A less known jewel

"Astero" is one of the less known films of Aliki Viougiouklaki and Demetris Papamichael, who later went to become a real life couple as well. However, don't let that stopping you from seeing it, since the actors and the dramatic landscape will capture your interest.

Astero is the name of the leading female character who is a step-daughter (more like a live-in-servand) to a rich family in a mainly pastoral area. The love interest for her boss's son is what starts to drive the story to a dramatic sequence.

The performance of the same-titles song by Papamichael is an extra to the film and it won't leave an eye dry, especially on its second performance. I won't say anything more, see the film to understand why.
