Mumbai’s hottest street rapper, Naezy aka Naved Shaikh, is making his Bollywood debut with Y-Films’ new film, Riteish Deshmukh and Vivek Oberoi starrer Bank Chor. Naezy has dropped his distinctive rhymes on a first-of-its-kind epic rap battle, titled BC Rap Knockout: Mumbai vs Delhi, that is composed by Shameer Tandon and written by Varun Likhate.
The rap-star, who is repped by One Digital Entertainment will face off with another rapper from Delhi in the rap battle. Naezy will also feature in its slick music video along with Riteish and Bank Chor lead actress, Rhea Chakraborty.
Naezy is currently riding on a high as Ranveer Singh plays a character inspired by him and rapper Divine, in Zoya Akhtar’s upcoming film, Gully Boy. Known for his unique ‘gully’ style, he exploded on to the indie music scene in India in 2014 with a Diy music video of his song, ‘Aafat’, that went viral,...

It was a starry night at the 5th Asian Awards courtesy of some of the biggest talents on the planet, who were recognised for setting an unprecedented standard of excellence in their fields of endeavour.
Celebrating Asian success across all walks of life, the event saw the best of stage, screen, sport, music and industry, converge on the lavish setting of the Grosvenor House Hotel, for a night of highly merited back-slapping and champagne-swilling.
Of course, all eyes were on the two star attractions whose rise to fame has been nothing less than stratospheric. Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan flew in to personally collect his award, while ex-One Direction bandmate Zayn Malik made his first public appearance since the now infamous split that left Directioners around the world in a state of mourning.
It was difficult to determine who the hoards of fans gathered outside the Park Lane hotel were screaming for,...

I know Pharrell Williams’ wonderkid Sawyer Fredericks is widely considered the odds-on choice to win Season 8 of The Voice — but as we all learned from that epic YouTube video “Lions-Vs.-Crocodiles-Vs.-Water-Buffalo,” premature predictions can be a dangerous thing.

Night 2 of the Live Playoffs underscored this lesson — as Team Xtina unleashed a trio of predators so fearsome that memories of Monday’s telecast were torn to bloody bits. And as if the “Dirrty” singer’s one-two-three punch of Kimberly (Aka the tutu-sporting rock-n-roll ballerina), India and Rob didn...

Pharrell Williams can do no wrong in my book — although he came pretty darn close when he anthropomorphized musical notes during the final night of The Voice‘s Season 8 Knockout Rounds.
“Cracking doesn’t mean you hit a bad note,” declared the Coach Most Likely to Be Confused With Yoda to his obvious favorite contestant Lowell Oakley. “It means you’ve given up on the note — and left it out there by itself.”

After gaining lot of momentum for its unique format, the roast of celebrities in India, Aib Knockout found itself in the middle of a controversy when 'guardians' of Indian culture raised their voices against the show and got the video content pulled out from the internet. While many fellow Bollywood celebrities extended their support towards the show and expressed their angst over the drastic steps being taken against Aib, Aamir Khan had a different opinion.
In a recent media event, Aamir Khan not only expressed his displeasure over the Aib Knockout but also claimed it to be 'disturbing', 'violent' and 'unfunny'. He also mentioned that Karan Johar, Arjun Kapoor and the others who participated in the 'roast' have certain kind of responsibility that they did not abide by.
However, his comments did not go down well with many in the film fraternity and one of them was Pooja Bhatt. The actress turned producer,...

WWE Hell in a Cell 2012 results from the Philips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.
The YouTube pre-show kicks off with Michael Cole and John Cena in the ring talking about the Aj Lee controversy and Vickie Guerrero promising to bring evidence to Raw. In a boring and pointless segment, Cena answers the fans social media questions including Cena passing the torch to Ryback, his advice to Ryback for the match, if Cena thinks he can beat Ryback (he puts his name in the hat to be the first challenger if he wins) and says he wants another shot at The Rock.
Final tout message comes from Dolph Ziggler who wants to know the truth about what is going on. Cena asks him to come to the ring, so he does. Ziggler attempts to attack Cena but Cena sends him right back to the floor with a clothesline.

Video director David Rousseau said he and the Cash Money team might need to check the "Guinness Book of World Records": He and his company Creativeseen may be the new record-holders for most music videos shot in 48 hours.
Lil Wayne was expected to begin serving his one-year sentence on a weapons-possession charge on Tuesday (February 9), and while that sentencing was postponed until March 2, the Mc has spent recent weeks manically recording music and videos — and over the past weekend, he hit the latter with a vengeance.
Cash Money chiefs Ronald "Slim" Williams and his brother Brian (a.k.a. Baby, a.k.a. the Birdman) enlisted Rousseau to shoot nine videos for Lil Wayne during Friday, Saturday and parts of Sunday.

The Toronto and Other Fall Festivals Rights RoundUp list looks quite sizeable for what is claimed to have been a quiet festival season. Though it's true business down, the large number of acquisitions has not been viewed as such and yet is the result of a new trend which has been sneaking up over the past few years and has now taken hold. Distributors and sales agents now acquire Before the festivals rather than during. It developed out of Cannes' prescreenings which have mostly been discontinued, and it could go so far as to change the pre-Sundance adage Not to show the film to anyone before Sundance.
This Rights RoundUp for acquisitions executives, distributors, international sales agents, investors and producers is different from my previous Rr Reports. It is no longer a report based on data and FilmFinders is out of the equation. This listing of rights acquired Before the actual festival,...

The Toronto and Other Fall Festivals Rights Round Up for acquisitions executives, distributors, international sales agents, investors and producers is different from my previous Rr Reports. It is no longer a report based on data and FilmFinders is out of the equation. This listing of rights acquired preliminary to the actual festival, during the festival and for a couple of months afterward can also be found on MDbPro who acquired FilmFinders in 2008 and where SydneysBuzz resides on the landing page and on IMDbPro's News Desk. Whenever possible, the list is alphabetical by international sales agent (linked to IMDbPro), and the Isa's titles are also linked to IMDbPro.
If you do not yet subscribe to IMDbPro, I would advise plunking down $100 for a year's subscription. You'll get more than your money's worth I promise. By going into Pro, you will be able to see all the territorial distributors for a particular title,...
