talent was recruited from the members of Orlando's Planet Hollywood Restaurant. This movie represents the best of what people with a vision and a credit card can do. Don't miss the scene in the bar where the Bra Man makes the bet...
